    I use it in a small space where I have it permanently working intermittently. It hasn't presented any issues and it reduces humidity levels in a space that, although small (25 sqm), has a serious humidity problem. The only downside is its noisy operation. It should be closed during the night inside the house.

    The humidity in the basement where I live was between 82 and 89. There was a very serious problem.
    Now, after a year of use, it works perfectly throughout the day. The humidity has dropped to 42!!! And it hardly consumes any electricity compared to the refrigerator.
    For optimal performance, you should clean the filter every month with water from the tap.
    I turn it off at night because of the noise, but I have it running all day and place it in another room.

    I have installed it here for a month in a 16 sqm basement with no ventilation and normal conditions of 70%+ humidity.
    In the first few days, I put it on continuous operation and emptied the container every day, although I could have done it twice a day as it filled up easily (there is also the option of connecting it to a drain, of course). It did a very good job to the point where everything smelled fresh and even the walls dried up.
    Now I have it on constant operation at 50% where I empty the container every 3 days or so, and the machine works roughly 3-4 hours a day.
    The space is not big, but in my opinion, it is very effective as a machine. The setting at every 5% humidity (+ continuous) is very useful, although it usually shows 5-10% lower than a meter I have in the same space. Since the humidity and odors disappeared, I'm okay.
    As for the noise... I don't have much experience with dehumidifiers, but I think it is a bit noisy since the compressor is not the quietest, and the fan has no adjustment (the only buttons are power, continuous operation, +/- humidity).
