The North American Jerry Drake, or Mister No, is a fictional character from Italian comics created in 1975. He experienced many adventures during World War II, where he fought as a soldier, pilot, and member of the American secret services in various locations. He was ultimately named Mister No by his fellow soldiers and by his opponents, due to his pride and stubborn refusal to submit to orders.
In early 1945, he was repatriated. He crossed the U.S. and, weary from the mistakes of war, disgusted by the violence of the Western world, and entirely unable to adapt to a normal life back home, he decided to settle in Manaus, Brazil, to live his life on his own terms, in a place that some people call the last frontier of civilization.
The comic includes the story titled Ananga! (Mister No #).
