The North American Jerry Drake, or Mister No, is a fictional character from Italian comics created in 1975. He experienced many adventures throughout World War II, where he fought as a soldier, pilot, and member of American intelligence services in various locations. He was ultimately named Mister No by his comrades and opponents due to his pride and stubborn refusal to submit to orders.
In early 1945, he was repatriated. He crossed the USA and, tired of the mistakes of war, disgusted by the violence of the Western world, and completely unable to adapt to a normal life in his homeland, decided to settle in Manaus, Brazil, to live life on his own terms, in a place that some people call the last frontier of civilization.
