I have had it for 2 years now. The sound tired me a bit and I bought speakers. But that might just be my own peculiarity. It is still perfect. It doesn't lag, the picture is excellent and the lighting works just fine!
Ειμαι στα 2 χρονια πλεον που την εχω. Με κούρασε λίγο ο ήχος της και αγόρασα ηχεία. Αλλα αυτό μπορει να ειναι δικια μου παραξενιά. Ειναι άψογη ακόμα. Δεν κολλάει , η εικόνα ειναι τέλεια και ο φωτισμος δουλεύει μια χαρα!
Purchased on 5/13/2024 the 65pml9008/12, as an exhibition product from a well-known large chain of stores.
Truly perfect picture and sound. All the comments that have been written are valid. However, it functioned normally for 2-3 months. Then various problems began. Sporadically it would turn on by itself, turn off by itself, lose channels and needed to be retuned, wouldn't connect to the internet, etc.
When the problems intensified, we decided to report a malfunction. The technician who came upgraded the software and asked us to monitor it for a while to see how it would go.
The problems continued. So the technician came again and concluded that the motherboard of the television would need to be replaced. Which indeed happened.
After the motherboard was replaced, it functioned normally for only a few days. Then the problems started again. And more intensely this time. The climax was that the television would turn on, the ambilights would light up, the Philips logo would appear but then it wouldn't load the software, the screen would go black and there was neither picture nor sound (even though the device remained on).
We reported a malfunction again, the same technician came back and told us that the motherboard would need to be replaced AGAIN!
Of course, this was not something we could accept. In a television purchased just 6 months ago, to change the motherboard 2 times? Obviously, this is a defective product. So we requested a replacement. Initially, Philips refused, stating that the company's policy is that as long as there are spare parts, a device replacement is not justified, only the replacement of the parts. We did not accept this, and so, with the help of the department store, they understood that they would have to replace it. However, the same model was not available, so they offered us a replacement with a similar model (65pml9019/12) which has now been ordered from abroad and we are waiting to receive it.
In conclusion, it may be a perfect television but after what happened to us (even if it's a one-off case and we were the unlucky ones) I would not recommend it to anyone
Αγοράστηκε 13/5/2024 η 65pml9008/12, ως εκθεσιακό προϊόν από γνωστή μεγάλη αλυσίδα καταστημάτων.
Πραγματικά τέλεια εικόνα και ήχος. Ισχύουν όλα τα σχόλια που έχουν γραφτεί. Όμως λειτούργησε κανονικά για 2-3 μήνες. Μετά άρχισαν διάφορα προβλήματα. Σποραδικά άνοιγε μόνη της, έκλεινε μόνη της, έχανε τα κανάλια κι έπρεπε να τα συντονίσεις ξανά, δεν συνδεόταν στο ίντερνετ κ.α.
Όταν τα προβλήματα εντάθηκαν αποφασίσαμε να δηλώσουμε βλάβη. Ο τεχνικός που ήρθε έκανε αναβάθμιση στο λογισμικό και μας ζήτησε να την παρακολουθήσουμε για ένα διάστημα να δούμε πώς θα πάει.
Τα προβλήματα εξακολούθησαν. Έτσι ο τεχνικός ήρθε ξανά κι αποφάνθηκε ότι θα πρέπει να αλλαχτεί η μητρική πλακέτα της τηλεόρασης. Όπερ κι εγένετο.
Αφότου αλλάχθηκε η μητρική λειτούργησε κανονικά για μερικές μόνο ημέρες. Μετά άρχισαν ξανά τα προβλήματα. Κι εντονότερα αυτή τη φορά. Το αποκορύφωμα ήταν ότι η τηλεόραση άνοιγε μεν, άναβαν τα ambilights, εμφανιζόταν το λογότυπο της Philips αλλά μετά δεν φόρτωνε το λογισμικό, η οθόνη μαύριζε και δεν υπήρχε ούτε εικόνα, ούτε ήχος (παρότι η συσκευή παρέμενε ανοιχτή).
Δηλώσαμε εκ νέου βλάβη, ήρθε ο ίδιος τεχνικός ξανά και μας είπε ότι θα πρέπει να αλλαχθεί ΞΑΝΑ η μητρική!
Ασφαλώς δεν ήταν κάτι που θα μπορούσαμε να αποδεχθούμε. Σε τηλεόραση που αγοράστηκε μόλις 6 μήνες πριν να αλλάξουμε 2 φορές μητρική πλακέτα; Προφανώς πρόκειται για ελαττωματικό προϊόν. Ζητήσαμε λοιπόν αντικατάσταση. Αρχικά η Philips αρνήθηκε λέγοντας ότι πολιτική της εταιρίας είναι πως για όσο υπάρχουν ανταλλακτικά δεν δικαιολογείται αλλαγή συσκευής παρά μόνο αντικατάσταση των ανταλλακτικών. Εμείς δεν το δεχόμασταν κι έτσι, με τη βοήθεια και του πολυκαταστήματος, κατάλαβαν ότι θα πρέπει να την αντικαταστήσουν. Όμως δεν υπήρχε το ίδιο μοντέλο κι έτσι μάς πρότειναν αντικατάσταση με παρεμφερές μοντέλο (65pml9019/12) το οποίο πλέον έχει παραγγελθεί από το εξωτερικό και περιμένουμε να παραλάβουμε.
Εν κατακλείδι, μπορεί να είναι τέλεια τηλεόραση αλλά μετά από αυτό που μας συνέβη (έστω κι αν πρόκειται για μεμονωμένη περίπτωση και ήμασταν εμείς οι άτυχοι) δεν θα την πρότεινα σε κανέναν
Great disappointment – eventually replaced after a lot of hassle
I bought the Philips 55PML9008/12 TV because of its technical features (MiniLED, Ambilight, P5 AI), expecting top image quality. Unfortunately, from the very first moment it showed severe backlight bleeding, to the extent that it seriously affected the viewing experience.
There followed two repairs (with replacement of the mainboard and panel), without any substantial result. Although Philips technical support was prompt and professional, the overall process was extremely time-consuming and demanding for the consumer.
Finally, after 25 days of continuous communication, a replacement with a newer model was approved.
⚠️ Although the series appears technologically advanced, the reliability of this particular unit was problematic. I would not recommend it – there are more stable and efficient options in the same category.
Μεγάλη απογοήτευση – τελικά αντικατάσταση μετά από ταλαιπωρία
Αγόρασα την τηλεόραση Philips 55PML9008/12 λόγω των τεχνικών χαρακτηριστικών της (MiniLED, Ambilight, P5 AI), περιμένοντας κορυφαία ποιότητα εικόνας. Δυστυχώς, από την πρώτη στιγμή παρουσίασε έντονη διαρροή φωτός (backlight bleeding), σε βαθμό που επηρέαζε σοβαρά την εμπειρία θέασης.
Ακολούθησαν δύο επισκευές (με αντικατάσταση μητρικής πλακέτας και πάνελ), χωρίς ουσιαστικό αποτέλεσμα. Αν και η τεχνική υποστήριξη της Philips ήταν άμεση και επαγγελματική, η συνολική διαδικασία ήταν εξαιρετικά χρονοβόρα και απαιτητική για τον καταναλωτή.
Τελικά, μετά από 25 ημέρες συνεχούς επικοινωνίας, εγκρίθηκε αντικατάσταση με νεότερο μοντέλο.
⚠️ Παρότι η σειρά φαίνεται τεχνολογικά εξελιγμένη, η αξιοπιστία της συγκεκριμένης μονάδας ήταν προβληματική. Δεν θα την πρότεινα – υπάρχουν πιο σταθερές και αποδοτικές επιλογές στην ίδια κατηγορία.
This specific 65" television, with ambilight, the mini-LED panel 120Hz and a price of €800 (this is the current price as of 10/9/24 at a large red store) is truly VFM. The menu is really fast, it just lacks CosmoteTV and EonTV. The sound of the television is satisfactory. Where it really excels is the picture, which combined with the ambilight leaves you speechless!
Η συγκεκριμένη τηλεόραση με 65" , με το ambilight, το mini-LED panel 120Hz και με τιμή τα 800 € (τόσο υπάρχει αυτή τη στιγμή 10/9/24 σε μεγάλο κόκκινο κατάστημα) είναι πραγματικά VFM. Το μενού πραγματικά γρήγορο, του λείπει μόνο η CosmoteTV και EonTV. Ο ήχος της τηλεόρασης ικανοποιητικός. Εκεί που πραγματικά υπερέχει είναι η εικόνα, που σε συνδυασμό με το ambilght σε αφήνει με ανοιχτό στόμα!
Very good picture guys. The menu is user-friendly although it doesn't have many applications but it has the basics. Netflix, Disney, Amazon prime, YouTube. It doesn't have Cosmote TV, It doesn't have Spotify. I have installed google TV and I have everything. I also added a JBL 600W soundbar and it's a SLAUGHTER inside the bedroom. My wife suffers.
πολύ καλή εικόνα παιδιά. Το μενού είναι εύχρηστο αν και δεν έχει παρά πολλές εφαρμογές αλλά έχει τις βασικές. Netflix, Disney, Amazon prime, YouTube. Δεν έχει Cosmote TV, Δεν έχει Spotify. Έχω βάλει google TV και τα έχω όλα. Έβαλα και μια ηχόμπαρα jbl 600W και γίνεται μέσα στο υπνοδωμάτιο ΣΦΑΓΗ. Η γυναίκα μου υποφέρει.
I've had it for a week. Compared to an LG UH770 that I have, it has better picture, clarity, and blacks that blew me away. Okay, it's not OLED, but the picture is amazing in one word. And 120Hz. I haven't explored the software much, but it seems good, it reminds me more of Google TV. I never liked LG's web OS. The Ambilight is indeed very nice.
Now for the negatives.
The sound is definitely good for a TV, but just good. You can adjust it however you want, but LG's is superior and has bass.
2-3 times it distorted the picture and the letters. I changed the channel, went back, and it fixed itself. I lowered the clarity and contrast, and it didn't do it again. Time will tell.
I read that it turns on by itself. It actually did it to me twice. Maybe with some update it will get fixed, I hope. Although it did get an update as soon as I connected it to the internet.
The remote control is not smart, but it is convenient and of good quality.
I don't think the menu is difficult; at first, it seems overwhelming, but once you learn it, you change your mind and it's okay.
Overall, at this price, 599, mini LED, 120Hz, Philips, and with such a picture, it's a good purchase.

