For a small space (e.g. bedroom) and just to listen to something, it is very decent. After all, it is just a simple compact. Don't expect hi-fi level sound. However, there is a way for huge sound improvement! If you have old speakers, which are 8 Ohm impedance and sensitivity from 90 db and above, regardless of Watt, you can connect them to the Panasonic without worry, thus greatly improving the sound quality. Don't expect them to play very loud, although this depends largely on their sensitivity (the higher it is, the louder), but you will hear musical frequencies that the 'stock' ones lack or completely miss. Attention!!!! Pay special attention that the Ohms of the speakers you might connect are at least 8. I have connected some old B&W, 8 Ohm, 90 Db, 120 Watt (each) and they play perfectly with the sound quality allowed by the Panasonic's amplifier, which is light years better than its own. I don't know what applies with the Ohms if you connect active speakers. Probably there won't be a problem.
Bluetooth works flawlessly from a distance of 3m (at least for me) and is the only way to connect another device.

For this particular mini stereo system, words are unnecessary when Panasonic gives us an exceptionally high-quality acoustic product with excellent construction for the money the buyer spends!! And what do I mean? That we shouldn't have particular expectations from this sound system because it is essentially a minimal sound machine, and we buy it for the bedroom, kitchen, office, or small house; it will do exactly what the Japanese giant promises through its features!! I gave it as a gift to my friend who wanted something small, quality, branded, nice, and mainly not too expensive!! It was placed in a small living room of 15 square meters and is simply beautiful and sturdy for its size, and most importantly, it has clear and rich sound!! The radio correctly and immediately picks up FM stations without static, and with its antenna, it doesn't need to be in any special position or spot!! It plays CDs without any delays or glitches at all!! Although the sound controls are basic, the bass performs excellently, and even at maximum volume, there is no annoying muffling or buzzing of the sound's timbre!! The main body is made of aluminum, the speakers are wooden with 80 RMS, meaning two at 40 watts per speaker!! With a USB port for a flash drive and, most importantly, a headphone jack, which has almost disappeared nowadays!! It was purchased for €163.90 when it can go up to €230!!! The only downside someone might find based on the competition is perhaps that the radio doesn't have RDS!! However, it has quality construction, reliability from a serious manufacturer in the field of sound in mini HI-FI sound systems, and comes with a two-year warranty from the official distributor. So, as I mentioned, without particular expectations and with these features, buying it at this price makes it VFM!!!
