Management involves choosing from 80 professional teams, developing race strategies, rotating riders, organising training, scouting new talent and upgrading equipment. The game features more than 260 races and 700 stages.

In Pro Cyclist mode, you create a cyclist and develop their career through training, their first races and contract management. The mode has been revamped with options for milestones and season improvement goals, while unexpected events call for new decisions. Balancing fitness development, specialist training and social life is essential. Rankings are based on a 52-week system, with weekly updates; the world team ranking starts on 1 January, with every team at zero points. Mass finishes and sprints have also been revamped, while during stages, depending on the conditions, riders can save energy in the peloton for the days ahead.
