  • First hole (large): Removes the outer jacket of the cable, usually from 1.6mm to 3.0mm.
  • Second hole (medium): Removes the buffer coating from 900 microns down to 250 microns.
  • Third hole (small): Removes the 250-micron coating to expose the bare 125-micron optical fiber.
