Description

Archives of the Empire: Volume III contains a variety of exciting articles. This time, Isabella explores the activities of merchants and the worship of the people that is common in many rural areas of the Empire. Many small cults are examined in new detail, while forgotten beliefs are analyzed.

  • Legitimate Business Enterprises. A guide to starting a business in the Empire, detailing how to make a profit and evolve from humble beginnings into a powerful enterprise.
  • The Cult of Handrich, God of Trade. Merchants across the Old World seek Handrich's blessing in their dealings, but his worship is new and his priests are rarely encountered outside of Marienburg.
  • Folk Worship and Hedge Magic. The beliefs and traditions of those living in rural areas of the Empire are analyzed. The Old Faith is a tradition of the ancient people who lived before the arrival of Sigmar, and it has now faded in significance and power. The practice of hedge magic is described in detail, with several new spells. Minor gods, such as Khaine, are discussed.
  • The Cult of Solkan, God of Vengeance. Though a mostly forgotten deity, his strict faith is very severe and inflexible for most people; Solkan promises aid to those seeking divine retribution.
  • The Cult of Rhya, Goddess of Fertility. Prayers from those who farm the land and tend the sheep; Rhya may seem a distant goddess to the people of the Empire's cities, but in the countryside, understanding her ways often makes the difference between life and death.
  • Rules Updates and Additions. The archive also includes new rules for various types of armor, more minor magical effects, animal companions for witches and wizards, updated core skills and talents for Characters from various regions of Altdorf, and Lord Adalbert Knopp-Itzel, an idealistic hero of Jungfreud.
