Description

The D-Link DES-105 switch connects up to 5 devices to a wired Ethernet network for sharing files and an Internet connection at home or in a small office. It is an unmanaged Layer 2 switch with 10/100 Mbps ports that automatically detect the connection speed and support automatic negotiation of full- or half-duplex operation. Auto MDI/MDIX allows connections using standard Ethernet cables, without a crossover cable.

It supports IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE), which puts a port into standby when there is no Ethernet traffic or the connected computer is turned off. Each port has two LED indicators for connection status.