Negatives: The TV loses channels. Almost every day I have to reinstall the channels from scratch. It's become tedious.
23-2-25 it got an update, everything is fine now.
την εχω μια εβδομαδα. σε συγκριση με μια lg uh770 που εχω, εχει καλυτερη εικονα, ευκρινεια, κ μαυρα που επαθα πλακα. οκ δεν ειναι oled, αλλα η εικονα με μια λεξη ειναι καταπληκτικη. κ 120HZ. το λογισμικο της δεν το χω πολυ ψαξει, αλλα φαινεται καλο, μου φερνει πιο πολυ σε google tv. το web ios της lg δεν μ αρεσε ποτε. το ambilight ειναι οντος πολυ ωραιο.
αρνητικα τωρα.
ο ηχος ειναι σιγουρα καλος για τηλεοραση, αλλα απλα καλος. μπορεις να τον ρυθμισεις οπως εσυ θες, αλλα της lg ειναι ανωτερος κ με μπασα.
2-3 φορες μου παραμορφωσε την εικονα κ τα γραμματα. αλλαζα καναλι, ξαναγυρναγα κ εφτιαχνε. κατεβασα ευκρινεια κ αντιθεση κ δεν το ξανακανε. ο χρονος θα δειξει.
διαβασα οτι ανοιγει μονη της. οντος μου το κανε 2 φορες. ισως με καποιο update να στρωσει, ελπιζω. Aν κ πηρε update μολις τη συνδεσα στο ιντερνετ.
To τηλεκοντρολ της, δεν ειναι smart, αλλα ειναι βολικο κ ποιοτικο.
το μενου δεν ειναι πιστευω δυσκολο, στην αρχη σου φαινεται βουνο, αλλα οταν το μαθεις αλλαζεις γνωμη κ ειναι οκ.
γενικα στην τιμη αυτη, 599, mini led, 120HZ, philips, κ με τετοια εικονα, ειναι μια καλη αγορα,

