Macon insulating tape is a self-adhesive, SBS elastomeric bituminous tape. It is used to seal cracks, tiled roofs, flat roofs, gutters, greenhouses and glazing, forming a waterproof barrier that limits the penetration of water and moisture and helps prevent corrosion at the application points.

Its upper surface features a 55 μm PET/ALU combination (23 μm/25 μm) and an aluminium foil, while the lower surface has a self-adhesive coating. It complies with the EN 13969 standard.
