I got it to replace my old Pixel 2, which I was super satisfied with! The main reason I chose Pixel is that I can easily install another operating system. More specifically, I installed GrapheneOS, which has been working perfectly for the 5 months I've had it.
Its drawbacks include:
1) I think it is heavier than similar phones. Of course, it might just be my impression, because I'm comparing it to the Pixel 2 which was super light (and much older, of course, of course).
2) I think its battery could last a bit longer. I don't know why this is, because the Pixel 2 was fantastic even after 3 years of daily use. Maybe it's because Google now uses its own processors (Tensor) which are not so optimized (yet)?
3) The lack of the pressure sensor! It was one of my favorite sensors on the Pixel 2, because I used it to turn on the flashlight. It was like having a real flashlight! Whereas now, I have to turn on the screen and tap the flashlight icon...
Its advantages are many, but as I said at the beginning, for me the main thing is that I can easily install an alternative operating system (that respects my privacy). Surely this can be done on other phones too, but for Pixels there are extensive instructions and you can easily find support if you get stuck.
In case you are not interested in changing the operating system (wrongly, in my opinion!), the biggest advantage of a Pixel is its operating system (surprisingly)! And that's because it's much cleaner compared to others, since it has no bloatware at all. Only Google's own apps and nothing else!
Also, everyone talks about the photos that Pixels take but I don't take photos so I don't know how amazing they are. Additionally (and more importantly) because I installed GrapheneOS, I have deleted Google's own app, which is what makes the difference in photos!
Το πήρα για να αντικαταστήσω το παλιό μου Pixel 2, από το οποίο ήμουν υπερ-ευχαριστημένος! Ο βασικός λόγος που επέλεξα Pixel είναι ότι μπορώ εύκολα να εγκαταστήσω άλλο λειτουργικό. Πιο συγκεκριμένα εγκατέστησα το GrapheneOS το οποίο δουλεύει τέλεια τους 5 μήνες που το έχω.
Στα ελαττώματά του συγκαταλλέγονται:
1) Νομίζω ότι είναι πιο βαρύ από αντίστοιχα κινητά. Βέβαια, μπορεί απλά να είναι ιδέα μου, γιατί το συγκρίνω με το Pixel 2 που ήταν πανάλαφρο (και πολύ παλιότερο βεβαίως, βεβαίως)
2) Η μπαταρία του νομίζω ότι θα μπορούσε να κρατάει λίγο περισσότερο. Δεν ξέρω πού οφείλεται αυτό, γιατί το Pixel 2 ήταν φανταστικό ακόμα και μετά από 3 χρόνια καθημερινής χρήσης. Ίσως φταίει το ότι πλέον η Google χρησιμοποιεί δικούς της επεξεργαστές (Tensor) οι οποίοι δεν είναι και τόσο βελτιστοποιημένοι (ακόμα);
3) Η έλλειψη του αισθητήρα πίεσης! Ήταν από τους αγαπημένους μου αισθητήρες στο Pixel 2, γιατί τον χρησιμοποιούσα για να ανάβω τον φακό. Ήταν σαν να είχα κανονικό φακό! Ενώ τώρα, πρέπει να ανοίξω την οθόνη και να πατήσω το εικονίδιο του φακού...
Τα πλεονεκτήματά του είναι πολλά, αλλά όπως είπα και στην αρχή για μένα το βασικό είναι ότι μπορώ εύκολα να βάλω ένα εναλλακτικό λειτουργικό (που σέβεται την ιδιωτικότητά μου). Σίγουρα γίνεται και σε άλλα κινητά, αλλά για τα Pixel υπάρχουν εκτενείς οδηγίες και βρίσκεις εύκολα υποστήριξη αν κολλήσεις.
Σε περίπτωση που δεν σας ενδιαφέρει να αλλάξετε λειτουργικό σύστημα (κακώς, κατά την γνώμη μου!), το μεγαλύτερο πλεονέκτημα ενός Pixel είναι το λειτουργικό του (παραδόξως)! Κι αυτό γιατί είναι πολύ πιο καθαρό σε σχέση με άλλα, αφού δεν έχει καθόλου bloatware. Μόνο οι εφαρμογές της μαμάς Google και τίποτα άλλο!
Επίσης, όλοι λένε για τις φωτογραφίες που βγάζουν τα Pixel αλλά δεν βγάζω φωτογραφίες οπότε δεν ξέρω πόσο φοβερές είναι. Επιπλέον (και πιο σημαντικό) επειδή έχω βάλει το GrapheneOS, έχω σβήσει την εφαρμογή της μαμάς Google, η οποία και κάνει την διαφορά στις φωτογραφίες!
I bought it only for the camera and I was absolutely satisfied. At 330, which is what I paid for it, I think it was the best choice.

Many times it doesn't get a signal, resulting in people calling you and your phone not ringing. We're talking about a problem where about 1 in 3 calls don't go through. Also, its UI is not the best, I prefer Samsung's. Good photos as expected from Pixel, but it's not night and day compared to other phones (this is more because others have improved, not because Pixel has gotten worse).
Update: 1 in 3 are the calls that actually go through, it's ridiculous. If a phone doesn't have signal, it's useless.
Πολες φορες δεν πιανει σημα με αποτελεσμα να σε καλουνε και να μην χτυπαει. Μιλαμε για προβλημα που μπορει να παρουσιαζεται με συχνοτητα 1 στις 3 κλησεις να μην περναει. Επισης το UI του δεν ειναι το καλυτερο, προτιμω της samsung. Καλες φωτογραφιες οπως περιμενουμε απο pixel, χωρις ομως να ειναι μερα νυχτα με τα αλλα κινητα ( αυτο εχει να κανει περισσοτερο οτι οι υπολοιποι εχουν ανεβει οχι οτι εχει πεσει το pixel ).
Update: 1 στις 3 είναι οι κλήσεις που πιάνουν έλεος. Εάν ένα κινητό δεν έχει σήμα είναι άχρηστο.

For many years I had Xiaomi phones, the latest being the Redmi Note 10s, and recently I was considering purchasing this phone, but I was troubled by some negative reviews I read here. After having it in my hands for 1.5 months, I want to clarify that it is an excellent phone and anyone who is "thinking about it" should just proceed confidently with the purchase!
At first, I must say that I was taken aback by some differences between the pure Android from Google and the MIUI Android that I was used to with Xiaomi. I might even still believe that 1-2 aspects of MIUI offer better ergonomics. However, these are also matters of habit.
Holding the Google Pixel 7a in your hands, you feel its premium build, and visually I really like it with the screen that fills the panel. In use, it is truly fast and never disappoints. Its photos are simply e-x-c-e-l-l-e-n-t and compared to my previous phones, it's like night and day. Its battery lasts 1-2 days depending on usage, and regarding the charging, which has been discussed a lot, I have to say that I encountered absolutely no problems and it charges quickly, depending on the capabilities of the charger.
Για πολλά χρόνια είχα κινητά Xiaomi με τελευταίο το Redmi Note 10s και τον τελευταίο καιρό σκεφτόμουν την αγορά αυτού του κινητού, αλλά με προβλημάτιζαν κάποιες αρνητικές κριτικές που διάβαζα εδώ. Μετά από 1,5 μήνα που το έχω στα χέρια μου, θέλω να ξεκαθαρίσω οτι πρόκειται για ένα εξαιρετικό κινητό και όποιος "το σκέφτεται" απλά να προχωρήσει άφοβα στην αγορά του!
Στην αρχή πρέπει να πω οτι με ξένισαν κάποιες διαφορές μεταξύ του καθαρού android της Google και του MIUI android που είχα συνηθίσει με την Xiaomi. Ίσως μάλιστα να πιστεύω ακόμη οτι 1-2 πτυχές του MIUI φέρνουν καλύτερη εργονομία. Είναι όμως και θέματα συνήθειας.
Κρατώντας το στα χέρια σου το Google Pixel 7a αισθάνεσαι την premium κατασκευή του αλλά και οπτικά μου αρέσει πολύ με την οθόνη που γεμίζει το πάνελ του. Στη χρήση του είναι πραγματικά γρήγορο και δεν σε απογοητεύει ποτέ. Οι φωτογραφίες του είναι απλά ε-ξαι-ρε-τι-κές και σε σχέση με τα προηγούμενα κινητά μου είναι περίπου σαν τη μέρα με τη νύχτα. Η μπαταρία του κρατά 1-2 μέρες αναλόγως της χρήσης και για τη φόρτιση που γράφονται πολλά, έχω να πω οτι δεν συνάντησα κανένα απολύτως πρόβλημα και φορτίζει γρήγορα , ανάλογα με τις δυνατότητες του φορτιστή.
I think it's a very honest phone with an amazing camera for its price. The battery lasts a day with normal use. If I had to find something negative, it would be a) that it doesn't include a charger, only a cable, and b) the brightness of the screen; I believe it could be a bit stronger in daylight. I'm back after 1 month of use. The phone hasn't frozen even once, it works perfectly, it has an excellent speaker! The only thing that bothers me is the brightness in outdoor sunlight; even in the shade, I put it on full brightness and I'm not that satisfied.

