Removes chloramines, chlorine, ammonia, and nitrites present in tap water or aquarium water. It can be used to neutralize iodine in case of aquarium overdose. Used according to instructions, it is safe for immediate use in all aquariums. Contains no phosphates and silicates.

Erāse-Cl can be used for preparing water for use in aquariums, as well as during periods when ammonia and/or nitrite concentrations are measurable. Erāse-Cl is not intended to be considered a substitute for maintaining adequate filtration equipment/methods or their care, however, it can be used as needed to prevent ammonia or nitrite salts from irritating sensitive aquarium inhabitants.

A balanced aquarium is one in which the rate of introduction of organic materials to the system matches the rate of removal by filtration methods. It is natural for a system to be unbalanced for short periods after the addition of new organisms or other disturbances, however, it should return to balance within a few days.

If ammonia or nitrite concentrations are persistently and measurably present, check the source water for these substances. Chronic levels of ammonia and nitrites can gradually weaken fish and invertebrates.
