  • 3.5 stars because you can only do the job on the front ones; on the rear ones you’ll struggle quite a bit to get them straight so you can install them properly, and you still won’t manage it. Better to put 20–30 large zip ties on the rear to compress it by 5 cm so it can pass through; then you’ll easily get the job done!

    It's just fine.
They will give you trouble when the springs are very close with three coils.
Other than that, for their price, they're good.

  • Very good tool but it requires attention and it's better if the shock absorber is held in a vise. The length is quite large for the average car.

For straight springs, it will work better than conical ones, because in conical springs it may find itself at the caps of the springs - dampers. During compression, it deforms the spring by pulling it and resting against the hook.
