About ten months after purchase, the TV developed shadows at the top of the screen. I took it to the service center, where they told me the damage was due to smoke, so I was responsible, and therefore it was not covered by the warranty! Apart from the fact that this is a ridiculous excuse, there is no source of smoke in the house. And the best part, at the store where I bought the TV, there is another one exactly the same with EXACTLY the same problem. I informed the store and Sony accordingly and I am waiting.
Eventually, Sony agreed to cover the damage under warranty. In today's communication, they told me that it cannot be repaired and they will proceed with a replacement. As soon as I have more news, I will update.
It took about 3 weeks, but the replacement was finally done. A bit of hassle, but all's well that ends well!
Στους δέκα περίπου μήνες από την αγορά της, η τηλεόραση εμφάνισε σκιές στο πάνω μέρος της οθόνης. την έδωσα στο service απ'όπου μου είπαν ότι η βλάβη είναι από καπνό άρα ευθύνομαι εγώ, άρα δεν καλύπτεται από εγγύηση! Εκτός από το ότι είναι γελοία σαν δικαιολογία, δεν υπάρχει πηγή καπνού μέσα στο σπίτι. Και το πιο ωραίο, στο κατάστημα από το οποίο αγόρασα την τηλεόραση, έχει μια ακριβώς ίδια με ΑΚΡΙΒΩΣ το ίδιο πρόβλημα. Ενημέρωσα σχετικώς το κατάστημα και την Sony και περιμένω.
Τελικά η sony δέχτηκε να καλύψει την ζημιά μέσα στην εγγύηση. Σε σημερινή επικοινωνία, μου είπαν ότι τελικά δεν επισκευάζεται και θα προχωρήσουν σε αντικατάσταση. Μόλις έχω νεότερα θα επανέλθω.
Πήρε περίπου 3 εβδομάδες αλλά τελικά έγινε η αντικατάσταση. Λίγο ταλαιπωρία αλλά τέλος καλό!
I bought it for the bedroom, 43-inch. Very good TV, amazing picture, with many features, fast on the internet and automatic Dolby Vision on Netflix. I also connected the Sony A3000 soundbar via HDMI ARC and the room turned into a movie theater. Just to be clear, I am reviewing the 43-inch for bedroom use and it is super. For the living room, obviously a bigger one and maybe an OLED model from Sony or Philips. Set the picture to HLG for better quality.
Την αγόρασα για το υπνοδωμάτιο 43αρα.Πολυ καλή tv,εικόνα καταπληκτική,με πολλές δυνατότητες,γρήγορη στο διαδίκτυο και αυτόματο Doby Vision στο Netflix.Συνδεσα και το soundbar A3000 της Sony μέσω HDMI ARC και το δωμάτιο μετατράπηκε σε κινηματογράφικη αίθουσα.Για να μην παρεξηγηθώ αξιολογω την 43αρα και για χρήση σε υπνοδωμάτιο και είναι super.Για σαλόνι σαφώς μεγαλύτερη και κάποιο μοντέλο Oled Sony η Philips.Ρυθμιση εικονας σε HLG για καλύτερη ποιότητα.
The picture is not vivid, the colors are saturated; definitely at this price, there are better options in another brand

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the 75-inch x75wl. The black levels in movies are not good, with a visible blue shadow at the bottom of the screen that won't go away no matter what you do, and it distracts you. I don't like the viewing angle, even though rtings states that it has an IPS panel. Also, the brightness is very mediocre, only 280 nits, and the colors are not very vibrant. Overall, it has comparable quality to the LG ur78006 and LG 766 nanocell.
On the positive side:
It is very reliable because it has direct LED technology, not edge-lit like most Samsung models in this price range.
The stand, with separate legs, as well as the overall construction, is very sturdy.
The operating system is Google TV (a form of Android) which will allow you to load many apps.
The X1 processor it has does good upscaling and provides sufficient detail.
Overall, a reliable choice, but unfortunately with the expected mediocre image performance for its price.

Το μαύρο που αποδίδει στις ταινίες δεν είναι καλό , με μάλλιστα ορατή μια μπλέ σκιά στο κάτω μέρος της οθόνης που ό,τι κι αν κάνεις δεν φεύγει και σου αποσπά τη προσοχή .Η γωνία θέασης δεν μου αρέσει , παρόλο που στο rtings αναφέρει πως έχει IPS panel . Επίσης η φωτεινότητα πολύ μέτρια , μόλις 280 nits , τα χρώματα όχι πολύ ζωηρά .- Συνολικά έχει εφάμιλη ποιότητα με τις LG ur78006 και LG 766 nanocell .
Στα θετικά:
Eίναι πολύ αξιόπιστη ,επειδή έχει direct led τεχνολογία , κι όχι edge lit που έχουν οι περισσότερες Samsung σε αυτά τα χρήματα .
Η βάση , ξεχωριστά ποδαράκια ,όπως και η συνολική κατασκευή είναι πολύ στιβαρή .
Το λειτουργικό είναι google tv (μία μορφή android) που θα σας επιτρέψει να φορτώσετε πολλά προγράμματα .

