Update 15/7/2026: I’m closing 2 years of using the NOYAFA NF-811 that a technician friend at NOVA recommended to me, and he uses it daily. An amazing tool; without a screen, however, it does exactly the same as the one above. Its generator gives a strong signal and finding it with the probe is now effortless. Update 30/3/2025: Tested by me and then by my technician friend in houses to find the vertical line from the apartment building’s panel that is connected to the apartment outlet that had a fault. The machine (the wand, not the one with the screen) cannot accurately locate the copper line. On one side it was properly connected with RJ11 to a working outlet and when I went to the panel the wand was going crazy from the various signals, so out of the 20 pairs of wires I couldn’t find mine. Unacceptable for a machine costing 80+ euros. It will be returned.
Exactly what I needed. My Noyafa was recommended to me by a friend who works as a field technician at NOVA, and I found the model after doing some research. The company is Chinese, so time will tell how durable it is. We’ll be here to judge it. Its use will be amateur, since it will be for checking an installation after a full renovation in a house. Afterwards, with the help of the tool, installation of a patch panel, switch, and router.

Update 15/7/2026: Κλείνω 2 έτη που χρησιμοποιώ το NOYAFA NF-811 που μου πρότεινε φίλος τεχνικός στη NOVA και το δουλεύει καθημερινά. Τρομερό εργαλείο, χωρίς οθόνη ωστόσο κάνει ακριβώς τα ίδια με το παραπάνω. Η γεννήτρια του δίνει δυνατό σήμα και η εύρεση με την μύτη είναι απνεύκολη πλέον. Update 30/3/2025: χρήσηςΔοκιμάστηκε απο εμένα και στη συνέχεια απο τον φίλο μου τεχνικό σε σπίτια για να βρεθεί η κάθετη γραμμή απο τον πίνακα της πολυκατικοίας που συνδέεται με την πρίζα διαμερίσματος που είχε βλάβη. Το μηχάνημα (το ραβδί, όχι αυτό με την οθόνη) δεν μπορεί να εντοπίσει με ακρίβεια την γραμμή του χαλκού. Απο την μια πλευρά είχε συνδεθεί κανονικά με RJ11 σε λειτουργική πρίζα και απο ότνα πήγα στον πίνακα το ραβδί τρελενόταν απο τα διάφορα σήματα με αποτέλεσμα απο τα 20 ζεύγη καλωδίων να μην μπορώ να βρω το δικό μου. Απαράδεκτο για μηχάνημα των 80+ ευρώ. Θα επιστραφεί πίσω.
Ακριβως αυτό που χρειαζόμουν. Την Noyafa μου την πρότεινε φίλος που εργάζεται ως τεχνικός πεδίου στη NOVA και το μοντέλο το βρήκα μετά από έρευνα που έκανα. Η εταιρία είναι Κινέζικη οπότε θα δείξει την αντοχή του στο χρόνο. Εδώ θα είμαστε να το κρίνουμε. Η χρήση του θα είναι ερασιτεχνική μιας και θα είναι έλεγχος εγκατάστασης μετά από ολική ανακαίνιση σε ένα σπίτι. Στη συνέχεια με τη βοήθεια του εργαλείου εγκατάσταση patch panel, switch και router.