αρνητικά: η τηλεόραση χάνει τα κανάλια. κάθε μέρα σχεδόν κάνω απ' την αρχή εγκατάσταση καναλιών. έχει καταντήσει κουραστικό.

Very good image, viewing, LED lighting, incredible experience, etc. BUT it doesn't last long (Philips Ambilight series).
My first one (2020 model: [link]) burned out in 1.5 years. It was replaced under warranty with a new, newer model (12/2022: [link]), as the previous one couldn't be repaired and there was no stock. The new TV burned out in 7 months, and Philips' response was that the new one is out of warranty as it counts from the purchase of the first TV.
I may have been unlucky (2 TVs thrown away in 1.5 years and 7 months respectively + a friend who bought the first one and it burned out in 2.5 years). But I would think twice before buying a Philips Ambilight again.
That's what happened to me too: the best specs in the category - a real offer for a 58-inch TV with corresponding specs for only 389 euros (that's how much I bought it for in the distant 2021: laughing and crying at the same time). Anyone willing to change their TV every year and every 2 years (after that, it's out of warranty) and pay 600 euros, it's a great TV.
The comments and ratings on Skroutz focus on the specs - which are really worth it for 389 euros (I don't know about the 600 euros they have now with the EXACT SAME codes I provided or the new ones with the exact same technology). BUT the lifespan is long, unfortunately, as shown in the comments (if the consumer who experienced it bothers to leave a comment). The new potential consumer will also experience it in turn when they read the comments of the first few months for a more than value-for-money TV.
Yes, but if the durability improves in the new codes even though they have the same technology? Maybe the burnt-out boards were a problem of the older models (which strangely continue to be on the market today) and not for the new models? A review of the comments for all models in the Philips Ambilight series on Skroutz (and also abroad) will surprise you as they all have exactly the same pattern.
Philips' strategy to change product codes (while essentially the hardware and software are exactly the same) seems to work well! The ratings at the beginning are 5/5 (fairly, due to the specs and truly amazing viewing experience) but when the ratings for burnt-out boards start (usually after 1-2 years), new codes have already been released (like Manolis changed and put on different clothes). And similarly, they have 5/5 in the first few months until they start burning out themselves in 1-2 years and the ratings drop. But it doesn't matter, new codes will come out again with the same technology, etc. HOW CONVENIENT for Philips...

Έγινε αντικατάσταση εντός εγγύησης με καινούρια, νεότερο μοντέλο (12/2022: https://www.skroutz.gr/s/38965586/Philips-Smart-Tileorasi-58-4K-UHD-LED-58PUS8517-12-Ambilight-HDR-2022.html ) καθώς η προηγούμενη δεν επισκευαζόταν και δεν υπήρχε απόθεμα. Η νέα τηλεόραση κάηκε σε 7 μήνες, και η απάντηση της philips ήταν ότι η νέα έιναι εκτος εγγύησης καθώς μετράει από την αγορά της πρώτης τηλεόρασης.

