I should mention that I did not buy it myself but borrowed it from my brother-in-law and tried it for about 2 weeks. For its cost, I think it's money wasted. I used it only on the face, for a 1-day, 3-day, and 1-week beard. While it is really excellent at taking off the beard that covers the cheeks, on the neck and chin it not only struggles but also needs to be followed up with a razor. It does the same job as a 20€ KERNIL. I can't understand if I'm doing something wrong because the other comments I read only had good things to say. Maybe I didn't use it properly.

After 4 years with the Philips S7000 model, I was hesitant because I had a bad experience with older single-head models. Here, I have to say that Braun with the Series 9 is light years ahead. Dry shaving with two-day stubble in 2 1/2 minutes leaves the skin like paper. No irritation or redness.

For three-day-old stubble with coarse and dense hair, I don't spend more than 5 heavy minutes and it keeps me for 2 days without shaving. For daily refreshing shaves, there’s no need to mention if I spend more than a minute struggling with the shave. It’s worth every last cent at the price I got it for.

Is it worth it? If you want the "best" shaver, maybe. However, if I were to buy it again, I would purchase something at one-third of the price that I am sure would do 90% of what this one does in terms of performance. The replacement parts for cleaning are also very expensive.

It does a good job but in no way enough to be worth its price. I got the most expensive one on the market hoping to replace razors, which will not happen.. it is better than a shaver costing 150-200€ but by no means justifies being 2-3 times higher in price

I need several repetitions to shave well, especially in the neck area. It does not irritate the skin. The clean center works perfectly. Overall, I am satisfied with the first month of use. However, I think it could be a little cheaper (hence the missing one star)
