    I am reading this book to my daughter (almost 7 years old, 2nd grade) and we really like it. I wouldn't recommend it for younger children. It has illustrations, not on every page but quite a few. The story is a bit silly, which makes it a cute book. I hope my daughter will eventually read it on her own.
