It's not a classic brake cleaner. It will melt everything.

It smells like a paint thinner or like what the painter gives you to dissolve the paint (no other spray smells like that). It doesn't dry quickly like the classic cleaner and leaves an oily residue (something we don't want on the brakes).

I put a small (!!!) amount on the rear caliper and as it dripped, it fell on the disc and melted the paint. Other sprays have never done this to me and I always apply with care, meaning, a small amount.

Maybe it's good for other applications but definitely not for brakes. If it melts the paint and painted pads (e.g. genuine brembo or honda) imagine what it does to the rubber seal on the caliper.

I sprayed out of curiosity on some toothbrushes I had for general use. The grease came off but when it dried, the toothbrush turned white and dissolved.

If you are looking for a good and very cheap spray compared to others, choose the Morris brand.
