The effect of the Mist Diffuser Black No. 0.5 is similar to filters rated 1/8 compared to cinematic fog filters.

The cinematic fog effect is created by evenly distributing a fine black nano powder between two layers of optical glass, then bonding them together. The filter is made of optical glass to maintain image detail, but the glass is not multi-coated to provide enhanced flare. The slim aluminum frame can be used on wide-angle lenses without vignetting.
