Noisy outdoor unit. With 20 degrees inside and 11 outside, it sounds louder than the 24 inverter unit I have.
Quite a lot of vibration from the outdoor unit... Buy units you’ve seen working somewhere else. Better to pay 200 more than get something that won’t meet your needs. A 12-square-meter room, closed on all sides, and it still only reaches 20 degrees when the outdoor temperature is 11... The hotel function in the menu simply lets you connect a magnetic sensor so it switches off when the window or door is opened. You can’t set a maximum cooling or heating limit, or even lock some of the unit’s functions... They told me, “Don’t get a 12, because it will keep switching off...” And I paid 540 euros because I didn’t do enough research... Something that isn’t good isn’t worth it even if they give it to you for free... I imagine all the company’s products are about the same. At a real temperature of 24 degrees, with 12 degrees outside, it draws 1.5 amps. The 24,000 BTU unit I have draws 3.5 amps at a real temperature of 24 degrees in a 4-room space...
Why get a small one? Better to get a large one that can drop to 200 watts, because not only will the outdoor unit make less noise, but the indoor unit will too, since it has a larger coil and won’t need to run at high speed to do the job... Outdoor temperature of 8 degrees, and I can’t get the room above 22 degrees, with the fan speed turned all the way up to 6. A 12-square-meter room, closed on all sides... Avoid it, and if you do get one, don’t get anything smaller than a 12; the 9,000 BTU model is suitable for an office of 4 to 5 square meters at most.
The 9,000 BTU unit draws 1.5 amps in a 12-square-meter room at 22 degrees, with the fan set to speed 4, for almost two days... And it doesn’t go any higher... The 24,000 BTU unit draws 2.9 amps in 44 square meters at 23.2 degrees, with the fan at speed 1... The 24,000 is an Inventor Dark... I set it to 24, and the room is almost 24... With the smaller one I set it to 29, and it barely reaches 22 downstairs. Which one is more economical?????? I bought it because it also has an iFeel function, but the company doesn’t state in the specifications that it switches off after 2 hours... and of course you freeze afterward!!!! This is blatant misinformation. One of my worst purchases... Stay away.
The time has come to use it for cooling. I’ll say it’s okay by my standards, but even at the three settings I tried, even at low fan speed, it sounds as if the fan blade is hitting something. It cooled the room well; as for heating, it’s useless. One of my worst purchases.
I couldn’t get properly warm at all. In heating mode, the fan has to be set above 4 for the warmth to reach the floor, and even then it makes noise, with hardly any airflow
