Description

Description

Olive harvester with 22 rods (7 double and 2 quadruple) 10 centimeters friendly to the olive and the fruit.

It features an aluminum tube with a 7mm shaft (drive shaft) made of stainless steel and anti-vibration rings made of rubber and ertalon.

Motor

  • Electric DC 200W with induction-painted metal gear delivering 2000 rpm (revolutions per minute) at 14V.
  • With a 35A on-off switch and reducer converting its motion to pulsating.
  • The reducer transfers the motion from the shaft to the head via a coupler.
  • It also operates with a simple car battery with a consumption of only 8A /h. Comes with a 15-meter cable

Head Features

  • Greek farmers have nicknamed it ''koupepe'' because of the circular pulsating motion of its head.
  • The head is equipped with 22 plastic rods (7 double and 2 quadruple) friendly to the olive, each 10 cm long, arranged in a cross shape that allows it to drop the fruit from the tree to the maximum without the slightest injury.
  • The internal shaft of the head is square, on which the rods fit.
  • The tube is made of aluminum with a 7mm shaft (rod) made of stainless steel and anti-vibration rings made of rubber and ertalon.

Instructions for Use

  • We place the cable terminals in the respective power supply (generator, battery, 12VDC transformer). There is no polarity + -, so it does not matter how we place the terminals as long as they properly contact the receptacles of each power supply case.
  • We start the generator or the battery or the 12VDC transformer. The consumption of the machines in A is 8A/h.
  • We press the on-off switch located at the base of the olive harvester. The olive harvester is now operational.

Very good! Especially on trees that don't have much olive.
It needs a good battery to give the machine all its torque. The size doesn't change; it stays constant at about 2.80.

After 8 years of use during the olive harvest period, I have the following summary:
    Advantages:
    1. It has a powerful motor.
    2. It easily penetrates dense olive trees.
    3. It does not suffer serious damage.
    4. It is reliable.
    5. It has a good price-performance ratio.
    6. It has a well-designed and ergonomic construction.
    7. It works with a car battery.
    8. It is better in finishing the olives compared to the traditional method.

    Disadvantages:
    1. The motor has significant vibrations that can be tiring during use.
    2. It is heavy.
    3. It is not as efficient as the traditional method.

In conclusion, an olive harvester that will compensate you and I would recommend it in combination with the traditional method.

I have had this tool for about 8 years and there is no better one, and the fact that it has been on the market for 40 years says it all. I highly recommend it without reservation. Angelis number 1

It was good 12-15 years ago when it was innovative, now there is no reason to get it, due to its weight and vibrations.

I have been using the Angelis 1 chainsaw for about 15 years. I have 3 of the same ones powered by the cylinder's strength for cutting branches. It hasn't had any damage except for some broken plastic due to natural wear from use. The downside is the vibrations from the recoil, but you hold it lightly and they disappear. It lacks efficiency only when the olive tree has many dense branches. In all other cases, in my opinion, it is superior to others because it has the weight low and not at the top end of the rod to tire you out after 3 hours of work, and because it throws the olives around without having to turn it to comb the branch, and you can chase olives in dry areas. Of course, before I bought it, I had worked with hand combs and tongs, which did not suit me at all. I suggest that before you buy, you work with different types of chainsaws with your friends, and I think you will remember me.

Ten minutes to work it out, you understand how far it is from modern blenders. Avoid it even if they give it to you for free.
