I bought the ATXC35D to get through this year's heatwave at the cottage. It was installed in a 16sqm room with no insulation, and above it a slab with a roof. With an outside temperature of 38c, inside 33c (!!!!), and a target of 26c, the Daikin burned ~3.5kwh/day under these harsh conditions. The minimum wattage was 135w. Amazing performance compared to the Toyotomi (9000btu in a fairly well-insulated room), maybe we're talking about 30% savings. I give 5* for cooling and will come back for heating. At €540 it's worth it, with €1000 there are other options like Toshiba Yukai. Overall, a very good machine.
update 27/4/2025 for winter season
I'm back to review the Daikin for heating. It's an INCREDIBLE MACHINE. In mid-December I saw it drop to 154w, obviously in very favorable conditions and low losses, but it shows that it can go low to take advantage of inverter technology. In the cold February I had it set to 23c and at desk height it was 21c, as it is a high-ceilinged room, on average it burned 6kWh/day to maintain a steady temperature of 21c during the day and 18c at night. That was in February when it was really cold even in central Greece!!! I have been extremely satisfied with the machine at the price I got it and I intend to change my entire heating system to quality air conditioners as oil has now become too expensive, while air conditioners offer very economical heating. I regret the years I used oil and didn't take advantage of these little miracles!
NEGATIVE: It only has a 3-year warranty, that is, +1 more than the 2-year warranty they are required by law to give. I consider the warranty very short and for this reason my next air conditioners will not be Daikin. You can get a 10-year extension for €99, but why do that when Fujitsu gives you a 7-year warranty? Big mistake by Daikin, and I deduct 1* for this reason.
Another negative is that in cooling mode the fan of the indoor unit does not stop, resulting in the room filling with humidity when it turns off. I haven't noticed it doing this in heating mode. Hmm, it can be solved with dry mode but that has increased energy consumption. If it's a small space where on/offs are frequent, it's better to look for another air conditioner.
Αγόρασα το ATXC35D για να βγάλει τον φετινό καύσωνα στο εξοχικό. Τοποθετήθηκε σε δωμάτιο 16τμ με ανύπαρκτη μόνωση, και από πάνω πλάκα με στέγη. Με εξωτερική θερμοκρασία 38c, εσωτερική 33c (!!!!), και ζητούμενη 26c, η daikinαρα έκαψε ~3.5kwh/day υπό αυτές τις άγριες συνθήκες. Τα ελάχιστα watt ήταν 135w. Τρομερή απόδοση σε σχέση με τα toyotomi που (9000btu σε αρκετά καλά μονωμένα δωμάτιο), ίσως μιλάμε για 30% οικονομία. Βάζω 5* για την ψύξη και θα επανέλθω για την θέρμανση. Στα 540€ αξίζει με 1000, μετά υπάρχουν και άλλες επιλογές πχ Toshiba yukai. Overall πολύ καλό μηχάνημα.
update 27/4/2025 για χειμερινή περίοδο
Επιστρέφω για να αξιολόγησω την daikinαρα για θέρμανση. Είναι ΑΠΊΣΤΕΥΤΟ ΜΗΧΆΝΗΜΑ. Μεσα Δεκεμβρίου είδα να κατεβαίνει στα 154w, προφανώς σε πολύ ευνοϊκές συνθήκες και χαμηλές απώλειες, αλλά δείχνει ότι μπορεί να κατέβει χαμηλά για να αξιοποιήσει την τεχνολογία inverter. Τον κρύο Φλεβάρη τον είχα σε ζητούμενη 23c και στο ύψος του γραφείου είχε 21c, καθώς πρόκειται για ψηλοταβανο δωμάτιο, κατά μέσο όρο έκαψε 6kWh/day για να έχει σταθερή θερμοκρασία 21c την ημέρα και 18c κατά την διάρκεια της νύχτας. Αυτά τον Φλεβάρη που πραγματικά έκανε κρύο και στην κεντρική Ελλάδα!!! Εχω μείνει τρομερά ευχαριστημένη από το μηχάνημα στην τιμή που το πήρα και σκοπεύω να αλλάξω όλο το σύστημα θέρμανσης με ποιοτικά κλιματιστικά καθώς το πετρέλαιο έχει ξεφύγει πλέον σε τιμή, ενώ τα κλιματιστικά προσφέρουν πολύ οικονομική θέρμανση. Μετανιώνω τα χρόνια που ήμουν με πετρέλαιο και δεν αξιοποιούσα αυτά τα μικρά θαύματα!
ΑΡΝΗΤΙΚΟ: Εχει εγγυηση μονο 3 χρονια δηλαδη +1 παραπανω απο 2ετη εγγυηση που ειναι υποχρεωμενοι απο τον νομο να δινουν. Την θεωρω πολυ μικρη την εγγυηση και για αυτο τον λογο τα επομενα κλιματιστικα μου δεν θα ειναι daikin. Μπορεις με 99ε να παρεις 10ετη επεκταση, αλλα γιατι να το κανεις αυτο οταν η fujitsu σου δινει 7ετη εγγυηση; Μεγαλο σφαλμα της daikin, και αφαιρω 1* για αυτο τον λογο.
Ένα άλλο αρνητικό είναι ότι στην ψύξη δεν σταματάει ο ανεμιστήρας της εσωτερικής μονάδας με αποτέλεσμα να γεμίζει το δωμάτιο υγρασία όταν κάνει off. Δεν το έχω παρατηρήσει να το κάνει στην λειτουργία θέρμανσης. Χμμμ λύνεται με dry mode που όμως έχει αυξημένη κατανάλωση ενέργειας. Εαν πρόκειται για μικρό χώρο όπου τα on/off είναι συχνά, καλύτερα να δείτε κάποιο άλλο κλιματιστικό.
