    I bought it with the idea that it was the only single-piece adapter that doesn't have a cable between the usb and ethernet because the cats break it or it breaks with heavy use.. Unfortunately, while I tried it on 3 different PCs with proper ethernet cat 5e and usb 3 type c, the internal converter gives a speed of 100Mbps and on ookla speedtest I reach up to 80-90Mbps while with other adapters with power I reach 1Gbps network speed and 300Mbps which is my internet speed. Unfortunately, the 1000Mbps is misleading so I will return it because the wifi is faster than the 80-90 it reaches with this
