It burns whatever wood it is. When it burns well, it burns everything, regardless of the wood's moisture. I have burned olive, oak, carob, pine cones, and some lemon-orange trees that we got rid of from the estate. However, be careful: with pine, the flue will soon need unclogging/cleaning.

After one year of use (October 2020), with a purchase at 218 euros, let me tell you my observations as detailed as possible. I know that each case is different and has different parameters, so the conclusions are up to you, depending on the area, the property, and your needs. I emphasize that I am not an expert or knowledgeable about the subject and that besides transportation, stove installation, and chimneys, I did everything myself:
1. The stove was installed in the living room on the first floor of a 1970 property in Arcadia, about 85 m2, with simple walls and wooden frames, open from all sides. Above there is a terrace with visible concrete (slab), not a tiled roof, no insulation.
2. I continued the 13-inch outlet (with a damper) with a 15-inch chimney (expansion). 2 meters rise internally, angle outward, 5 meters horizontal with a slight upward slope, and then 1.5 meters rise and an H-type cap.
3. When I received it, I "burned" it for two hours continuously at 350+ degrees (oven thermometer) with ALL the windows of the house open, for the initial strong smells from the paint. Since then, no suspicious smells.
4. It lights up very easily with the damper and the ash drawer's air vent open.
5. It burns perfectly with the damper and the ash drawer's air vent closed, economically and at a temperature (oven thermometer) around 150 to 220 degrees. It doesn't smoke, and there are no smells in the room except for minimal food smells when a tray is placed in the oven.
6. For the period from 6:00 PM to about 1:00 AM, it requires about 15 kilograms of wood. During this time, with the internal doors of the two bedrooms open, the bedrooms are heated normally, and in the living room, you get very warm. You go to sleep and don't get cold by changing clothes. I am referring to a living room of about 40m2 and bedrooms after a corridor of about 3m in length.
7. Whenever a tray is placed in the oven, the result is wonderful.
8. Finally, I would give it a 5-star rating if it had a 12-inch flue and I didn't have to make the 13-inch one it has into a 15-inch one. To anticipate your question, I didn't make the 13-inch into a 12-inch because "experts" told me that with contraction, you risk not having a good exhaust of the combustion gases and having smoke inside the house. I couldn't find 13-inch chimneys on the market to avoid going through the process of contraction-expansion. 12-inch and 15-inch chimneys are available.

Καίει πολύ καλά ό,τι ξύλο νά 'ναι. Όταν κάψει καλά, καίει τα πάντα, ανεξαρτήτως υγρασίας του ξύλου. Έχω κάψει ελιά, οξυά, χαρουπιά, πουρνάρια και κάτι λεμονιές-πορτοκαλιές που ξεφορτωθήκαμε από το κτήμα. Προσοχή όμως: με πεύκο, πολύ σύντομα θα θέλουν ξεμπούκωμα/ξεκάπνισμα/καθάρισμα τα μπουριά.

Μετά από ένα και πλέον χρόνο χρήσης (Οκτώβριος 2020), με αγορά στα 218 ευρώ, να σας πω τις δικές μου παρατηρήσεις, όσο πιο αναλυτικά μπορώ. Ξέρω ότι κάθε περίπτωση είναι διαφορετική και με διαφορετικές παραμέτρους, οπότε τα συμπεράσματα δικά σας, ανάλογα με την περιοχή, το ακίνητο και τις ανάγκες σας. Τονίζω πως δεν είμαι ειδικός ή γνώστης του αντικειμένου και πως πλην της μεταφοράς, εγκατάσταση σόμπας και μπουριών έκανα μόνος μου:
1. Η σόμπα τοποθετήθηκε στο σαλόνι σε 1ο όροφο ακινήτου του 1970 στην Αρκαδία, περί τα 85 m2, με απλούς τοίχους και ξύλινα κουφώματα, πανταχόθεν ελεύθερο. Από πανω υπαρχει ταρατσα με εμφανες μπετό (πλάκα), όχι κεραμοσκεπή, όχι μόνωση.
2. Την 13άρα έξοδο (με κλαπέτο) τη συνέχισα με 15άρι μπουρί (διαστολή). 2μέτρα άνοδος εσωτερικά, γωνία προς τα έξω, 5 μέτρα οριζόντιο με ελαφρά ανοδική κλίση και κατόπιν 1,5 μέτρα μπουρί άνοδος και φλάρος τύπου Η.
3. Όταν την παρέλαβα την "μπουμπούνισα" για ένα δίωρο συνεχώς στους 350+ βαθμούς (θερμόμετρο φούρνου) μέ ΟΛΑ τα κουφώματα του σπιτιού ανοιχτά, για τις αρχικές επικίνδυνες οσμές από τη βαφή. Έκτοτε καμμία ύποπτη οσμή.
4. Με το κλαπέτο και τον αεραγωγό του συρταριού στάχτης ανοιχτά, ανάβει πανεύκολα.
5. Με το κλαπέτο και τον αεραγωγό του συρταριού στάχτης κλειστά, καίει μιά χαρά, οικονομικά και με θερμοκρασία (θερμόμετρο φούρνου) περί τους 150 με 220 βαθμούς. Δεν καπνίζει, δεν υπάρχουν οσμές στο χώρο πλην ελαχίστων του φαγητού, όταν μπαίνει ταψί στο φούρνο της.
6. Για το διάστημα ωρών 18.00 έως περίπου 01.00 τη νύχτα, χρειάζεται περί τα 15 κιλά ξύλα. Στο διάστημα αυτό και με ανοιχτές τις εσωτερικές πόρτες των δύο υπνοδωματίων, ζεσταίνονται κανονικά και τα υπνοδωμάτια ενώ στο σαλόνι ζεσταίνεσαι πολύ. Πάς για ύπνο και δεν κρυώνεις αλλάζοντας ρούχα. Αναφέρομαι σε σαλόνι ~40m2 και υπνοδωμάτια μετά από διάδρομο μήκους ~3m.
7. Όποτε μπει ταψί στο φούρνο της, το αποτέλεσμα είναι υπέροχο.
8. Τέλος, το 5ο αστέρι θα το έβαζα εάν είχε εξαγωγή 12άρα και δεν αναγκαζόμουν να κάνω τη 13άρα που έχει σε 15. Για να προλάβω σχετική απορία σας, δεν έκανα την 13άρα σε 12, διότι μου είπαν "ειδικοί" ότι με τη συστολή κινδυνεύεις να μην έχεις καλή έξοδο των καυσαερίων και να έχεις καπνούς μέσα στο σπίτι. 13άρια μπουριά δεν βρήκα στην αγορά ώστε να μην μπω σε διαδικασία συστολών-διαστολών. 12άρια και 15άρια κυκλοφορούν.