Ωραίο design, κανονικό μέγεθος, δεν κολλάει κατά τη χρήση, πολύ δυνατές κάμερες βγάζει τέλειες φωτογραφίες σε συνδυασμό με το πρόγραμμα επεξεργασίας της google που είναι ήδη εγκατεστημένο είναι απλώς τέλειες! Η μπαταρία κρατάει μιάμιση μέρα περίπου, ανάλογα και τη χρήση. Αρνητικά ζεσταίνεται λίγο η συσκευή αν το χρησιμοποιήσεις λίγο παραπάνω (youtube, netflix, παιχνίδια κτλ) και η ποιότητα κλήσης είναι μέτρια. Τέλος, μην περιμένετε φορτιστή μέσα, μόνο το καλώδιο υπάρχει. Παρόλα αυτά, βάζω 5 αστέρια γιατί είναι πολύ βολικό, απλό, γρήγορο και κατανοητό στη χρήση, βγάζει υπέροχες φωτογραφίες και είναι όμορφο στο μπλε χρώμα τουλάχιστον.
Owner of the 7a for about 1.5 months and previously had the 6a, so I will say some things in comparison to the 6a!
The phone is fast with very good photo and software editing (like the 6a and all the pixels).
But the most important thing that I didn't have with the previous phone is the 5g, volte, and vowifi, which now all work perfectly with Nova!
The fingerprint has improved a lot and now it also has face recognition that works correctly (the 6a didn't have).
The only small complaint is the battery that barely lasts a day without games!
So now that companies have solved the issue of services that the pixels used to suffer from in this area, the only issue that remains is the official introduction, which I think will not be delayed and will be resolved.
So for someone who dares to buy it (due to the fear of official service), they will not regret it at all!
Κάτοχος του 7α περίπου 1.5 μήνα και πριν είχα το 6α άρα θα πω κάποια πράγματα συγκριτικά με το 6α!
Το τηλέφωνο γρήγορο με πάρα πολύ καλή φωτογραφία και επεξεργασία από το λογισμικό (όπως και το 6α και όλα τα pixel).
Το σημαντικότερο όμως που δεν είχα με το προηγούμενο κινητό είναι το 5g, το volte και το vowifi που πλέον με nova λειτουργούν όλα άψογα!
Δακτυλικό έχει βελτιωθεί πολύ και πλέον έχει και αναγνώριση προσώπου που λειτουργεί σωστά (το 6α δεν είχε).
Το μόνο μικρό παράπονο είναι η μπαταρία που οριακά βγάζει την ημέρα χωρίς παιχνίδια!
Άρα αφού πια οι εταιρείες έχουν λύσει το θέμα των υπηρεσιών που πριν έπασχαν τα pixel σε αυτόν τον τομέα το μόνο θέμα που μένει ακόμα είναι η επίσημη εισαγωγή που νομίζω δεν θα αργήσει και αυτό να λυθεί..
Άρα για κάποιον που θα τολμήσει να το αγοράσει (λόγω του φόβου του επίσημου service) δεν θα το μετανιώσει με τίποτα!!
I was scared by the comments about the fingerprint. It works fine and always recognizes, just like the face unlock (with good lighting). Είναι προσωπική παρατήρηση αυτή, μιας και το προηγούμενο κινητό μου το είχε, αλλά εν πάση περιπτώσει, θα μπορούσε να έχει IR Blaster για να μπορείς να χρησιμοποιείς το κινητό και ως τηλεκοντρόλ—μία λειτουργία που έχουν τα περισσότερα Xiaomi και σε πολύ χαμηλότερες τιμές. Όπως ανέφερα, το είχα και βολεύει.

This mobile phone is chosen purely and solely for the camera. The reason is that this camera is not found at all for this money. (and besides the fact that it takes very good photos, Google's processing takes them to another level, making them a different photo from the original) it competes with an equivalent iPhone that costs twice as much. The battery is average. It takes a while to charge but lasts all day. One very annoying thing - the fingerprint sensor. Half the time it doesn't work, otherwise you have to enter a code. On other phones it would unlock before you even touched it properly, this one requires careful clicking and if---- anyone who is passionate and knowledgeable about photography I don't think they will regret it. As for calls, everything is fine for now

The phone is definitely worth 100% of its money, especially if you catch it on sale. It is a flagship quality, with the software and hardware showing exactly that in every aspect you try it. An easy "hack" is to set the screen to 90Hz, it will consume battery but completely changes the navigation. It comes factory set at 60 Hz, but if you try it at 90 you simply won't go back. My only complaint is that the Messenger bubbles don't work, and it's absolutely annoying. I haven't found a solution so far, from what I read online it's a pretty common issue they have since Android 14 came out, so I hope they fix it in the future. Oh, and it supports 5G normally from December 23!
Το κινητό αξίζει 100% τα χρήματά του, ειδικά αν το πετύχετε σε προσφορά. Εϊναι ποιότητας flagship, με το λογισμικο και το hardware να σου δείχνουν ακριβώς αυτό σε κάθε τι το δοκιμάσεις. Ενα εύκολο "hack" είναι να βάλετε την οθόνη στα 90Hz, θα τρώει μπαταρία αλλά αλλάζει εντελώς την πλοήγηση. Εργοστασιακά έρχεται με 60 Hz, αλλα αν το δοκιμάσετε στα 90 απλά δεν γυρίζετε πίσω μετά. Μόνο παράπονο ότι δεν λειτουργούν τα bubbles του Messenger, και είναι απολύτως εκνευριστικό. Δεν έχω βρει λύση ως τώρα, από ό,τι διαβάζω online είναι αρκετά συχνό θέμα που έχουν από όταν βγήκε το Android 14, οπότε ελπίζω στο μέλλον να φτιάξει. Α και υποστηρίζει από το Δεκέμβρη του 23 κανονικά 5G!
One of the top value-for-money smartphones on the market. Honestly, I don't know what the hell is going on and why Google doesn't have actual support in Greece (probably some exclusive agreement with Samsung or Xiaomi), but thank god we can order it through Skroutz. A smartphone that easily competes with others worth €1000+. It simply rocks!

