EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW

1. It comes as a standalone piece, but also with a small "bookshelf" (2 shelves) on top. In the photos it looks very nice.
2. It is not wood but pressed paper (not MDF), about 1 cm thick.
3. It is quite roughly made and the chances are that it will arrive at your home with some damage (dents around the edges like ours, etc.) or poor workmanship (on the writing surface the two rounded corners are different from each other).
4. It does have instructions, but they are very basic and you will need to have assembled other things before to put this together. There are stores that sell it with free delivery to your place and free assembly. If you do it yourself, it is better to tighten with your hand and know that in the end something will always be left over. In any case it is not easy, but it is not that difficult either.
5. The drawers do not have runners and if the child pulls them abruptly they may break. They could be deeper. During assembly I also added glue, just in case.
6. The metal parts of the frame are rather roughly welded, making it look lower quality,
7. The writing surface is quite good in size for children up to 3rd grade of primary school (if it lasts that long, of course).
8. If you try to clean the surface by rubbing it with a baby wipe, after a while it will ... fade again.
9. The back of the drawer box (as well as their bottom) is thin cardboard-wood. The back has to be nailed on..
10. It is small in size, so it is ideal for not taking up the whole room so the child can sit there for 1 hour a day instead of at the kitchen table.
11. It has sawdust inside, so it needs careful opening and cleaning with a cloth so it doesn't fill the house.
12. It does not have knobs on the little drawers.

Yes, I consider it VFM because I bought it (the one with the shelves on top) knowing that it would not last a lifetime and that in 2 years I would need something else. Also, if I wanted something to last many years, I would have had to pay 400+ euros for just a desk, which would have been much larger unless it was custom ($$$).. I preferred this and a relatively good chair (200€). The desk, as well as the room, will change again in 2 years when the requirements will be greater, something necessary, that children like and of course costs the parents. For drawing, making a puzzle or lego, and having 2-3 notebooks when studying in the first grades of primary school, it is more than enough! As well as for covering it with stickers and writing/drawing on it.
If you want to make it last longer and you are handy, you can go and cut 16 mm MDF to the same dimensions and replace the "wood" later (even 8 mm). Alternatively, you pay more and buy something else. Alternatively, you buy this and then throw it away and move on, which is what I intend to do too.

Edit: the only thing that has broken so far was the wood on the back where his feet were resting. It will easily last another year and then we’ll go for something better.

It arrived damaged in three places and unfortunately I noticed it after I had already assembled a large part, so I was forced to keep it, also due to the difficulty of assembling it as it didn't even have instructions.
I didn't request a return to avoid the hassle

I do not recommend it at all! Some of the screws easily damage the "wood," resulting in it cracking and the screws not being able to be screwed in. The drawers, of course, do not have guides. They essentially sit on shelves, and the worst part is that even though there is space for a large drawer, they are smaller than A4 size. In other words, useless, if you can't fit an A4 book in. Also, they don't have handles, and as they are constructed, they do not open easily.

For 69 euros you don't expect something amazing. Good for a child's first desk (relatively narrow and seems of poor quality). With an electric screwdriver and some experience in assembly 2 hours, with a normal one I imagine more, with what's inside around 250 hours along with physiotherapy. Very bad instructions, if you haven't tied some furniture I don't believe you will solve the puzzle.
