Modular

Modular helmets are a combination of a full-face and a jet helmet. They have a mechanism that opens the front part of the helmet, turning it into a jet helmet. They are easy to wear and safer than jet helmets, but less safe than full-face helmets as the helmet breaks into two pieces. The difference between them and Flip-Up helmets is that the lower part is completely removed and does not remain on the helmet. During driving, the front part of the helmet must be closed, and during stops, it can be lifted.

Thermoplastic

This is a plastic material mainly used in more affordable and entry-level helmets.

Thermoplastic shells, such as Polycarbonate or ABS, offer basic protection through deformation upon impact, with greater weight and lower production cost compared to composite materials.

Certification refers to the official inspection that confirms the helmet meets specific safety standards as defined by international organizations (e.g., ECE, DOT). It is an indication that the helmet has been tested and approved for its ability to protect in real collision conditions.

ECE 22.06

New European-type safety specification certification "ECE 22.06", which ensures that the helmet is tested at 18 impact check points instead of 6 as was previously the case. It is now considered the most modern and comprehensive standard for helmet safety in Europe.

Not Supported

It is not compatible with the Pinlock system, so it cannot be installed. In this case, the helmet does not have the fittings for adding the Pinlock inner visor, which means there is no special protection against fogging or misting of the visor.
