The Boker Plus Appalachian axe series features:

  • Very strong head, made from 1055 carbon steel.
  • Blade thickness of 2cm, suitable for cutting and splitting.
  • Perfect weight distribution.
  • Bottom edge (heel) for splitting wood pieces.
  • Rust protection with a protective varnish.
  • Handle made from American black walnut, superior in flexibility and shock load resistance.
  • Secured handle with a wooden and steel wedge at the head.

The difference between the Small and Large models is only the length of the axe handle, not the head.
