Orchiata Power No.5 growing medium consists of natural, aged Pinus radiata bark from New Zealand, graded into 9–12 mm pieces. Its particle size is suitable for young and mature orchids with medium-sized roots, such as Phalaenopsis, Oncidium, Odontoglossum, Dendrobium, and Paphiopedilum. Its open structure retains water and nutrients while maintaining air spaces around the roots.

The bark is aged naturally and has a compact structure that resists crumbling. Added dolomite adjusts the initial pH and provides an initial supply of calcium and magnesium. Use straight from the package, without washing or soaking.