Wonderful television, very good picture and sound. I am very interested in recording and while I was worried that it would be difficult for me because it doesn't have a recording button on either of the two remotes, it turns out it's very easy from the menu and not only does it record with programming (up to 32 scheduled recordings), but you can also watch the recording while it's happening, or another recording, a big advantage because otherwise it limits you to the channel you are recording due to the single tuner. You can also watch some of the apps during the recording, subscription or Netflix for example.
I trusted Sony, even though the information about the television was not clear because the familiar manuals with usage instructions are no longer available. You have to search for them on the internet and they do not pertain to a specific model, so they are vague.
But in the end, Sony never disappoints.
I would like a manual included like there used to be. Is there really that much economy on paper now?

As a owner of this specific television for 4 months, I can say that it is very good with one very big disadvantage. I am referring to the viewing angle, which if you do not watch with the screen directly in front of you, the colors distort to a tragic degree that makes it hard to believe that SONY released such a product.
Κάτοχος της συγκεκριμένης τηλεόρασης εδώ και 4 μήνες, μπορώ να πω ότι είναι πολύ καλή με ένα πολύ μεγάλο μειονέκτημα. Αναφέρομαι στην γωνία θέασης, που αν δεν παρακολουθείς με την οθόνη ακριβώς απέναντί σου, τα χρώματα αλλοιώνονται σε τραγικό βαθμό που δυσκολεύεσαι να πιστέψεις ότι η SONY έβγαλε τέτοιο προιόν.
Pros: 2 remote controls, nice panel, fast, DLNA, plays Cosmote TV, etc.
Cons: It is more expensive than similar LG/Samsung models but it is worth its money (time will tell)

Very good image quality in 4K movies, however, the HDR distorts instead of improving the quality. Very clear image on channels. User-friendly menu with many functions. It has 3GB RAM - most have 2, so it never lags. I should add that it HAS the following: a) PVR, b) it is hybrid, and c) 4 HDMI ports, two of which are 2.1, although these characteristics are not mentioned in the description.

Να προσθέσω ότι ΕΧΕΙ τα εξης:α) PVR, Β) είναι υβριδικη κι γ) 4 hdmi τα δύο 2.1 αν και στην περιγραφή δεν αναφέρονται αυτά τα χαρακτηριστικά.

Μου κάνει εντύπωση ότι η συγκεκριμένη tv δεν έχει hbbtv και εγγραφή σε usb. Μπορεί κάποιος να πιστοποιήσει αν τα έχει αυτά τα 2 ή όχι;

About ten months after purchase, the TV developed shadows at the top of the screen. I took it to the service center, where they told me the damage was due to smoke, so I was responsible, and therefore it was not covered by the warranty! Apart from the fact that this is a ridiculous excuse, there is no source of smoke in the house. And the best part, at the store where I bought the TV, there is another one exactly the same with EXACTLY the same problem. I informed the store and Sony accordingly and I am waiting.
Eventually, Sony agreed to cover the damage under warranty. In today's communication, they told me that it cannot be repaired and they will proceed with a replacement. As soon as I have more news, I will update.
It took about 3 weeks, but the replacement was finally done. A bit of hassle, but all's well that ends well!
Στους δέκα περίπου μήνες από την αγορά της, η τηλεόραση εμφάνισε σκιές στο πάνω μέρος της οθόνης. την έδωσα στο service απ'όπου μου είπαν ότι η βλάβη είναι από καπνό άρα ευθύνομαι εγώ, άρα δεν καλύπτεται από εγγύηση! Εκτός από το ότι είναι γελοία σαν δικαιολογία, δεν υπάρχει πηγή καπνού μέσα στο σπίτι. Και το πιο ωραίο, στο κατάστημα από το οποίο αγόρασα την τηλεόραση, έχει μια ακριβώς ίδια με ΑΚΡΙΒΩΣ το ίδιο πρόβλημα. Ενημέρωσα σχετικώς το κατάστημα και την Sony και περιμένω.
Τελικά η sony δέχτηκε να καλύψει την ζημιά μέσα στην εγγύηση. Σε σημερινή επικοινωνία, μου είπαν ότι τελικά δεν επισκευάζεται και θα προχωρήσουν σε αντικατάσταση. Μόλις έχω νεότερα θα επανέλθω.
Πήρε περίπου 3 εβδομάδες αλλά τελικά έγινε η αντικατάσταση. Λίγο ταλαιπωρία αλλά τέλος καλό!
I bought it for the bedroom, 43-inch. Very good TV, amazing picture, with many features, fast on the internet and automatic Dolby Vision on Netflix. I also connected the Sony A3000 soundbar via HDMI ARC and the room turned into a movie theater. Just to be clear, I am reviewing the 43-inch for bedroom use and it is super. For the living room, obviously a bigger one and maybe an OLED model from Sony or Philips. Set the picture to HLG for better quality.
Την αγόρασα για το υπνοδωμάτιο 43αρα.Πολυ καλή tv,εικόνα καταπληκτική,με πολλές δυνατότητες,γρήγορη στο διαδίκτυο και αυτόματο Doby Vision στο Netflix.Συνδεσα και το soundbar A3000 της Sony μέσω HDMI ARC και το δωμάτιο μετατράπηκε σε κινηματογράφικη αίθουσα.Για να μην παρεξηγηθώ αξιολογω την 43αρα και για χρήση σε υπνοδωμάτιο και είναι super.Για σαλόνι σαφώς μεγαλύτερη και κάποιο μοντέλο Oled Sony η Philips.Ρυθμιση εικονας σε HLG για καλύτερη ποιότητα.
The picture is not vivid, the colors are saturated; definitely at this price, there are better options in another brand

