The story begins when a child prodigy, Sorata Suzuhara, wanders after hearing a mysterious song and is killed. When he wakes up, he is transported to something that resembles the past. In this unknown and strange place, he soon meets a girl who informs him that he has lost time and promises to help him return home.

Sorata follows the mysterious girl onto a round airship called Norn, which flies using technology beyond his imagination. On this airship, he meets three young ladies and nine young men, all with unique powers, on a journey given to them by a person called "The World."

Unlock the mysteries of the ship and its passengers from the perspective of each of the three girls, interact with other characters, and see how they react to specific situations. Experience the journey and the divergent story as players decide the fate of the characters in a branching narrative.
