Product Details

Load Index
99

Load Index

The load index refers to the maximum allowable weight per tire. The tires we install on our car must have a load index that can support the gross weight. To choose the appropriate load index and avoid instability while driving our car, we divide the maximum gross weight (kg) of the vehicle by 4 and the result of the division corresponds to a load index. For example, a tire with a load index of 91 can carry 615kg.

2. Correspondence of load indexes and weight (kg).

Link to load index and weight (kg) correspondence chart.
Speed Rating
Y

Speed Rating

The speed index is the maximum speed for a tire when it has the correct pressure and is used under load. The speed index is represented by a letter at the end of the sidewall markings, after the load index number. A tire with a speed index of V, for example, has a maximum speed of 240 km/h.

Speed index and maximum speed equivalence.

They are reinforced tires designed for heavy and commercial vehicles, as the hard sidewalls allow the tire to withstand greater loads and pressures.

The tire allows for continued driving even after puncture, for a distance of 50 to 90 kilometers.

Dimensions

20" Wheel
265/35R20

20" Wheel

The dimensions of tires consist of three different measurements, such as the width of the tire in millimeters (mm), the height or profile as a percentage of the width, and the diameter of the wheel in inches.

2. An indicative example of the dimension 215/60R16:

- Width: 215mm
- Height/Profile: 60%
- Wheel Diameter: 16" (inches)

Energy Label

Fuel Efficiency
C

Fuel Efficiency

Depending on the rolling resistance of the tire, fuel savings range from category A, which indicates the best fuel economy, to category E, which corresponds to the lowest fuel economy. Fuel-efficient tires require less energy to roll, resulting in less fuel consumption and reduced environmental impact.

C
Wet Grip
B

Wet Grip

"The Wet Grip" is the ability of the tire to adhere to a wet road surface. The performance is classified between categories A and E. Tires with a high wet grip index immobilize the vehicle more quickly on a wet road surface when the brake is fully applied.

B
Noise Level
73 dB

Noise Level

The noise index refers to the external noise produced by a tire while driving. The noise level is classified into categories A, B, or C. The rolling noise of the tire is measured in decibels. Low-noise tires have a value between 67 and 71 dB. For higher noise levels, the listed value for sound waves is between 72 and 77 dB.

Description

For more information about equivalences and indexes as well as how to choose the right tyres for you, you can find in the tyre buying guide of the category.

Car tyres for electric vehicles differ from regular tyres because they have more weight due to their battery, so they need tyres that can carry additional weight. Also, due to the increased power they have, weight transfers are more intense, much more than a vehicle with an internal combustion engine. This directly affects the tyres, resulting in faster wear. Therefore, they have less rolling resistance but also reduced noise levels.
Additionally, it has Extra Load (XL) certification and is intended for heavy and commercial vehicles, as the stiff sidewalls allow the tyre to withstand higher loads and pressures.