Ειλικρίνα δεν γνωρίζω τι στο καλό συμβαίνει και δεν έχει actual support η Google στην Ελλάδα (λογικά κάποια exclusive συμφωνία με Samsung ή Xiaomi), αλλά δόξα τον θεό μπορούμε να το παραγγέλνουμε μέσω του Skroutz. Ένα smartphone που άνετα κοντραρεται με άλλα αξίας 1000€+. Απλά τα σπάει !!!
It was critically important for me to have 2 SIM cards. I planned to use the first one as a physical one and the second one as an eSIM. But the sim card just couldn't activate. There are quite a few topics in Google on the topic that they cannot connect eSim card to a Google pixel. I tried all the solutions and nothing worked for me (manual input of course I tried). This was important to me, so keep in mind that there may be problems with eSIM
As the owner of Nexus 5X and Pixel 4a, I declare myself very satisfied with the Pixel mobiles. I have experienced very few problems in almost 7 years, and with the 4a, I haven't had any. Naturally, my next choice was the Pixel 7a, which was purchased from abroad.
The Android version it has (14) is very close to the one that the 4a had (13), which for me was super familiar, as well as the transfer of applications from one phone to another, which was very fast and easy. In terms of size, it is considerably larger and heavier (193.5 g compared to 143 g). However, it has a much better screen, much better - and tangible - build quality, better sound - including HD Voice support in calls (indicated), always recognized fingerprint (the 4a had an issue), 5G (see image), and a normal battery that lasts over a day with normal usage (not gaming).
These are my observations after two weeks of use. At €400, I believe it is a good choice for stock Android with updates and support, and the - classically - top-notch camera in this price range. It also has a nice appearance in this series.
Ως κάτοχος Nexus 5X και Pixel 4a δηλώνω πολύ ευχαριστημένος με τα Pixel κινητά. 7 σχεδόν χρόνια αντιμετώπισα ελάχιστα προβλήματα, με το 4a μάλιστα κανένα. Η επόμενη επιλογή μου ήταν λογικά το Pixel 7a, το οποίο αγοράστηκε από εξωτερικό.
Η έκδοση του Android που έχει (14) είναι πολύ κοντά σε εκείνη που είχε φτάσει να έχει το 4a (13), κάτι που για εμένα ήταν σούπερ οικείο, όπως και η μεταφορά εφαρμογών από το ένα τηλέφωνο στο άλλο που ήταν πολύ γρήγορη και εύκολη. Σαν μέγεθος είναι αρκετά μεγαλύτερο και βαρύτερο (193.5 γρ έναντι 143 γρ). Έχει όμως πολύ καλύτερη οθόνη, πολύ καλύτερη – και απτή – ποιότητα κατασκευής, καλύτερο ήχο – και στη συνομιλία όπου υποστηρίζεται HD Voice (βγαίνει σχετική ένδειξη), αποτύπωμα που αναγνωρίζεται πάντα (το 4a είχε θέμα), 5g (δείτε την εικόνα), νορμάλ μπαταρία άνω της μίας ημέρας με νορμάλ χρήση (όχι gaming).
Αυτά προς το παρόν μετά από δύο εβδομάδες χρήσης. Στα 400€ νομίζω πως είναι μια καλή επιλογή για stock android με αναβαθμίσεις και υποστήριξη, την - κλασσικά - κορυφαία κάμερα σε αυτή την κατηγορία τιμής. Σε αυτή τη σειρά έχει και ωραία εμφάνιση.
Unfortunately, I have a problem with the android. Since July 2023, when I bought it, I have a problem with the Bluetooth. Δυστυχως εχω προβλημα με το android. απο τον Ιουλιο 2023 που το πηρα εχω προβλημα με το bluetooth . δεν ακουγεται ο ηχος τερματισμου της κλησης απο τα hands free και στο αμαξι δεν εντοπιζει πλεον το προγραμμα που ακουγα μουσικη . Απο οτι ειδα παρομοιο προβλημα εχουν κι αλλοι χρηστες . Τελικα φτιαχνπουν κατι και χαλανε κατι αλλο
Starting with my previous phone, it was the Redmi Note 8, which was a cheap phone that costs less than 200 euros. It broke and I had to quickly change my phone because I didn't have any other spare to use. I ended up with the Pixel 7a on the advice of a friend because it is a relatively small phone, which suits me, and it has an incredible camera and software. All of this is true and more, the software is awesome, fast, and simple, and the camera is amazing (sometimes when there is poor lighting and you take a photo, it looks like you have applied a filter, something that I only encounter in the selfie camera, but this happens because it uses a lot of AI to capture the best possible photos, which is not a bad thing but keep it in mind). The size of the phone is convenient for me because I have small hands and I don't like holding a huge phone. The screen displays nice colors and is smooth with the 90Hz refresh rate. The phone's speaker is very nice, but not as loud. At first, the sound seemed strange to me, but then I got used to it and realized that it produces vibrant and clear sound with bass. It is worth mentioning that the screen brightness is not that good, in sunlight, you have to set it to the maximum in specific cases, but it's not a big issue.
You should know that the only downside to Pixel phones is that it is difficult to find spare parts in Greece. It is impossible for me to find anything for my phone (case and screen protector) here. Also, there is no WiFi calling, which doesn't bother me personally, but there are people who need it (nor 5G). One last thing, the battery will last you a day for everyday use like social media browsing, music, and light gaming.
My advice is for those who are not in a hurry to wait and see at what price the Pixel 8 will reach or in case the 8a is released, consider getting those. Otherwise, look for the Pixel 7a and iPhone, in my opinion, these two companies produce the best phones (there are some exceptions with Samsung)
Ξεκινώντας το προηγούμενο κινητό μου ήταν το Redmi note 8 το συγκεκριμένο ήταν ένα φθηνό κινητό που κάνει κάτω από 200 ευρώ. Έσπασε και έπρεπε γρήγορα να αλλάξω κινητό γιατί δνε είχα κάποιο άλλο πρόχειρο να χρησιμοποιήσω. Κατέληξα στο pixel 7a με συμβουλή φίλου διότι είναι σχετικά ένα μικρό τηλέφωνο κάτι που με βολεύει και έχει απίστευτη κάμερα και λογισμικό. Αυτα ισχύουν και με το παραπάνω το λογισμικό είναι φοβερό, γρήγορο και απλό η κάμερα είναι απίστευτη ( μερικές φορές όταν έχει χαλιά φωτισμό και τραβάς φωτογραφία φαίνεται σαν να έχεις βάλει φίλτρο κάτι που συναντάω μόνο στην σελφι κάμερα αλλά αυτό συμβαίνει γιατί χρησιμοποιεί πολύ ai τι τηλέφωνο για την καλύτερη δυνατή λήψη φωτογραφιών δνε είναι κάτι κακό αλλά να το έχετε στο νου σας). Το μέγεθος του τηλεφώνου με βολεύει γιατί έχω μικρά χέρια και δνε μου αρέσει να κρατάω τεράστιο τηλέφωνο. Η οθόνη βγάζει ωραία χρώματα και είναι smooth με τα 90hrz. το ηχείο του τηλεφώνου είναι πολύ ωραίο αλλά όχι τόσο δυνατό στην αρχή μου φαινόταν περίεργος ο ήχος αλλά μετά το συνήθισα και κατάλαβα πως βγάζει ζωντανό και καθαρό ήχο με μπάσο. Αξίζει να αναφέρω πως η φωτεινότητα της οθόνης δεν είναι τόσο καλή, με ήλιο πρέπει να την βάλεις στο φυλλ σε συγκεκριμένες περιπτώσεις αλλά δνε είναι κάτι κακό
Πρέπει να σας είναι γνωστό πως το μόνο αρνητικό σε πίξελ τηλέφωνα είναι ότι δύσκολα θα βρεις ανταλλακτικά στην Ελλάδα , είναι ακατόρθωτο σε εμένα ότι έχω πάνω στο τηλέφωνο ( θήκη και τζαμακι ) είναι αγοράσαμενα από εδώ. επίσης wifi calling δνε υπάρχει δνε με πειράζει εμένα προσωπικά αλλά υπάρχουν άτομα που το χρειάζονται ( ούτε 5g) . κάτι τελευταίο η μπαταρία θα σου βγάλει την ημέρα για καθημερινή χρήση social media browsing μουσική και κανένα ελαφρό παιχνίδι
Η συμβουλή μου είναι όσοι δνε βιάζεστε να περιμένετε να δείτε σε τι τιμή θα φτάσει το πίξελ 8 η σε περίπτωση που βγεί 8a να πάρετε αυτά αλλιώς κοιτάξτε για πίξελ 7α και iphone και την άποψη μου αυτές οι δυο εταιρείες βγάζουν τα καλύτερα τηλεφώνα ( υπάρχουν και κάποιες εξαιρέσεις σε Samsung )
The only problem I encountered was that in calls longer than 10 minutes, the sound quality deteriorated to the point where you had to hang up. With the installation of pixel ims and the activation of volte and vowifi, it is flawless. My battery lasts 2 days with several calls and about 4 hours of surfing/social media per day. The size is fine, although personally I would prefer it to be slightly smaller. The quality is great and what I like is that you can feel the buttons when pressed.
Το μόνο πρόβλημα που αντιμετώπισα ήταν ότι σε κλήσεις μεγαλύτερες των 10min χαλούσε πολύ η ποιότητα του ήχου σε βαθμό που έπρεπε να κλείσεις. Με την εγκατάσταση του pixel ims και την ενεργοποίηση του volte και vowifi είναι άψογο. Η μπαταρία μου κρατάει 2 μέρες με αρκετές κλήσεις και κάνα 4ωρο ανά ημέρα σερφαρισμα/social. Το μέγεθος είναι μια χαρά αν και προσωπικά θα το ήθελα ένα κλικ μικρότερο. Ποιοτικά είναι μια χαρά και αυτό που μου αρέσει είναι ότι τα κουμπιά τα νιώθεις όταν πατιουνται.
Only flaw is that it does mirroring ONLY through Chromecast. Practically, you can't do mirroring almost anywhere else. Other than that, it is the best value for money in the mid-range category for 2023.

