These scattered texts, which have challenged me in their formulation –due to my inherent shortcomings– were written on the occasion of an event or some anniversary. Some were originally published in daily and periodical press, others were featured in commemorative volumes or exhibition catalogs, and some were presented as papers at conferences.

If there is anything that justifies their retrospective collective presentation in the cohesive body of a book, it is the existence of a common experiential substrate: All arise from the urgent impulse to honor some of my most significant contemporary fellow artists.

Brief in length, without any particular theoretical or interpretative claims, I would say that these texts are more gestures, greetings, confessions of love and gratitude towards them and their work.