First time I buy a Philips TV and I couldn't believe my eyes, incredible picture and sound, very easy menu and quite fast (without lag). In September 23rd, I bought a Sony 95/65" for the living room, which objectively has a very good picture, and recently I bought this 55" TV for the bedroom, far better picture than the Sony and I didn't expect it, considering I bought it on sale for half the price of the Sony (599 - 1199 respectively). It's awesome for Netflix - ps5 and this amblite it has takes it to another level. Very satisfied with the purchase.
Πρώτη φορά αγοράζω Philips τηλεόραση. και δεν πίστευα στα μάτια μου ,απίστευτη εικόνα και ήχος, πολύ εύκολο μενού και αρκετά γρήγορη ( χωρίς κωλύματα). το Σεπτέμβριο του 23 αγόρασα μια Sony 95 / 65" για το σαλόνι android που αντικειμενικά έχει πολύ καλή εικόνα,και πρόσφατα αγόρασα αυτήν την τηλεόραση 55" για το υπνοδωμάτιο, μακράν καλύτερη εικόνα από την Sony και δεν το περίμενα, δεδομένου ότι την αγόρασα σε προσφορά στην μισή τιμή από την Sony (599 - 1199 αντίστοιχα).
είναι φοβερή και για Netflix -ps5 και αυτό το amblite που έχει την πάει σε άλλο επίπεδο.

The TV has excellent picture quality and very powerful and clear sound. The menu is easy, the remote is not smart but it is complete and user-friendly. The TV would easily get five stars if it had an Android operating system. However, what it has is very poor, slow, and with quite a few glitches in its pre-installed apps. It does not have options for Cosmote TV, Nova TV, or Disney Channel. At least it has YouTube and Netflix. With an Android box, this problem is also solved, which is the only flaw of an otherwise amazing TV. At €599, which is its current offer price for the 55', there is no competitor that even comes close. Also, if you are a fan of ambilight, when the lights go out you will experience absolute magic. The package it offers is enough to be characterized as Value for money for the year.
Update: Just before two years were completed, it stopped recognizing the HDMI 1 port and as soon as you turn it off, the ambilight stays on permanently. It turns on by itself often and turns off by itself less frequently. Several times it also loses the internet connection. The picture and sound remain perfect when it plays but now the situation is frustrating. From four stars, we go down to two in just 22 months.
Η τηλεόραση έχει εξαιρετική εικόνα και πολύ δυνατό και καθαρό ήχο.Το μενού είναι εύκολο,το χειριστήριο δεν είναι smart ωστόσο είναι πλήρες και εύχρηστο.Η τηλεόραση θα έπαιρνε με ευκολία τα πέντε αστέρια αν είχε android λειτουργικό.Αυτό που έχει όμως είναι πολύ φτωχό,αργό και με αρκετά κολλήματα στις προεγκατεστημένες εφαρμογές του.Δεν διαθέτει επιλογή για Cosmote TV,Nova TV ή Disney Channel.Έχει YouTube και Netflix τουλάχιστον.Με ένα android box λύνεται και αυτό το πρόβλημα που είναι και το μοναδικό ψεγάδι της κατά τα άλλα φοβερής τηλεόρασης.Στα 599€ που κυκλοφορεί σε προσφορά αυτή την περίοδο στις 55' δεν υπάρχει ανταγωνιστής που να πλησιάζει ούτε με τα κυάλια.Επίσης αν είστε λάτρης του ambilight όταν τα φώτα κλείσουν θα ζήσετε την απόλυτη μαγεία.Το πακέτο που προσφέρει είναι αρκετό για να χαρακτηριστεί Value for money for the year.
Update:Λίγο πριν συμπληρωθούν τα δύο χρόνια σταμάτησε να αναγνωρίζει τη θύρα Hdmi 1 και μόλις την κλείσεις ανάβει το ambilight μόνιμα.Ανοιγει μόνη της συχνά και κλείνει μόνη της πιο σπάνια.Αρκετές φορές χάνει και τη σύνδεση στο ίντερνετ.Η εικόνα και ο ήχος παραμένουν τελεια όταν παίζει αλλά πλέον η κατάσταση είναι εκνευριστική.Απο τα τέσσερα αστέρια πάμε λοιπόν στα δύο μέσα σε 22 μήνες.
Awesome television, excellent for its price. The sound is unbelievably good and it's the first time I see something like this on a television! It truly deserves it and it's very cheap for what it offers.

So far, it is impeccable. The best for its price (I bought it for 700€). The ambilight is simply amazing. Very good picture quality and a wide viewing angle. If you're not looking for something in OLED, it is the best purchase.

Truly perfect picture and sound. All the comments that have been written are valid. However, it functioned normally for 2-3 months. Then various problems began. Sporadically it would turn on by itself, turn off by itself, lose channels and needed to be retuned, wouldn't connect to the internet, etc.
When the problems intensified, we decided to report a malfunction. The technician who came upgraded the software and asked us to monitor it for a while to see how it would go.
The problems continued. So the technician came again and concluded that the motherboard of the television would need to be replaced. Which indeed happened.
After the motherboard was replaced, it functioned normally for only a few days. Then the problems started again. And more intensely this time. The climax was that the television would turn on, the ambilights would light up, the Philips logo would appear but then it wouldn't load the software, the screen would go black and there was neither picture nor sound (even though the device remained on).
We reported a malfunction again, the same technician came back and told us that the motherboard would need to be replaced AGAIN!
Of course, this was not something we could accept. In a television purchased just 6 months ago, to change the motherboard 2 times? Obviously, this is a defective product. So we requested a replacement. Initially, Philips refused, stating that the company's policy is that as long as there are spare parts, a device replacement is not justified, only the replacement of the parts. We did not accept this, and so, with the help of the department store, they understood that they would have to replace it. However, the same model was not available, so they offered us a replacement with a similar model (65pml9019/12) which has now been ordered from abroad and we are waiting to receive it.
In conclusion, it may be a perfect television but after what happened to us (even if it's a one-off case and we were the unlucky ones) I would not recommend it to anyone

Πραγματικά τέλεια εικόνα και ήχος. Ισχύουν όλα τα σχόλια που έχουν γραφτεί. Όμως λειτούργησε κανονικά για 2-3 μήνες. Μετά άρχισαν διάφορα προβλήματα. Σποραδικά άνοιγε μόνη της, έκλεινε μόνη της, έχανε τα κανάλια κι έπρεπε να τα συντονίσεις ξανά, δεν συνδεόταν στο ίντερνετ κ.α.