I have had the phone for 3 months now and I am quite satisfied. It has not experienced a single lag. The overheating issue that was mentioned for the 7 series disappeared after the first update, at least in the 7a. You can handle it quickly without any freezing and the device stays cool. Clean Android software from the mother company without any ads popping up on the screen like in other brands.
- AMAZING camera that you can't find in many more expensive phones. It takes beautiful photos and in low light conditions, which is not easily found. The video is decent without being shaky, better than the previous model 6a.
- Flexible software with an "intelligent" AI processor that specializes in AI. You can communicate with the device hands-free. Hopefully, Google will add Greek language FINALLY in some update.
- Only 4G signal for now in Greece for the pixels, but I don't care at all since it is crystal clear and works everywhere.
- The battery is average but not bad as the software helps it. It lasts a day of use without any worries. The downside is that it doesn't charge quickly, but you always lose something if you don't spend 1000 euros.
- The size of 6.1 inches is ideal for me, as everything else seems like slippers.
- The speakers are decent. The microphone performs well in sound recordings.
Tο κινητο το εχω ηδη 3 μήνες και εχω μεινει αρκετά ευχαριστημένος. Δεν εχει φαει κυριολεκτικα ΟΥΤΕ 1 κόλλημα. Υπερθέρμανση που χε αναφερθει για τη σειρα 7, εξαφανιστηκε μετα το 1ο update, τουλαχιστον στο 7a. Μπορεις να το χειρίζεσαι γρήγορα χωρίς σκαλώματα και η συσκευη μένει κρύα. Καθαρό λογισμικό Android απ την μαμά εταιρεία χωρίς διαφημίσεις που θα πεταγοταν στην οθόνη σε άλλες μάρκες.
- ΤΟΥΜΠΑΝΗ κάμερα που δε βρίσκεις αντίστοιχη σε πολλα πιο ακριβά κινητά. Δίνει όμορφες φωτογραφιες και σε συνθήκες χαμηλού φωτισμου κατι που δε βρίσκεις εύκολα. Το βίντεο αξιοπρεπέστατο χωρίς να ζαλίζει, καλύτερο απ το προηγουμενο μοντελο 6a.
-Ευέλικτο λογισμικό με "εξυπνο" επεξεργαστη ΑΙ που ειδικεύεται στο AΙ. Μπορείς να επικοινωνείς με τη συσκευή χωρίς χέρια. Μακάρι κάποια στιγμη η Google να βαλει και Ελληνική γλώσσα ΕΠΙΤΕΛΟΥΣ σε κάποιο update.
-Σήμα μονο 4G προς το παρων στην Ελλαδα για τα pixel αλλα δε με νοιάζει καθόλου αφου ειναι πεντακάθαρο και πιάνει παντού.
-Μπαταρία έχει μέτρια αλλα όχι κακή καθώς το λογισμικό τη βοηθάει . 1 μέρα να το λιώνεις σε χρήση στη βγάζει χωρίς αγχος Το κακό είναι οτι δε φορτίζει γρήγορα αλλα πάντα κατι χάνεις αν δε δώσεις 1000 ευρώ.
-Το μεγεθος 6.1 ιντσες για μένα ειναι ιδανικό, αφου όλα τα βγάζουν παντοφλες.
-Τα ηχεία οκ τίμια. Μικρόφωνο καλό στην απόδοση ήχου στις ηχογραφήσεις.
In Greece, WiFi calling does not work out of the box, it needs to be enabled with separate apps. Look for shizuku, pixel ims, and cosmote to see the process. Where I live, I have a big problem with the signal, so I use WiFi calling a lot, and until I manage to get it working again, I suffer. The battery, without playing games and with simple browsing and a few videos and music, lasts me a day and something. Overall, compared to the poco x3 pro that I had, for the simple usage I do, I feel like it was better and it's a phone that is 2-3 years older. If I had researched it better, I probably wouldn't buy it again. The fingerprint sensor works 1 out of 2 times. I have scanned my finger 4 times for it to be reliable. In terms of photos, videos, speed, and screen, it is flawless. P.S: The stock Android without the unnecessary apps of the respective manufacturer like Mi, Samsung, etc. is invaluable.
Στην Ελλάδα δεν λειτουργεί το WiFi calling από τη μαμά του, πρέπει να ενεργοποιηθεί με ξεχωριστά apps. Ψάξτε για shizuku, pixel ims και cosmote για να δείτε τη διαδικασία. Εδώ που μένω έχω μεγάλο πρόβλημα με το σήμα οπότε χρησιμοποιώ το wifi calling πάρα πολύ και μέχρι να καταφέρω να ξαναδουλέψει δεινοπάθησα.
Η μπαταρία του χωρίς να παιζω παιχνίδια και με απλή χρήση browsing και λίγα βίντεο και μουσική μου βγάζει μία μέρα και κάτι. Γενικά το poco x3 pro που είχα, για την απλή χρήση που κάνω νίωθω ότι ήταν καλύτερο και είναι τηλέφωνο 2-3 χρόνων παλιότερο. Αν το έιχα ψάξει καλύτερα, μάλλον δε θα το ξανααγόραζα.
Ο fingerprint sensor δουλεύει 1 στις 2. Έχω περάσει το δάχτυλο μου 4 φορές για να είναι αξιόπιστο.
Σε φώτος, βίντεο, ταχύτητα, οθόνη είναι άψογο.
Υ.Γ: Αξία ανεκτίμητη το stock android χωρίς τα ανούσια apps του εκάστοτε κατασκευαστή όπως Mi, Samsung κλπ κλπ.
The mobile phone is good if you know what you're getting beforehand. For better or worse, in such mid-range phones there is no longer one that has it all, you lose something somewhere and gain something somewhere else. Its main advantage is its operating system, clean android, which is incredible compared to other loaded ones like Xiaomi. The charging speed is relatively slow and its battery is average. Its screen is good but it has large bezels and personally, they are a bit annoying. The fingerprint sensor is irritating. 5G doesn't work yet but now there is Volte normally. Its speaker is stereo, quite loud and satisfactory. Its camera is very good, especially if you explore the options it gives you. The main problem for me is its price and the small difference it has with the Pixel 7. If it was priced around 400 euros, it would be a very good choice.
Το κινητό είναι καλό αν γνωρίζεις τι παίρνεις απο πριν. Καλώς η κακώς σε τέτοια midrange κινητά πλέον δεν υπάρχει κάποιο που να τα έχει όλα, κάπου χάνεις κάπου κερδίζεις. Το βασικό του πλεονέκτημα είναι το λειτουργικό του, καθαρό android, το οποίο είναι απίστευτο σε σχέση με άλλα φορτωμένα πχ xiaomi. Η ταχύτητα φόρτισης είναι σχετικά αργή και η μπαταρία του μέτρια. Η οθόνη του είναι καλή αλλα έχει μεγάλα bezels και προσωπικά είναι λίγο ενοχλητικά. Το δαχτυλικό αποτύπωμα είναι εκνευριστικό. Το 5g δεν δουλεύει ακόμα αλλα πλέον υπάρχει το Volte κανονικά. Το ηχείο του είναι στέρεο αρκετά δυνατό και ικανοποιητικό. Η κάμερα του είναι πολύ καλή ειδικά αν ψαχτείς λίγο με τις επιλογές που σου δίνει. Το βασικό πρόβλημα για μένα είναι η τιμή του και η μικρή διαφορά που έχει με το pixel 7. Αν έπαιζε γύρω στα 400 ευρώ θα ήταν μία πάρα πολύ καλή επιλογή.

I got it to replace my old Pixel 2, which I was super satisfied with! The main reason I chose Pixel is that I can easily install another operating system. More specifically, I installed GrapheneOS, which has been working perfectly for the 5 months I've had it.
Its drawbacks include:
1) I think it is heavier than similar phones. Of course, it might just be my impression, because I'm comparing it to the Pixel 2 which was super light (and much older, of course, of course).
2) I think its battery could last a bit longer. I don't know why this is, because the Pixel 2 was fantastic even after 3 years of daily use. Maybe it's because Google now uses its own processors (Tensor) which are not so optimized (yet)?
3) The lack of the pressure sensor! It was one of my favorite sensors on the Pixel 2, because I used it to turn on the flashlight. It was like having a real flashlight! Whereas now, I have to turn on the screen and tap the flashlight icon...
Its advantages are many, but as I said at the beginning, for me the main thing is that I can easily install an alternative operating system (that respects my privacy). Surely this can be done on other phones too, but for Pixels there are extensive instructions and you can easily find support if you get stuck.
In case you are not interested in changing the operating system (wrongly, in my opinion!), the biggest advantage of a Pixel is its operating system (surprisingly)! And that's because it's much cleaner compared to others, since it has no bloatware at all. Only Google's own apps and nothing else!
Also, everyone talks about the photos that Pixels take but I don't take photos so I don't know how amazing they are. Additionally (and more importantly) because I installed GrapheneOS, I have deleted Google's own app, which is what makes the difference in photos!
Το πήρα για να αντικαταστήσω το παλιό μου Pixel 2, από το οποίο ήμουν υπερ-ευχαριστημένος! Ο βασικός λόγος που επέλεξα Pixel είναι ότι μπορώ εύκολα να εγκαταστήσω άλλο λειτουργικό. Πιο συγκεκριμένα εγκατέστησα το GrapheneOS το οποίο δουλεύει τέλεια τους 5 μήνες που το έχω.
Στα ελαττώματά του συγκαταλλέγονται:
1) Νομίζω ότι είναι πιο βαρύ από αντίστοιχα κινητά. Βέβαια, μπορεί απλά να είναι ιδέα μου, γιατί το συγκρίνω με το Pixel 2 που ήταν πανάλαφρο (και πολύ παλιότερο βεβαίως, βεβαίως)
2) Η μπαταρία του νομίζω ότι θα μπορούσε να κρατάει λίγο περισσότερο. Δεν ξέρω πού οφείλεται αυτό, γιατί το Pixel 2 ήταν φανταστικό ακόμα και μετά από 3 χρόνια καθημερινής χρήσης. Ίσως φταίει το ότι πλέον η Google χρησιμοποιεί δικούς της επεξεργαστές (Tensor) οι οποίοι δεν είναι και τόσο βελτιστοποιημένοι (ακόμα);
3) Η έλλειψη του αισθητήρα πίεσης! Ήταν από τους αγαπημένους μου αισθητήρες στο Pixel 2, γιατί τον χρησιμοποιούσα για να ανάβω τον φακό. Ήταν σαν να είχα κανονικό φακό! Ενώ τώρα, πρέπει να ανοίξω την οθόνη και να πατήσω το εικονίδιο του φακού...
Τα πλεονεκτήματά του είναι πολλά, αλλά όπως είπα και στην αρχή για μένα το βασικό είναι ότι μπορώ εύκολα να βάλω ένα εναλλακτικό λειτουργικό (που σέβεται την ιδιωτικότητά μου). Σίγουρα γίνεται και σε άλλα κινητά, αλλά για τα Pixel υπάρχουν εκτενείς οδηγίες και βρίσκεις εύκολα υποστήριξη αν κολλήσεις.

Επίσης, όλοι λένε για τις φωτογραφίες που βγάζουν τα Pixel αλλά δεν βγάζω φωτογραφίες οπότε δεν ξέρω πόσο φοβερές είναι. Επιπλέον (και πιο σημαντικό) επειδή έχω βάλει το GrapheneOS, έχω σβήσει την εφαρμογή της μαμάς Google, η οποία και κάνει την διαφορά στις φωτογραφίες!

Also, its UI is not the best, I prefer Samsung's. Good photos as expected from Pixel, but it's not night and day compared to other phones (this is more because others have improved, not because Pixel has gotten worse).
Update: 1 in 3 are the calls that actually go through, it's ridiculous. If a phone doesn't have signal, it's useless.

