This is a classic Velcro adhesive roll, and its usefulness is mainly in crafts, organization, and securing lightweight items. I cut off as much as I need, stick the two pieces onto the surfaces, and then I can open and close them again without needing screws, holes, or permanent glue. That makes it especially practical for cables, small accessories, boxes, tools, and generally items that I want to be able to remove easily.
The main thing to watch out for is that the strength of the Velcro and the strength of the adhesive are two different things. The Velcro may hold very well, but if the adhesive backing has not stuck properly to the surface, the whole system will come off together. It needs a clean, dry, and relatively smooth surface, and good pressure during application. Also, for greater weight, I would not treat it as a substitute for screws or industrial fastening.
So, for anyone looking for a cheap and reusable way to secure or organize lightweight items, it is very useful. But if the goal is to hang something heavy or use it on a rough, dusty, wet, or problematic surface, I would look from the start for a more suitable type of Velcro or a different fastening system. The trick here is to choose the right Velcro for the job — not to ask a little roll to become… construction material.

Το βασικό που πρέπει να προσέξει κάποιος είναι ότι η δύναμη του Velcro και η δύναμη της κόλλας είναι δύο διαφορετικά πράγματα. Μπορεί το Velcro να κρατάει πολύ καλά, αλλά αν η αυτοκόλλητη βάση δεν έχει κολλήσει σωστά στην επιφάνεια, όλο το σύστημα θα φύγει μαζί. Θέλει καθαρή, στεγνή και σχετικά λεία επιφάνεια και καλό πάτημα κατά την εφαρμογή. Επίσης, για μεγαλύτερο βάρος δεν θα το αντιμετώπιζα σαν υποκατάστατο βίδας ή βιομηχανικής στερέωσης.
Άρα, για όποιον ψάχνει ένα φτηνό και επαναχρησιμοποιούμενο τρόπο να στερεώνει ή να οργανώνει ελαφριά αντικείμενα, είναι πολύ χρήσιμο. Αν όμως ο στόχος είναι να κρεμάσω κάτι βαρύ ή να το βάλω σε τραχιά, σκονισμένη, υγρή ή προβληματική επιφάνεια, θα κοιτούσα εξαρχής πιο κατάλληλο τύπο Velcro ή διαφορετικό σύστημα στερέωσης. Εδώ το κόλπο είναι να διαλέξω το σωστό Velcro για τη δουλειά — όχι να ζητήσω από ένα ρολάκι να γίνει… οικοδομικό υλικό.
