The E18 controller is built with the advanced 12 nm process that ensures sufficient computational power. Additionally, it supports up to 8 NAND Flash channels with 32CE, DDR4 SLC caching, and complies with NVMe 1.4.
NAND Flash
Chosen for high quality and performance
The ultra-high-speed 3D TLC NAND Flash operates at 1600+ MT/s, which is 50% more than the previous version.
Xtreme Storage Performance
With the Phison E18 controller and 3D TLC NAND, the AORUS Gen4 7300 SSD offers stunning speeds: up to 7,300 MB/s for sequential read and up to 6,000 MB/s for sequential write. The sequential read performance of PCIe 4.0 SSDs is 2 times faster than PCIe 3.0 SSDs.
Optimized aluminum heat spreaders with Nanocarbon coating
Passive cooling for maximizing surface area and heat dissipation with advanced thermal technology and Nanocarbon coating.
Efficient Heat Dissipation Design
Compared to the regular heat spreader, the new high-performance heat spreader improves thermal dissipation to extend high-speed operation by 46% longer. Enjoy the smoothest and upgraded storage performance
Why is it so important to keep an SSD at lower temperatures?
The higher operating temperature can cause data loss. The data loss degradation factor could be a hundred times higher.
With heat spreaders, the SSD AORUS Gen4 7300 can operate at lower operating temperatures to improve data storage reliability. Additionally, SSDs can operate with excellent performance for a longer period of time.
The AORUS Gen4 7300 SSD meets the SSD expansion requirements of the PS5
The AORUS Gen4 7300 SSD with aluminum heat spreaders meets the required performance and dimensions of the PS5 M.2 SSD.