I got it to replace my old Pixel 2, which I was super satisfied with! The main reason I chose Pixel is that I can easily install another operating system. More specifically, I installed GrapheneOS, which has been working perfectly for the 5 months I've had it.
Its drawbacks include:
1) I think it is heavier than similar phones. Of course, it might just be my impression, because I'm comparing it to the Pixel 2 which was super light (and much older, of course, of course).
2) I think its battery could last a bit longer. I don't know why this is, because the Pixel 2 was fantastic even after 3 years of daily use. Maybe it's because Google now uses its own processors (Tensor) which are not so optimized (yet)?
3) The lack of the pressure sensor! It was one of my favorite sensors on the Pixel 2, because I used it to turn on the flashlight. It was like having a real flashlight! Whereas now, I have to turn on the screen and tap the flashlight icon...
Its advantages are many, but as I said at the beginning, for me the main thing is that I can easily install an alternative operating system (that respects my privacy). Surely this can be done on other phones too, but for Pixels there are extensive instructions and you can easily find support if you get stuck.
In case you are not interested in changing the operating system (wrongly, in my opinion!), the biggest advantage of a Pixel is its operating system (surprisingly)! And that's because it's much cleaner compared to others, since it has no bloatware at all. Only Google's own apps and nothing else!
Also, everyone talks about the photos that Pixels take but I don't take photos so I don't know how amazing they are. Additionally (and more importantly) because I installed GrapheneOS, I have deleted Google's own app, which is what makes the difference in photos!

Στα ελαττώματά του συγκαταλλέγονται:
1) Νομίζω ότι είναι πιο βαρύ από αντίστοιχα κινητά. Βέβαια, μπορεί απλά να είναι ιδέα μου, γιατί το συγκρίνω με το Pixel 2 που ήταν πανάλαφρο (και πολύ παλιότερο βεβαίως, βεβαίως)
2) Η μπαταρία του νομίζω ότι θα μπορούσε να κρατάει λίγο περισσότερο. Δεν ξέρω πού οφείλεται αυτό, γιατί το Pixel 2 ήταν φανταστικό ακόμα και μετά από 3 χρόνια καθημερινής χρήσης. Ίσως φταίει το ότι πλέον η Google χρησιμοποιεί δικούς της επεξεργαστές (Tensor) οι οποίοι δεν είναι και τόσο βελτιστοποιημένοι (ακόμα);
3) Η έλλειψη του αισθητήρα πίεσης! Ήταν από τους αγαπημένους μου αισθητήρες στο Pixel 2, γιατί τον χρησιμοποιούσα για να ανάβω τον φακό. Ήταν σαν να είχα κανονικό φακό! Ενώ τώρα, πρέπει να ανοίξω την οθόνη και να πατήσω το εικονίδιο του φακού...
Τα πλεονεκτήματά του είναι πολλά, αλλά όπως είπα και στην αρχή για μένα το βασικό είναι ότι μπορώ εύκολα να βάλω ένα εναλλακτικό λειτουργικό (που σέβεται την ιδιωτικότητά μου). For many years I had Xiaomi phones, the latest being the Redmi Note 10s, and recently I was considering purchasing this phone, but I was troubled by some negative reviews I read here. After having it in my hands for 1.5 months, I want to clarify that it is an excellent phone and anyone who is "thinking about it" should just proceed confidently with the purchase!
At first, I must say that I was taken aback by some differences between the pure Android from Google and the MIUI Android that I was used to with Xiaomi. I might even still believe that 1-2 aspects of MIUI offer better ergonomics. However, these are also matters of habit.
Holding the Google Pixel 7a in your hands, you feel its premium build, and visually I really like it with the screen that fills the panel. In use, it is truly fast and never disappoints. Its photos are simply e-x-c-e-l-l-e-n-t and compared to my previous phones, it's like night and day. Its battery lasts 1-2 days depending on usage, and regarding the charging, which has been discussed a lot, I have to say that I encountered absolutely no problems and it charges quickly, depending on the capabilities of the charger.
Για πολλά χρόνια είχα κινητά Xiaomi με τελευταίο το Redmi Note 10s και τον τελευταίο καιρό σκεφτόμουν την αγορά αυτού του κινητού, αλλά με προβλημάτιζαν κάποιες αρνητικές κριτικές που διάβαζα εδώ. Μετά από 1,5 μήνα που το έχω στα χέρια μου, θέλω να ξεκαθαρίσω οτι πρόκειται για ένα εξαιρετικό κινητό και όποιος "το σκέφτεται" απλά να προχωρήσει άφοβα στην αγορά του!
Στην αρχή πρέπει να πω οτι με ξένισαν κάποιες διαφορές μεταξύ του καθαρού android της Google και του MIUI android που είχα συνηθίσει με την Xiaomi. Ίσως μάλιστα να πιστεύω ακόμη οτι 1-2 πτυχές του MIUI φέρνουν καλύτερη εργονομία. Είναι όμως και θέματα συνήθειας.
Κρατώντας το στα χέρια σου το Google Pixel 7a αισθάνεσαι την premium κατασκευή του αλλά και οπτικά μου αρέσει πολύ με την οθόνη που γεμίζει το πάνελ του. Στη χρήση του είναι πραγματικά γρήγορο και δεν σε απογοητεύει ποτέ. Οι φωτογραφίες του είναι απλά ε-ξαι-ρε-τι-κές και σε σχέση με τα προηγούμενα κινητά μου είναι περίπου σαν τη μέρα με τη νύχτα. Η μπαταρία του κρατά 1-2 μέρες αναλόγως της χρήσης και για τη φόρτιση που γράφονται πολλά, έχω να πω οτι δεν συνάντησα κανένα απολύτως πρόβλημα και φορτίζει γρήγορα , ανάλογα με τις δυνατότητες του φορτιστή.
I think it's a very honest phone with an amazing camera for its price. The battery lasts a day with normal use. If I had to find something negative, it would be a) that it doesn't include a charger, only a cable, and b) the brightness of the screen; I believe it could be a bit stronger in daylight. I'm back after 1 month of use. The phone hasn't frozen even once, it works perfectly, it has an excellent speaker! The only thing that bothers me is the brightness in outdoor sunlight; even in the shade, I put it on full brightness and I'm not that satisfied.

Ωραίο design, κανονικό μέγεθος, δεν κολλάει κατά τη χρήση, πολύ δυνατές κάμερες βγάζει τέλειες φωτογραφίες σε συνδυασμό με το πρόγραμμα επεξεργασίας της google που είναι ήδη εγκατεστημένο είναι απλώς τέλειες! Η μπαταρία κρατάει μιάμιση μέρα περίπου, ανάλογα και τη χρήση. Αρνητικά ζεσταίνεται λίγο η συσκευή αν το χρησιμοποιήσεις λίγο παραπάνω (youtube, netflix, παιχνίδια κτλ) και η ποιότητα κλήσης είναι μέτρια. Τέλος, μην περιμένετε φορτιστή μέσα, μόνο το καλώδιο υπάρχει. Owner of the 7a for about 1.5 months and previously had the 6a, so I will say some things in comparison to the 6a!
The phone is fast with very good photo and software editing (like the 6a and all the pixels).
But the most important thing that I didn't have with the previous phone is the 5g, volte, and vowifi, which now all work perfectly with Nova!
The fingerprint has improved a lot and now it also has face recognition that works correctly (the 6a didn't have).
The only small complaint is the battery that barely lasts a day without games!
So now that companies have solved the issue of services that the pixels used to suffer from in this area, the only issue that remains is the official introduction, which I think will not be delayed and will be resolved.
So for someone who dares to buy it (due to the fear of official service), they will not regret it at all!
Κάτοχος του 7α περίπου 1.5 μήνα και πριν είχα το 6α άρα θα πω κάποια πράγματα συγκριτικά με το 6α!
Το τηλέφωνο γρήγορο με πάρα πολύ καλή φωτογραφία και επεξεργασία από το λογισμικό (όπως και το 6α και όλα τα pixel).
Το σημαντικότερο όμως που δεν είχα με το προηγούμενο κινητό είναι το 5g, το volte και το vowifi που πλέον με nova λειτουργούν όλα άψογα!
Δακτυλικό έχει βελτιωθεί πολύ και πλέον έχει και αναγνώριση προσώπου που λειτουργεί σωστά (το 6α δεν είχε).
Το μόνο μικρό παράπονο είναι η μπαταρία που οριακά βγάζει την ημέρα χωρίς παιχνίδια!
Άρα αφού πια οι εταιρείες έχουν λύσει το θέμα των υπηρεσιών που πριν έπασχαν τα pixel σε αυτόν τον τομέα το μόνο θέμα που μένει ακόμα είναι η επίσημη εισαγωγή που νομίζω δεν θα αργήσει και αυτό να λυθεί..
Άρα για κάποιον που θα τολμήσει να το αγοράσει (λόγω του φόβου του επίσημου service) δεν θα το μετανιώσει με τίποτα!!
I was scared by the comments about the fingerprint. It works fine and always recognizes, just like the face unlock (with good lighting). Με είχαν τρομάξει τα σχόλια σχετικά με το αποτύπωμα. Δουλεύει κανονικά και πιάνει πάντα, όπως και το face unlock (με καλό φωτισμό). . * Ήχος κατά τη διάρκεια της κλήσης. Δεν ξέρω αν έτυχε και πήρα εγώ ελαττωματικό προϊόν, αλλά κατά την διάρκεια της κλήσης, κάποιες φορές, ακούγεται ένας ήχος σαν χτύπημα μέσα στο ακουστικό.
. * Απουσία IR Blaster. Είναι προσωπική παρατήρηση αυτή, μιας και το προηγούμενο κινητό μου το είχε, αλλά εν πάση περιπτώσει, θα μπορούσε να έχει IR Blaster για να μπορείς να χρησιμοποιείς το κινητό και ως τηλεκοντρόλ—μία λειτουργία που έχουν τα περισσότερα Xiaomi και σε πολύ χαμηλότερες τιμές. Όπως ανέφερα, το είχα και βολεύει.

