First time using an electric lighter, so far I have had a very good experience. I use it to light candles. It takes about the same amount of time as a conventional lighter. It makes a slightly annoying hissing sound, but nothing terrible, hence the -1 star. It consumes the battery somewhat quickly, but it charges quickly as well. Sometimes, if I'm not careful, it collects candle residue at the tip and I clean it with a flame. I hope it withstands the test of time so that I can get my money's worth, since it costs about the same as 2 equivalent conventional lighters.