Το αποκορύφωμα ήταν ότι η τηλεόραση άνοιγε μεν, άναβαν τα ambilights, εμφανιζόταν το λογότυπο της Philips αλλά μετά δεν φόρτωνε το λογισμικό, η οθόνη μαύριζε και δεν υπήρχε ούτε εικόνα, ούτε ήχος (παρότι η συσκευή παρέμενε ανοιχτή).
Δηλώσαμε εκ νέου βλάβη, ήρθε ο ίδιος τεχνικός ξανά και μας είπε ότι θα πρέπει να αλλαχθεί ΞΑΝΑ η μητρική!
Ασφαλώς δεν ήταν κάτι που θα μπορούσαμε να αποδεχθούμε. Σε τηλεόραση που αγοράστηκε μόλις 6 μήνες πριν να αλλάξουμε 2 φορές μητρική πλακέτα; Προφανώς πρόκειται για ελαττωματικό προϊόν. Ζητήσαμε λοιπόν αντικατάσταση. Αρχικά η Philips αρνήθηκε λέγοντας ότι πολιτική της εταιρίας είναι πως για όσο υπάρχουν ανταλλακτικά δεν δικαιολογείται αλλαγή συσκευής παρά μόνο αντικατάσταση των ανταλλακτικών. Εμείς δεν το δεχόμασταν κι έτσι, με τη βοήθεια και του πολυκαταστήματος, κατάλαβαν ότι θα πρέπει να την αντικαταστήσουν. Όμως δεν υπήρχε το ίδιο μοντέλο κι έτσι μάς πρότειναν αντικατάσταση με παρεμφερές μοντέλο (65pml9019/12) το οποίο πλέον έχει παραγγελθεί από το εξωτερικό και περιμένουμε να παραλάβουμε.
Εν κατακλείδι, μπορεί να είναι τέλεια τηλεόραση αλλά μετά από αυτό που μας συνέβη (έστω κι αν πρόκειται για μεμονωμένη περίπτωση και ήμασταν εμείς οι άτυχοι) δεν θα την πρότεινα σε κανέναν
Great disappointment – eventually replaced after a lot of hassle
I bought the Philips 55PML9008/12 TV because of its technical features (MiniLED, Ambilight, P5 AI), expecting top image quality. Unfortunately, from the very first moment it showed severe backlight bleeding, to the extent that it seriously affected the viewing experience.
There followed two repairs (with replacement of the mainboard and panel), without any substantial result. Although Philips technical support was prompt and professional, the overall process was extremely time-consuming and demanding for the consumer.
Finally, after 25 days of continuous communication, a replacement with a newer model was approved.
⚠️ Although the series appears technologically advanced, the reliability of this particular unit was problematic. I would not recommend it – there are more stable and efficient options in the same category.

Αγόρασα την τηλεόραση Philips 55PML9008/12 λόγω των τεχνικών χαρακτηριστικών της (MiniLED, Ambilight, P5 AI), περιμένοντας κορυφαία ποιότητα εικόνας. Δυστυχώς, από την πρώτη στιγμή παρουσίασε έντονη διαρροή φωτός (backlight bleeding), σε βαθμό που επηρέαζε σοβαρά την εμπειρία θέασης.
Ακολούθησαν δύο επισκευές (με αντικατάσταση μητρικής πλακέτας και πάνελ), χωρίς ουσιαστικό αποτέλεσμα. Αν και η τεχνική υποστήριξη της Philips ήταν άμεση και επαγγελματική, η συνολική διαδικασία ήταν εξαιρετικά χρονοβόρα και απαιτητική για τον καταναλωτή.
Τελικά, μετά από 25 ημέρες συνεχούς επικοινωνίας, εγκρίθηκε αντικατάσταση με νεότερο μοντέλο.

This specific 65" television, with ambilight, the mini-LED panel 120Hz and a price of €800 (this is the current price as of 10/9/24 at a large red store) is truly VFM. The menu is really fast, it just lacks CosmoteTV and EonTV. The sound of the television is satisfactory. Where it really excels is the picture, which combined with the ambilight leaves you speechless!
Η συγκεκριμένη τηλεόραση με 65" , με το ambilight, το mini-LED panel 120Hz και με τιμή τα 800 € (τόσο υπάρχει αυτή τη στιγμή 10/9/24 σε μεγάλο κόκκινο κατάστημα) είναι πραγματικά VFM. Το μενού πραγματικά γρήγορο, του λείπει μόνο η CosmoteTV και EonTV. Ο ήχος της τηλεόρασης ικανοποιητικός. Εκεί που πραγματικά υπερέχει είναι η εικόνα, που σε συνδυασμό με το ambilght σε αφήνει με ανοιχτό στόμα!
Very good picture guys. The menu is user-friendly although it doesn't have many applications but it has the basics. Netflix, Disney, Amazon prime, YouTube. It doesn't have Cosmote TV, It doesn't have Spotify. I have installed google TV and I have everything. I also added a JBL 600W soundbar and it's a SLAUGHTER inside the bedroom. My wife suffers.