This mobile phone is chosen purely and solely for the camera. The reason is that this camera is not found at all for this money. (and besides the fact that it takes very good photos, Google's processing takes them to another level, making them a different photo from the original) it competes with an equivalent iPhone that costs twice as much. The battery is average. It takes a while to charge but lasts all day. One very annoying thing - the fingerprint sensor. Half the time it doesn't work, otherwise you have to enter a code. On other phones it would unlock before you even touched it properly, this one requires careful clicking and if---- anyone who is passionate and knowledgeable about photography I don't think they will regret it. As for calls, everything is fine for now

The phone is definitely worth 100% of its money, especially if you catch it on sale. It is a flagship quality, with the software and hardware showing exactly that in every aspect you try it. An easy "hack" is to set the screen to 90Hz, it will consume battery but completely changes the navigation. It comes factory set at 60 Hz, but if you try it at 90 you simply won't go back. My only complaint is that the Messenger bubbles don't work, and it's absolutely annoying. I haven't found a solution so far, from what I read online it's a pretty common issue they have since Android 14 came out, so I hope they fix it in the future. Oh, and it supports 5G normally from December 23!
Το κινητό αξίζει 100% τα χρήματά του, ειδικά αν το πετύχετε σε προσφορά. Εϊναι ποιότητας flagship, με το λογισμικο και το hardware να σου δείχνουν ακριβώς αυτό σε κάθε τι το δοκιμάσεις. Ενα εύκολο "hack" είναι να βάλετε την οθόνη στα 90Hz, θα τρώει μπαταρία αλλά αλλάζει εντελώς την πλοήγηση. Εργοστασιακά έρχεται με 60 Hz, αλλα αν το δοκιμάσετε στα 90 απλά δεν γυρίζετε πίσω μετά. Μόνο παράπονο ότι δεν λειτουργούν τα bubbles του Messenger, και είναι απολύτως εκνευριστικό. Δεν έχω βρει λύση ως τώρα, από ό,τι διαβάζω online είναι αρκετά συχνό θέμα που έχουν από όταν βγήκε το Android 14, οπότε ελπίζω στο μέλλον να φτιάξει. Α και υποστηρίζει από το Δεκέμβρη του 23 κανονικά 5G!
One of the top value-for-money smartphones on the market. Honestly, I don't know what the hell is going on and why Google doesn't have actual support in Greece (probably some exclusive agreement with Samsung or Xiaomi), but thank god we can order it through Skroutz. A smartphone that easily competes with others worth €1000+. It simply rocks!

Ειλικρίνα δεν γνωρίζω τι στο καλό συμβαίνει και δεν έχει actual support η Google στην Ελλάδα (λογικά κάποια exclusive συμφωνία με Samsung ή Xiaomi), αλλά δόξα τον θεό μπορούμε να το παραγγέλνουμε μέσω του Skroutz. Ένα smartphone που άνετα κοντραρεται με άλλα αξίας 1000€+. Απλά τα σπάει !!!
It was critically important for me to have 2 SIM cards. I planned to use the first one as a physical one and the second one as an eSIM. But the sim card just couldn't activate. There are quite a few topics in Google on the topic that they cannot connect eSim card to a Google pixel. I tried all the solutions and nothing worked for me (manual input of course I tried). This was important to me, so keep in mind that there may be problems with eSIM
As the owner of Nexus 5X and Pixel 4a, I declare myself very satisfied with the Pixel mobiles. I have experienced very few problems in almost 7 years, and with the 4a, I haven't had any. Naturally, my next choice was the Pixel 7a, which was purchased from abroad.
The Android version it has (14) is very close to the one that the 4a had (13), which for me was super familiar, as well as the transfer of applications from one phone to another, which was very fast and easy. In terms of size, it is considerably larger and heavier (193.5 g compared to 143 g). However, it has a much better screen, much better - and tangible - build quality, better sound - including HD Voice support in calls (indicated), always recognized fingerprint (the 4a had an issue), 5G (see image), and a normal battery that lasts over a day with normal usage (not gaming).
These are my observations after two weeks of use. At €400, I believe it is a good choice for stock Android with updates and support, and the - classically - top-notch camera in this price range. It also has a nice appearance in this series.
Ως κάτοχος Nexus 5X και Pixel 4a δηλώνω πολύ ευχαριστημένος με τα Pixel κινητά. 7 σχεδόν χρόνια αντιμετώπισα ελάχιστα προβλήματα, με το 4a μάλιστα κανένα. Η επόμενη επιλογή μου ήταν λογικά το Pixel 7a, το οποίο αγοράστηκε από εξωτερικό.
Η έκδοση του Android που έχει (14) είναι πολύ κοντά σε εκείνη που είχε φτάσει να έχει το 4a (13), κάτι που για εμένα ήταν σούπερ οικείο, όπως και η μεταφορά εφαρμογών από το ένα τηλέφωνο στο άλλο που ήταν πολύ γρήγορη και εύκολη. Σαν μέγεθος είναι αρκετά μεγαλύτερο και βαρύτερο (193.5 γρ έναντι 143 γρ). Έχει όμως πολύ καλύτερη οθόνη, πολύ καλύτερη – και απτή – ποιότητα κατασκευής, καλύτερο ήχο – και στη συνομιλία όπου υποστηρίζεται HD Voice (βγαίνει σχετική ένδειξη), αποτύπωμα που αναγνωρίζεται πάντα (το 4a είχε θέμα), 5g (δείτε την εικόνα), νορμάλ μπαταρία άνω της μίας ημέρας με νορμάλ χρήση (όχι gaming).
Αυτά προς το παρόν μετά από δύο εβδομάδες χρήσης. Στα 400€ νομίζω πως είναι μια καλή επιλογή για stock android με αναβαθμίσεις και υποστήριξη, την - κλασσικά - κορυφαία κάμερα σε αυτή την κατηγορία τιμής. Σε αυτή τη σειρά έχει και ωραία εμφάνιση.
Unfortunately, I have a problem with the android. Since July 2023, when I bought it, I have a problem with the Bluetooth. Δυστυχως εχω προβλημα με το android. απο τον Ιουλιο 2023 που το πηρα εχω προβλημα με το bluetooth . δεν ακουγεται ο ηχος τερματισμου της κλησης απο τα hands free και στο αμαξι δεν εντοπιζει πλεον το προγραμμα που ακουγα μουσικη . Απο οτι ειδα παρομοιο προβλημα εχουν κι αλλοι χρηστες . Τελικα φτιαχνπουν κατι και χαλανε κατι αλλο
Starting with my previous phone, it was the Redmi Note 8, which was a cheap phone that costs less than 200 euros. It broke and I had to quickly change my phone because I didn't have any other spare to use. I ended up with the Pixel 7a on the advice of a friend because it is a relatively small phone, which suits me, and it has an incredible camera and software. All of this is true and more, the software is awesome, fast, and simple, and the camera is amazing (sometimes when there is poor lighting and you take a photo, it looks like you have applied a filter, something that I only encounter in the selfie camera, but this happens because it uses a lot of AI to capture the best possible photos, which is not a bad thing but keep it in mind). The size of the phone is convenient for me because I have small hands and I don't like holding a huge phone. The screen displays nice colors and is smooth with the 90Hz refresh rate. The phone's speaker is very nice, but not as loud. At first, the sound seemed strange to me, but then I got used to it and realized that it produces vibrant and clear sound with bass. It is worth mentioning that the screen brightness is not that good, in sunlight, you have to set it to the maximum in specific cases, but it's not a big issue.
You should know that the only downside to Pixel phones is that it is difficult to find spare parts in Greece. It is impossible for me to find anything for my phone (case and screen protector) here. Also, there is no WiFi calling, which doesn't bother me personally, but there are people who need it (nor 5G). One last thing, the battery will last you a day for everyday use like social media browsing, music, and light gaming.
My advice is for those who are not in a hurry to wait and see at what price the Pixel 8 will reach or in case the 8a is released, consider getting those. Otherwise, look for the Pixel 7a and iPhone, in my opinion, these two companies produce the best phones (there are some exceptions with Samsung)
Ξεκινώντας το προηγούμενο κινητό μου ήταν το Redmi note 8 το συγκεκριμένο ήταν ένα φθηνό κινητό που κάνει κάτω από 200 ευρώ. Έσπασε και έπρεπε γρήγορα να αλλάξω κινητό γιατί δνε είχα κάποιο άλλο πρόχειρο να χρησιμοποιήσω. Κατέληξα στο pixel 7a με συμβουλή φίλου διότι είναι σχετικά ένα μικρό τηλέφωνο κάτι που με βολεύει και έχει απίστευτη κάμερα και λογισμικό. Αυτα ισχύουν και με το παραπάνω το λογισμικό είναι φοβερό, γρήγορο και απλό η κάμερα είναι απίστευτη ( μερικές φορές όταν έχει χαλιά φωτισμό και τραβάς φωτογραφία φαίνεται σαν να έχεις βάλει φίλτρο κάτι που συναντάω μόνο στην σελφι κάμερα αλλά αυτό συμβαίνει γιατί χρησιμοποιεί πολύ ai τι τηλέφωνο για την καλύτερη δυνατή λήψη φωτογραφιών δνε είναι κάτι κακό αλλά να το έχετε στο νου σας). Το μέγεθος του τηλεφώνου με βολεύει γιατί έχω μικρά χέρια και δνε μου αρέσει να κρατάω τεράστιο τηλέφωνο. Η οθόνη βγάζει ωραία χρώματα και είναι smooth με τα 90hrz. το ηχείο του τηλεφώνου είναι πολύ ωραίο αλλά όχι τόσο δυνατό στην αρχή μου φαινόταν περίεργος ο ήχος αλλά μετά το συνήθισα και κατάλαβα πως βγάζει ζωντανό και καθαρό ήχο με μπάσο. Αξίζει να αναφέρω πως η φωτεινότητα της οθόνης δεν είναι τόσο καλή, με ήλιο πρέπει να την βάλεις στο φυλλ σε συγκεκριμένες περιπτώσεις αλλά δνε είναι κάτι κακό
Πρέπει να σας είναι γνωστό πως το μόνο αρνητικό σε πίξελ τηλέφωνα είναι ότι δύσκολα θα βρεις ανταλλακτικά στην Ελλάδα , είναι ακατόρθωτο σε εμένα ότι έχω πάνω στο τηλέφωνο ( θήκη και τζαμακι ) είναι αγοράσαμενα από εδώ. επίσης wifi calling δνε υπάρχει δνε με πειράζει εμένα προσωπικά αλλά υπάρχουν άτομα που το χρειάζονται ( ούτε 5g) . κάτι τελευταίο η μπαταρία θα σου βγάλει την ημέρα για καθημερινή χρήση social media browsing μουσική και κανένα ελαφρό παιχνίδι
Η συμβουλή μου είναι όσοι δνε βιάζεστε να περιμένετε να δείτε σε τι τιμή θα φτάσει το πίξελ 8 η σε περίπτωση που βγεί 8a να πάρετε αυτά αλλιώς κοιτάξτε για πίξελ 7α και iphone και την άποψη μου αυτές οι δυο εταιρείες βγάζουν τα καλύτερα τηλεφώνα ( υπάρχουν και κάποιες εξαιρέσεις σε Samsung )
The only problem I encountered was that in calls longer than 10 minutes, the sound quality deteriorated to the point where you had to hang up. With the installation of pixel ims and the activation of volte and vowifi, it is flawless. My battery lasts 2 days with several calls and about 4 hours of surfing/social media per day. The size is fine, although personally I would prefer it to be slightly smaller. The quality is great and what I like is that you can feel the buttons when pressed.
Το μόνο πρόβλημα που αντιμετώπισα ήταν ότι σε κλήσεις μεγαλύτερες των 10min χαλούσε πολύ η ποιότητα του ήχου σε βαθμό που έπρεπε να κλείσεις. Με την εγκατάσταση του pixel ims και την ενεργοποίηση του volte και vowifi είναι άψογο. Η μπαταρία μου κρατάει 2 μέρες με αρκετές κλήσεις και κάνα 4ωρο ανά ημέρα σερφαρισμα/social. Το μέγεθος είναι μια χαρά αν και προσωπικά θα το ήθελα ένα κλικ μικρότερο. Ποιοτικά είναι μια χαρά και αυτό που μου αρέσει είναι ότι τα κουμπιά τα νιώθεις όταν πατιουνται.
Only flaw is that it does mirroring ONLY through Chromecast. Practically, you can't do mirroring almost anywhere else. Other than that, it is the best value for money in the mid-range category for 2023.

