This book is aimed at all first-year high school students. With its writing, we have tried to introduce students to the magical world of Chemistry and to familiarize them with chemical compounds and phenomena they encounter daily in their environment. At the same time, our goal is for students to acquire the foundations that will help them in their study of Chemistry in the following grades.

This book follows the following structure:

• Presentation of theory in the form of questions and answers. In this way, each student can focus their attention on the most important points of each lesson and do a quick review whenever they see fit.
• Assessment questions for better understanding of the material, specifically questions:
  • development
  • fill-in-the-blanks
  • matching
  • multiple choice
  • true or false
• Exercises for solving and combinatorial problems that cover the material in multiple ways and expand our field of applications.
• Assessment criteria for the consolidation of the material.

At the end of each subsection, the answers to the assessment questions and the solutions to the exercises are included.
