The Luxman D-07X digital player plays SACD and CD discs and also functions as a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The LxDTM-i disc drive mechanism is designed for high rigidity and reading accuracy. D/A conversion is handled by two ROHM MUS-IC BD34301EKV chips in a dual-mono configuration.

Via its USB input, it supports PCM files up to 768 kHz/32-bit and DSD up to 22.4 MHz, as well as full decoding of MQA-CDs and MQA files. It also plays CD-R, CD-RW, and MQA-CD discs.
