Greek rolling pin with a texture that can imprint a continuous repeating pattern into clay and putties. Made from transparent PMMA plastic with non-stick properties. Non-toxic. Available in many different textures.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Mix the putty/clay thoroughly until it is ready according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Roll out the putty/clay on a surface that will receive the texture.
• Depending on the type of putty/clay, wet the rolling pin to prevent sticking.
• Slowly move the rolling pin applying equal pressure at all points for even texture.
• Cut away any excess putty/clay with a sharp knife.

MATERIALS:

Different putties and clays can achieve texture using the appropriate technique. Polymer clay (such as Fimo or Sculpey) is relatively easy to work with these rolling pins and allows for easy correction of mistakes before baking. MDF bases are ideal for polymer clay textures, as you can bake directly on them. The baking time is about 15 minutes at 150ºC.

Epoxy putties can also be used without the need for baking. Green Stuff putty requires light wetting and you can use talcum powder or Sculptor’s vaseline for less stickiness. Other putties like Milliput are also suitable, but be careful with water usage.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Use a Scrubber brush and plenty of water to clean the rolling pins if needed.