I have had the phone for 3 months now and I am quite satisfied. It has not experienced a single lag. The overheating issue that was mentioned for the 7 series disappeared after the first update, at least in the 7a. You can handle it quickly without any freezing and the device stays cool. Clean Android software from the mother company without any ads popping up on the screen like in other brands.
- AMAZING camera that you can't find in many more expensive phones. It takes beautiful photos and in low light conditions, which is not easily found. The video is decent without being shaky, better than the previous model 6a.
- Flexible software with an "intelligent" AI processor that specializes in AI. You can communicate with the device hands-free. Hopefully, Google will add Greek language FINALLY in some update.
- Only 4G signal for now in Greece for the pixels, but I don't care at all since it is crystal clear and works everywhere.
- The battery is average but not bad as the software helps it. It lasts a day of use without any worries. The downside is that it doesn't charge quickly, but you always lose something if you don't spend 1000 euros.
- The size of 6.1 inches is ideal for me, as everything else seems like slippers.
- The speakers are decent. The microphone performs well in sound recordings.
Tο κινητο το εχω ηδη 3 μήνες και εχω μεινει αρκετά ευχαριστημένος. Δεν εχει φαει κυριολεκτικα ΟΥΤΕ 1 κόλλημα. Υπερθέρμανση που χε αναφερθει για τη σειρα 7, εξαφανιστηκε μετα το 1ο update, τουλαχιστον στο 7a. Μπορεις να το χειρίζεσαι γρήγορα χωρίς σκαλώματα και η συσκευη μένει κρύα. Καθαρό λογισμικό Android απ την μαμά εταιρεία χωρίς διαφημίσεις που θα πεταγοταν στην οθόνη σε άλλες μάρκες.
- ΤΟΥΜΠΑΝΗ κάμερα που δε βρίσκεις αντίστοιχη σε πολλα πιο ακριβά κινητά. Δίνει όμορφες φωτογραφιες και σε συνθήκες χαμηλού φωτισμου κατι που δε βρίσκεις εύκολα. Το βίντεο αξιοπρεπέστατο χωρίς να ζαλίζει, καλύτερο απ το προηγουμενο μοντελο 6a.
-Ευέλικτο λογισμικό με "εξυπνο" επεξεργαστη ΑΙ που ειδικεύεται στο AΙ. Μπορείς να επικοινωνείς με τη συσκευή χωρίς χέρια. Μακάρι κάποια στιγμη η Google να βαλει και Ελληνική γλώσσα ΕΠΙΤΕΛΟΥΣ σε κάποιο update.
-Σήμα μονο 4G προς το παρων στην Ελλαδα για τα pixel αλλα δε με νοιάζει καθόλου αφου ειναι πεντακάθαρο και πιάνει παντού.
-Μπαταρία έχει μέτρια αλλα όχι κακή καθώς το λογισμικό τη βοηθάει . 1 μέρα να το λιώνεις σε χρήση στη βγάζει χωρίς αγχος Το κακό είναι οτι δε φορτίζει γρήγορα αλλα πάντα κατι χάνεις αν δε δώσεις 1000 ευρώ.
-Το μεγεθος 6.1 ιντσες για μένα ειναι ιδανικό, αφου όλα τα βγάζουν παντοφλες.
-Τα ηχεία οκ τίμια. Μικρόφωνο καλό στην απόδοση ήχου στις ηχογραφήσεις.
In Greece, WiFi calling does not work out of the box, it needs to be enabled with separate apps. Look for shizuku, pixel ims, and cosmote to see the process. Where I live, I have a big problem with the signal, so I use WiFi calling a lot, and until I manage to get it working again, I suffer. The battery, without playing games and with simple browsing and a few videos and music, lasts me a day and something. Overall, compared to the poco x3 pro that I had, for the simple usage I do, I feel like it was better and it's a phone that is 2-3 years older. If I had researched it better, I probably wouldn't buy it again. The fingerprint sensor works 1 out of 2 times. I have scanned my finger 4 times for it to be reliable. In terms of photos, videos, speed, and screen, it is flawless. P.S: The stock Android without the unnecessary apps of the respective manufacturer like Mi, Samsung, etc. is invaluable.
Στην Ελλάδα δεν λειτουργεί το WiFi calling από τη μαμά του, πρέπει να ενεργοποιηθεί με ξεχωριστά apps. Ψάξτε για shizuku, pixel ims και cosmote για να δείτε τη διαδικασία. Εδώ που μένω έχω μεγάλο πρόβλημα με το σήμα οπότε χρησιμοποιώ το wifi calling πάρα πολύ και μέχρι να καταφέρω να ξαναδουλέψει δεινοπάθησα.
Η μπαταρία του χωρίς να παιζω παιχνίδια και με απλή χρήση browsing και λίγα βίντεο και μουσική μου βγάζει μία μέρα και κάτι. Γενικά το poco x3 pro που είχα, για την απλή χρήση που κάνω νίωθω ότι ήταν καλύτερο και είναι τηλέφωνο 2-3 χρόνων παλιότερο. Αν το έιχα ψάξει καλύτερα, μάλλον δε θα το ξανααγόραζα.
Ο fingerprint sensor δουλεύει 1 στις 2. Έχω περάσει το δάχτυλο μου 4 φορές για να είναι αξιόπιστο.
Σε φώτος, βίντεο, ταχύτητα, οθόνη είναι άψογο.
Υ.Γ: Αξία ανεκτίμητη το stock android χωρίς τα ανούσια apps του εκάστοτε κατασκευαστή όπως Mi, Samsung κλπ κλπ.
The mobile phone is good if you know what you're getting beforehand. For better or worse, in such mid-range phones there is no longer one that has it all, you lose something somewhere and gain something somewhere else. Its main advantage is its operating system, clean android, which is incredible compared to other loaded ones like Xiaomi. The charging speed is relatively slow and its battery is average. Its screen is good but it has large bezels and personally, they are a bit annoying. The fingerprint sensor is irritating. 5G doesn't work yet but now there is Volte normally. Its speaker is stereo, quite loud and satisfactory. Its camera is very good, especially if you explore the options it gives you. The main problem for me is its price and the small difference it has with the Pixel 7. If it was priced around 400 euros, it would be a very good choice.
Το κινητό είναι καλό αν γνωρίζεις τι παίρνεις απο πριν. Καλώς η κακώς σε τέτοια midrange κινητά πλέον δεν υπάρχει κάποιο που να τα έχει όλα, κάπου χάνεις κάπου κερδίζεις. Το βασικό του πλεονέκτημα είναι το λειτουργικό του, καθαρό android, το οποίο είναι απίστευτο σε σχέση με άλλα φορτωμένα πχ xiaomi. Η ταχύτητα φόρτισης είναι σχετικά αργή και η μπαταρία του μέτρια. Η οθόνη του είναι καλή αλλα έχει μεγάλα bezels και προσωπικά είναι λίγο ενοχλητικά. Το δαχτυλικό αποτύπωμα είναι εκνευριστικό. Το 5g δεν δουλεύει ακόμα αλλα πλέον υπάρχει το Volte κανονικά. Το ηχείο του είναι στέρεο αρκετά δυνατό και ικανοποιητικό. Η κάμερα του είναι πολύ καλή ειδικά αν ψαχτείς λίγο με τις επιλογές που σου δίνει. Το βασικό πρόβλημα για μένα είναι η τιμή του και η μικρή διαφορά που έχει με το pixel 7. Αν έπαιζε γύρω στα 400 ευρώ θα ήταν μία πάρα πολύ καλή επιλογή.
Only negative is the battery, which is not tragic. With moderate use, it lasts over a day.