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the 75-inch x75wl. The black levels in movies are not good, with a visible blue shadow at the bottom of the screen that won't go away no matter what you do, and it distracts you. I don't like the viewing angle, even though rtings states that it has an IPS panel. Also, the brightness is very mediocre, only 280 nits, and the colors are not very vibrant. Overall, it has comparable quality to the LG ur78006 and LG 766 nanocell.
On the positive side:
It is very reliable because it has direct LED technology, not edge-lit like most Samsung models in this price range.
The stand, with separate legs, as well as the overall construction, is very sturdy.
The operating system is Google TV (a form of Android) which will allow you to load many apps.
The X1 processor it has does good upscaling and provides sufficient detail.
Overall, a reliable choice, but unfortunately with the expected mediocre image performance for its price.

Το μαύρο που αποδίδει στις ταινίες δεν είναι καλό , με μάλλιστα ορατή μια μπλέ σκιά στο κάτω μέρος της οθόνης που ό,τι κι αν κάνεις δεν φεύγει και σου αποσπά τη προσοχή .Η γωνία θέασης δεν μου αρέσει , παρόλο που στο rtings αναφέρει πως έχει IPS panel . Επίσης η φωτεινότητα πολύ μέτρια , μόλις 280 nits , τα χρώματα όχι πολύ ζωηρά .- Συνολικά έχει εφάμιλη ποιότητα με τις LG ur78006 και LG 766 nanocell .
Στα θετικά:
Eίναι πολύ αξιόπιστη ,επειδή έχει direct led τεχνολογία , κι όχι edge lit που έχουν οι περισσότερες Samsung σε αυτά τα χρήματα .
Η βάση , ξεχωριστά ποδαράκια ,όπως και η συνολική κατασκευή είναι πολύ στιβαρή .
Το λειτουργικό είναι google tv (μία μορφή android) που θα σας επιτρέψει να φορτώσετε πολλά προγράμματα .
Ο επεξεργαστής X1 που διαθέτει κάνει καλό upscaling και δίνει αρκτεή λεπτομέρεια
Γενικά μια αξιόπιστη επιλογή , με δυστυχώς την αναμενόμενη για τη τιμή της ,μέτρια απόδοση εικόνας .
Wonderful television, very good picture and sound. I am very interested in recording and while I was worried that it would be difficult for me because it doesn't have a recording button on either of the two remotes, it turns out it's very easy from the menu and not only does it record with programming (up to 32 scheduled recordings), but you can also watch the recording while it's happening, or another recording, a big advantage because otherwise it limits you to the channel you are recording due to the single tuner. You can also watch some of the apps during the recording, subscription or Netflix for example.
I trusted Sony, even though the information about the television was not clear because the familiar manuals with usage instructions are no longer available. You have to search for them on the internet and they do not pertain to a specific model, so they are vague.
But in the end, Sony never disappoints.
I would like a manual included like there used to be. Is there really that much economy on paper now?

As a owner of this specific television for 4 months, I can say that it is very good with one very big disadvantage. I am referring to the viewing angle, which if you do not watch with the screen directly in front of you, the colors distort to a tragic degree that makes it hard to believe that SONY released such a product.

Very good image quality in 4K movies, however, the HDR distorts instead of improving the quality. Very clear image on channels. User-friendly menu with many functions. It has 3GB RAM - most have 2, so it never lags. I should add that it HAS the following: a) PVR, b) it is hybrid, and c) 4 HDMI ports, two of which are 2.1, although these characteristics are not mentioned in the description.