Υπάρχει δυνατότητα εγκατάστασης του play store; Είναι android η tv;
Θέλω να βλέπω eon μέσω της εφαρμογής και όχι από το box της eon.
Να την απορρίψω γι'αυτό το λόγο;;;
Δυστυχώς δεν έχει android και play store. Και προς το παρόν δεν έχει ούτε eon, ούτε, cosmote TV.
Έχει όμως τόσα άλλα υπέρ που δεν θα την απέρριπτα γι αυτό τον λόγο. Επίσης το box της Cosmote δουλεύει με το τηλεκοντρόλ της τηλεόρασης. Πολύ πιθανό και της eon αν εχει επιλογή hdmi cec.

I've had it for a week. Compared to an LG UH770 that I have, it has better picture, clarity, and blacks that blew me away. Okay, it's not OLED, but the picture is amazing in one word. And 120Hz. I haven't explored the software much, but it seems good, it reminds me more of Google TV. I never liked LG's web OS. The Ambilight is indeed very nice.
Now for the negatives.
The sound is definitely good for a TV, but just good. You can adjust it however you want, but LG's is superior and has bass.
2-3 times it distorted the picture and the letters. I changed the channel, went back, and it fixed itself. I lowered the clarity and contrast, and it didn't do it again. Time will tell.
I read that it turns on by itself. It actually did it to me twice. Maybe with some update it will get fixed, I hope. Although it did get an update as soon as I connected it to the internet.
The remote control is not smart, but it is convenient and of good quality.
I don't think the menu is difficult; at first, it seems overwhelming, but once you learn it, you change your mind and it's okay.
Overall, at this price, 599, mini LED, 120Hz, Philips, and with such a picture, it's a good purchase.

Negatives: The TV loses channels. Almost every day I have to reinstall the channels from scratch. It's become tedious.

την εχω μια εβδομαδα. σε συγκριση με μια lg uh770 που εχω, εχει καλυτερη εικονα, ευκρινεια, κ μαυρα που επαθα πλακα. οκ δεν ειναι oled, αλλα η εικονα με μια λεξη ειναι καταπληκτικη. κ 120HZ. το λογισμικο της δεν το χω πολυ ψαξει, αλλα φαινεται καλο, μου φερνει πιο πολυ σε google tv. το web ios της lg δεν μ αρεσε ποτε. το ambilight ειναι οντος πολυ ωραιο.
αρνητικα τωρα.
ο ηχος ειναι σιγουρα καλος για τηλεοραση, αλλα απλα καλος. μπορεις να τον ρυθμισεις οπως εσυ θες, αλλα της lg ειναι ανωτερος κ με μπασα.
2-3 φορες μου παραμορφωσε την εικονα κ τα γραμματα. αλλαζα καναλι, ξαναγυρναγα κ εφτιαχνε. κατεβασα ευκρινεια κ αντιθεση κ δεν το ξανακανε. ο χρονος θα δειξει.
διαβασα οτι ανοιγει μονη της. οντος μου το κανε 2 φορες. ισως με καποιο update να στρωσει, ελπιζω. Aν κ πηρε update μολις τη συνδεσα στο ιντερνετ.
To τηλεκοντρολ της, δεν ειναι smart, αλλα ειναι βολικο κ ποιοτικο.
το μενου δεν ειναι πιστευω δυσκολο, στην αρχη σου φαινεται βουνο, αλλα οταν το μαθεις αλλαζεις γνωμη κ ειναι οκ.

Very good image, viewing, LED lighting, incredible experience, etc. BUT it doesn't last long (Philips Ambilight series).
My first one (2020 model: [link]) burned out in 1.5 years. It was replaced under warranty with a new, newer model (12/2022: [link]), as the previous one couldn't be repaired and there was no stock. The new TV burned out in 7 months, and Philips' response was that the new one is out of warranty as it counts from the purchase of the first TV.
I may have been unlucky (2 TVs thrown away in 1.5 years and 7 months respectively + a friend who bought the first one and it burned out in 2.5 years). But I would think twice before buying a Philips Ambilight again.
That's what happened to me too: the best specs in the category - a real offer for a 58-inch TV with corresponding specs for only 389 euros (that's how much I bought it for in the distant 2021: laughing and crying at the same time). Anyone willing to change their TV every year and every 2 years (after that, it's out of warranty) and pay 600 euros, it's a great TV.
The comments and ratings on Skroutz focus on the specs - which are really worth it for 389 euros (I don't know about the 600 euros they have now with the EXACT SAME codes I provided or the new ones with the exact same technology). BUT the lifespan is long, unfortunately, as shown in the comments (if the consumer who experienced it bothers to leave a comment). The new potential consumer will also experience it in turn when they read the comments of the first few months for a more than value-for-money TV.
Yes, but if the durability improves in the new codes even though they have the same technology? Maybe the burnt-out boards were a problem of the older models (which strangely continue to be on the market today) and not for the new models? A review of the comments for all models in the Philips Ambilight series on Skroutz (and also abroad) will surprise you as they all have exactly the same pattern.
Philips' strategy to change product codes (while essentially the hardware and software are exactly the same) seems to work well! The ratings at the beginning are 5/5 (fairly, due to the specs and truly amazing viewing experience) but when the ratings for burnt-out boards start (usually after 1-2 years), new codes have already been released (like Manolis changed and put on different clothes). And similarly, they have 5/5 in the first few months until they start burning out themselves in 1-2 years and the ratings drop. But it doesn't matter, new codes will come out again with the same technology, etc. HOW CONVENIENT for Philips...

