OptiMate 6 is a fully automatic, intelligent "plug-and-play" charger recognized worldwide as the top choice for caring for medium and large car, boat, RV, and motorcycle batteries. Thanks to its advanced microprocessor, it diagnoses, restores, charges, and maintains your battery without requiring any adjustments or supervision from you.

Main Features & Functions

Smart Ampmatic System: TecMate's revolutionary technology automatically and in real-time adjusts the charging current (up to 5A or 6A depending on the version). A small battery will safely receive a low current, while a large battery will be charged with maximum power for the fastest possible results.

T°-Matic System (Temperature Control): Automatically adjusts the charging voltage based on ambient temperature. In cold conditions, the voltage increases for a more complete charge, while in scorching heat, it decreases to prevent overheating and damage to the battery.

Advanced Recovery (Save from 0.5V): Incorporates the award-winning multi-stage desulfation program (Turbo Save). It can recognize and restore deeply discharged batteries that have fallen to as low as 0.5V, which simple chargers consider damaged.

Automatic Health Test: Before and after charging, the charger performs a check to determine if the battery can hold the charge, providing early warning of any internal issues or faults.

Safe 24/7 Maintenance (Connect & Forget): Designed for permanent connection during long-term storage (e.g., winter lay-up). It switches between safe charging and testing, extending the battery's lifespan by up to 400%.
