Description & Specifications

Akuku gel breast pads can be used warm or cold while breastfeeding. Warm application helps milk flow before feeding or pumping and provides relief from blocked milk ducts, mastitis and engorgement. Cold application soothes sore or swollen breasts.

Each pad is covered on one side with soft fabric. For warm use, heat each pad separately in the microwave for 16 seconds at 700 W, 13 seconds at 1,000 W or 11 seconds at 1,250 W. If needed, heat for an additional 5 seconds after checking the temperature first. For cold use, place in the freezer for at least 2 hours and apply with the fabric side against the skin.
