Review this product
  • The grips were purchased in 2021 for €25 from a bike shop and were installed there. Overall, they are extremely comfortable with a very good feel, but they wear out extremely easily.

    → In detail:

    Positives:
    • Excellent feel in the hand and very comfortable.
    • The hand does not slip easily.
    • They do not move on the handlebar at all, thanks to the lock they have (the screw requires a torx T10).

    Negatives:
    • The top part of the grip (which is also the first to wear out as it is the first point of contact with the hand), lost its embossed rubber surface within 2 years with moderate use.
    • The end of the grip in these 2 years came off completely (maybe it was scraped somewhere) and the bar end cap underneath the grip did not protect the handlebar, resulting in the handlebar being scratched.
    • Removing the bar end caps, it was evident that the construction for holding the cap is very easy to wear out and may not hold well over time. There were no such issues, but it is likely to happen.

    → Conclusion:
If we evaluate the grips regardless of the price, they are very good in terms of feel in the hand and do not slip at all. However, when their lifespan is 2 years and they cost €25, the price-to-quality ratio seems to be very low to be worth the money. One can easily find a good pair of grips for €10 - €15.