Έγινε αντικατάσταση εντός εγγύησης με καινούρια, νεότερο μοντέλο (12/2022: https://www.skroutz.gr/s/38965586/Philips-Smart-Tileorasi-58-4K-UHD-LED-58PUS8517-12-Ambilight-HDR-2022.html ) καθώς η προηγούμενη δεν επισκευαζόταν και δεν υπήρχε απόθεμα. Η νέα τηλεόραση κάηκε σε 7 μήνες, και η απάντηση της philips ήταν ότι η νέα έιναι εκτος εγγύησης καθώς μετράει από την αγορά της πρώτης τηλεόρασης.

First time I buy a Philips TV and I couldn't believe my eyes, incredible picture and sound, very easy menu and quite fast (without lag). In September 23rd, I bought a Sony 95/65" for the living room, which objectively has a very good picture, and recently I bought this 55" TV for the bedroom, far better picture than the Sony and I didn't expect it, considering I bought it on sale for half the price of the Sony (599 - 1199 respectively). It's awesome for Netflix - ps5 and this amblite it has takes it to another level. Very satisfied with the purchase.
Πρώτη φορά αγοράζω Philips τηλεόραση. και δεν πίστευα στα μάτια μου ,απίστευτη εικόνα και ήχος, πολύ εύκολο μενού και αρκετά γρήγορη ( χωρίς κωλύματα). το Σεπτέμβριο του 23 αγόρασα μια Sony 95 / 65" για το σαλόνι android που αντικειμενικά έχει πολύ καλή εικόνα,και πρόσφατα αγόρασα αυτήν την τηλεόραση 55" για το υπνοδωμάτιο, μακράν καλύτερη εικόνα από την Sony και δεν το περίμενα, δεδομένου ότι την αγόρασα σε προσφορά στην μισή τιμή από την Sony (599 - 1199 αντίστοιχα).
είναι φοβερή και για Netflix -ps5 και αυτό το amblite που έχει την πάει σε άλλο επίπεδο.

The television is excellent! It has realistic colors with a crystal-clear picture, nice viewing angles, and powerful sound! Its menu is quite user-friendly and the LED lighting on its back gives a different feel to the space!
Η τηλεόραση είναι εξαιρετική! Έχει ρεαλιστικά χρώματα με πεντακάθαρη εικόνα, ωραίες γωνίες θέασης και δυνατό ήχο! Το μενού της ειναι αρκετά εύχρηστο και ο led φωτισμός στο πίσω της μέρος δίνει άλλη αίσθηση στο χώρο!!
The TV has excellent picture quality and very powerful and clear sound. The menu is easy, the remote is not smart but it is complete and user-friendly. The TV would easily get five stars if it had an Android operating system. However, what it has is very poor, slow, and with quite a few glitches in its pre-installed apps. It does not have options for Cosmote TV, Nova TV, or Disney Channel. At least it has YouTube and Netflix. With an Android box, this problem is also solved, which is the only flaw of an otherwise amazing TV. At €599, which is its current offer price for the 55', there is no competitor that even comes close. Also, if you are a fan of ambilight, when the lights go out you will experience absolute magic. The package it offers is enough to be characterized as Value for money for the year.
Update: Just before two years were completed, it stopped recognizing the HDMI 1 port and as soon as you turn it off, the ambilight stays on permanently. It turns on by itself often and turns off by itself less frequently. Several times it also loses the internet connection. The picture and sound remain perfect when it plays but now the situation is frustrating. From four stars, we go down to two in just 22 months.

Update:Λίγο πριν συμπληρωθούν τα δύο χρόνια σταμάτησε να αναγνωρίζει τη θύρα Hdmi 1 και μόλις την κλείσεις ανάβει το ambilight μόνιμα.Ανοιγει μόνη της συχνά και κλείνει μόνη της πιο σπάνια.Αρκετές φορές χάνει και τη σύνδεση στο ίντερνετ.Η εικόνα και ο ήχος παραμένουν τελεια όταν παίζει αλλά πλέον η κατάσταση είναι εκνευριστική.Απο τα τέσσερα αστέρια πάμε λοιπόν στα δύο μέσα σε 22 μήνες.
Awesome television, excellent for its price. The sound is unbelievably good and it's the first time I see something like this on a television! It truly deserves it and it's very cheap for what it offers.

So far, it is impeccable. The best for its price (I bought it for 700€). The ambilight is simply amazing. Very good picture quality and a wide viewing angle. If you're not looking for something in OLED, it is the best purchase.

