The QNAP TS-864EU-8G NAS is designed for rack mounting and supports M.2 drives and SSDs. The quad-core Intel Celeron N5095 processor runs at speeds of up to 2.9 GHz, while the two built-in 2.5GbE ports support port trunking for transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps.
The HDMI output supports 4K media playback and real-time transcoding. The two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports support data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps, while the PCIe slot allows you to install 2.5/5/10GbE network adapters, QM2 cards, or USB 3.2 Gen 2 expansion cards. The QTS operating system can be replaced with QuTS hero, which includes ZFS for data integrity and WORM technology to prevent data tampering. It also supports data backup and recovery, as well as hybrid cloud applications through cloud storage gateways.
