Description

Description

The MΕLOS rosin has been tested and works successfully under any conditions tailored for each instrument. It is produced for each instrument in two different types: "light" and "dark".

  • The "light" rosin is used more for high ambient temperatures (spring or summer) for a softer play or for solo performances in chamber music.
  • The "dark" rosin is used more for lower ambient temperatures (autumn or winter) for a "full" play, for orchestras, or for solo performances in large concerts.

For Greek bowed string instruments, Pontian, Cretan & Ottoman lyre, two types of rosin are also produced, "light" & "dark". For a "softer" play, use the "light" and for a "louder" play, use the "dark". For the Ottoman lyre, I would recommend the "light" and for the Cretan lyre, the "dark".

Thus, the "MELos" rosin in all hardness degrees provides even the most demanding musician with what they truly seek, a high-quality sound.