I got it to replace my old Pixel 2, which I was super satisfied with! The main reason I chose Pixel is that I can easily install another operating system. More specifically, I installed GrapheneOS, which has been working perfectly for the 5 months I've had it.
Its drawbacks include:
1) I think it is heavier than similar phones. Of course, it might just be my impression, because I'm comparing it to the Pixel 2 which was super light (and much older, of course, of course).
2) I think its battery could last a bit longer. I don't know why this is, because the Pixel 2 was fantastic even after 3 years of daily use. Maybe it's because Google now uses its own processors (Tensor) which are not so optimized (yet)?
3) The lack of the pressure sensor! It was one of my favorite sensors on the Pixel 2, because I used it to turn on the flashlight. It was like having a real flashlight! Whereas now, I have to turn on the screen and tap the flashlight icon...
Its advantages are many, but as I said at the beginning, for me the main thing is that I can easily install an alternative operating system (that respects my privacy). Surely this can be done on other phones too, but for Pixels there are extensive instructions and you can easily find support if you get stuck.
In case you are not interested in changing the operating system (wrongly, in my opinion!), the biggest advantage of a Pixel is its operating system (surprisingly)! And that's because it's much cleaner compared to others, since it has no bloatware at all. Only Google's own apps and nothing else!
Also, everyone talks about the photos that Pixels take but I don't take photos so I don't know how amazing they are. Additionally (and more importantly) because I installed GrapheneOS, I have deleted Google's own app, which is what makes the difference in photos!
Το πήρα για να αντικαταστήσω το παλιό μου Pixel 2, από το οποίο ήμουν υπερ-ευχαριστημένος! Ο βασικός λόγος που επέλεξα Pixel είναι ότι μπορώ εύκολα να εγκαταστήσω άλλο λειτουργικό. Πιο συγκεκριμένα εγκατέστησα το GrapheneOS το οποίο δουλεύει τέλεια τους 5 μήνες που το έχω.
Στα ελαττώματά του συγκαταλλέγονται:
1) Νομίζω ότι είναι πιο βαρύ από αντίστοιχα κινητά. Βέβαια, μπορεί απλά να είναι ιδέα μου, γιατί το συγκρίνω με το Pixel 2 που ήταν πανάλαφρο (και πολύ παλιότερο βεβαίως, βεβαίως)
2) Η μπαταρία του νομίζω ότι θα μπορούσε να κρατάει λίγο περισσότερο. Δεν ξέρω πού οφείλεται αυτό, γιατί το Pixel 2 ήταν φανταστικό ακόμα και μετά από 3 χρόνια καθημερινής χρήσης. Ίσως φταίει το ότι πλέον η Google χρησιμοποιεί δικούς της επεξεργαστές (Tensor) οι οποίοι δεν είναι και τόσο βελτιστοποιημένοι (ακόμα);
3) Η έλλειψη του αισθητήρα πίεσης! Ήταν από τους αγαπημένους μου αισθητήρες στο Pixel 2, γιατί τον χρησιμοποιούσα για να ανάβω τον φακό. Ήταν σαν να είχα κανονικό φακό! Ενώ τώρα, πρέπει να ανοίξω την οθόνη και να πατήσω το εικονίδιο του φακού...
Τα πλεονεκτήματά του είναι πολλά, αλλά όπως είπα και στην αρχή για μένα το βασικό είναι ότι μπορώ εύκολα να βάλω ένα εναλλακτικό λειτουργικό (που σέβεται την ιδιωτικότητά μου). Σίγουρα γίνεται και σε άλλα κινητά, αλλά για τα Pixel υπάρχουν εκτενείς οδηγίες και βρίσκεις εύκολα υποστήριξη αν κολλήσεις.
Σε περίπτωση που δεν σας ενδιαφέρει να αλλάξετε λειτουργικό σύστημα (κακώς, κατά την γνώμη μου!), το μεγαλύτερο πλεονέκτημα ενός Pixel είναι το λειτουργικό του (παραδόξως)! Κι αυτό γιατί είναι πολύ πιο καθαρό σε σχέση με άλλα, αφού δεν έχει καθόλου bloatware. Μόνο οι εφαρμογές της μαμάς Google και τίποτα άλλο!
Επίσης, όλοι λένε για τις φωτογραφίες που βγάζουν τα Pixel αλλά δεν βγάζω φωτογραφίες οπότε δεν ξέρω πόσο φοβερές είναι. Επιπλέον (και πιο σημαντικό) επειδή έχω βάλει το GrapheneOS, έχω σβήσει την εφαρμογή της μαμάς Google, η οποία και κάνει την διαφορά στις φωτογραφίες!
I bought it only for the camera and I was absolutely satisfied. At 330, which is what I paid for it, I think it was the best choice.
Το πήρα μόνο για την κάμερα κ έμεινα απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος.Στα 330 που το είχα πάρει νομίζω ήταν η καλύτερη επιλογή.
Many times it doesn't get a signal, resulting in people calling you and your phone not ringing. We're talking about a problem where about 1 in 3 calls don't go through. Also, its UI is not the best, I prefer Samsung's. Good photos as expected from Pixel, but it's not night and day compared to other phones (this is more because others have improved, not because Pixel has gotten worse).
Update: 1 in 3 are the calls that actually go through, it's ridiculous. If a phone doesn't have signal, it's useless.
Πολες φορες δεν πιανει σημα με αποτελεσμα να σε καλουνε και να μην χτυπαει. Μιλαμε για προβλημα που μπορει να παρουσιαζεται με συχνοτητα 1 στις 3 κλησεις να μην περναει. Επισης το UI του δεν ειναι το καλυτερο, προτιμω της samsung. Καλες φωτογραφιες οπως περιμενουμε απο pixel, χωρις ομως να ειναι μερα νυχτα με τα αλλα κινητα ( αυτο εχει να κανει περισσοτερο οτι οι υπολοιποι εχουν ανεβει οχι οτι εχει πεσει το pixel ).
Update: 1 στις 3 είναι οι κλήσεις που πιάνουν έλεος. Εάν ένα κινητό δεν έχει σήμα είναι άχρηστο.
Brand new in the box and now with an extra 2 years of support from Google for just over 300 euros. Hard to beat.
I have had the phone for three months, before I had a Xiaomi and I was not satisfied. I got this specific phone for its camera. Indeed, I am very satisfied in this regard. The only reason I give it four stars is that it is difficult to find spare parts and accessories. The protective film and case were sourced from Skroutz, I couldn't find them in any physical store! But the worst part is that it fell and the screen broke. You can't find imitation screens and affordable solutions, and almost everyone refuses to take it! I found one chain that accepts it and the cost is 150 euros! So I don't know if I would recommend you to buy it.
Το έχω τρεις μήνες το κινητό,πριν είχα xiaomi και δεν ήμουν ευχαριστημένη.Πηρα το συγκεκριμένο κινητό για την κάμερα του.Οντως είμαι πολύ ικανοποιημένη σ αυτό το θέμα.ο μόνος λόγος που βάζω τέσσερα αστέρια είναι για το ότι είναι δύσκολο στα ανταλλακτικά και τα αξεσουάρ.
μεμβράνη προστασίας και θήκη προμηθεύτηκαν από skroutz,δεν έβρισκα σε κανένα φυσικό κατάστημα!αλλά το χειρότερο είναι ότι μου έπεσε και έσπασε η οθόνη .δεν βρίσκεις ιμιτασιον οθόνες και οικονομικές λύσεις και σχεδόν όλοι δεν αναλαμβάνουν!μια αλυσίδα βρήκα που αναλαμβάνει και το κόστος είναι στα 150 ευρώ!
οπότε δεν ξέρω αν θα σας πρότεινα να το αγοράσετε.
