Description

Matte acrylic paints, water-based and specifically formulated for airbrush use. The Model Air color range contains the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in modern history, including colors from World War I and II to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by experts referring to existing and previous military references, in order to provide the modeler with the maximum possible historical accuracy.

Model Air can be used directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prepare the surface and then apply Model Air in multiple layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous paint film of exceptional durability, even retaining the smallest details of the model.

For airbrushing these colors, the compressor air pressure is recommended at 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can, of course, also be applied with a brush. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is suggested.

Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and contains no solvents. Please also refer to the certified safety information of the product on the Safety page.

Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. dropper bottles. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing it to be used in minimal quantities and to be stored for a long time.