Purchased on 5/13/2024 the 65pml9008/12, as an exhibition product from a well-known large chain of stores.
Truly perfect picture and sound. All the comments that have been written are valid. However, it functioned normally for 2-3 months. Then various problems began. Sporadically it would turn on by itself, turn off by itself, lose channels and needed to be retuned, wouldn't connect to the internet, etc.
When the problems intensified, we decided to report a malfunction. The technician who came upgraded the software and asked us to monitor it for a while to see how it would go.
The problems continued. So the technician came again and concluded that the motherboard of the television would need to be replaced. Which indeed happened.
After the motherboard was replaced, it functioned normally for only a few days. Then the problems started again. And more intensely this time. The climax was that the television would turn on, the ambilights would light up, the Philips logo would appear but then it wouldn't load the software, the screen would go black and there was neither picture nor sound (even though the device remained on).
We reported a malfunction again, the same technician came back and told us that the motherboard would need to be replaced AGAIN!
Of course, this was not something we could accept. In a television purchased just 6 months ago, to change the motherboard 2 times? Obviously, this is a defective product. So we requested a replacement. Initially, Philips refused, stating that the company's policy is that as long as there are spare parts, a device replacement is not justified, only the replacement of the parts. We did not accept this, and so, with the help of the department store, they understood that they would have to replace it. However, the same model was not available, so they offered us a replacement with a similar model (65pml9019/12) which has now been ordered from abroad and we are waiting to receive it.
In conclusion, it may be a perfect television but after what happened to us (even if it's a one-off case and we were the unlucky ones) I would not recommend it to anyone
Αγοράστηκε 13/5/2024 η 65pml9008/12, ως εκθεσιακό προϊόν από γνωστή μεγάλη αλυσίδα καταστημάτων.
Πραγματικά τέλεια εικόνα και ήχος. Ισχύουν όλα τα σχόλια που έχουν γραφτεί. Όμως λειτούργησε κανονικά για 2-3 μήνες. Μετά άρχισαν διάφορα προβλήματα. Σποραδικά άνοιγε μόνη της, έκλεινε μόνη της, έχανε τα κανάλια κι έπρεπε να τα συντονίσεις ξανά, δεν συνδεόταν στο ίντερνετ κ.α.
Όταν τα προβλήματα εντάθηκαν αποφασίσαμε να δηλώσουμε βλάβη. Ο τεχνικός που ήρθε έκανε αναβάθμιση στο λογισμικό και μας ζήτησε να την παρακολουθήσουμε για ένα διάστημα να δούμε πώς θα πάει.
Τα προβλήματα εξακολούθησαν. Έτσι ο τεχνικός ήρθε ξανά κι αποφάνθηκε ότι θα πρέπει να αλλαχτεί η μητρική πλακέτα της τηλεόρασης. Όπερ κι εγένετο.
Αφότου αλλάχθηκε η μητρική λειτούργησε κανονικά για μερικές μόνο ημέρες. Μετά άρχισαν ξανά τα προβλήματα. Κι εντονότερα αυτή τη φορά. Το αποκορύφωμα ήταν ότι η τηλεόραση άνοιγε μεν, άναβαν τα ambilights, εμφανιζόταν το λογότυπο της Philips αλλά μετά δεν φόρτωνε το λογισμικό, η οθόνη μαύριζε και δεν υπήρχε ούτε εικόνα, ούτε ήχος (παρότι η συσκευή παρέμενε ανοιχτή).
Δηλώσαμε εκ νέου βλάβη, ήρθε ο ίδιος τεχνικός ξανά και μας είπε ότι θα πρέπει να αλλαχθεί ΞΑΝΑ η μητρική!
Ασφαλώς δεν ήταν κάτι που θα μπορούσαμε να αποδεχθούμε. Σε τηλεόραση που αγοράστηκε μόλις 6 μήνες πριν να αλλάξουμε 2 φορές μητρική πλακέτα; Προφανώς πρόκειται για ελαττωματικό προϊόν. Ζητήσαμε λοιπόν αντικατάσταση. Αρχικά η Philips αρνήθηκε λέγοντας ότι πολιτική της εταιρίας είναι πως για όσο υπάρχουν ανταλλακτικά δεν δικαιολογείται αλλαγή συσκευής παρά μόνο αντικατάσταση των ανταλλακτικών. Εμείς δεν το δεχόμασταν κι έτσι, με τη βοήθεια και του πολυκαταστήματος, κατάλαβαν ότι θα πρέπει να την αντικαταστήσουν. Όμως δεν υπήρχε το ίδιο μοντέλο κι έτσι μάς πρότειναν αντικατάσταση με παρεμφερές μοντέλο (65pml9019/12) το οποίο πλέον έχει παραγγελθεί από το εξωτερικό και περιμένουμε να παραλάβουμε.
Εν κατακλείδι, μπορεί να είναι τέλεια τηλεόραση αλλά μετά από αυτό που μας συνέβη (έστω κι αν πρόκειται για μεμονωμένη περίπτωση και ήμασταν εμείς οι άτυχοι) δεν θα την πρότεινα σε κανέναν
Great disappointment – eventually replaced after a lot of hassle
I bought the Philips 55PML9008/12 TV because of its technical features (MiniLED, Ambilight, P5 AI), expecting top image quality. Unfortunately, from the very first moment it showed severe backlight bleeding, to the extent that it seriously affected the viewing experience.
There followed two repairs (with replacement of the mainboard and panel), without any substantial result. Although Philips technical support was prompt and professional, the overall process was extremely time-consuming and demanding for the consumer.
Finally, after 25 days of continuous communication, a replacement with a newer model was approved.
⚠️ Although the series appears technologically advanced, the reliability of this particular unit was problematic. I would not recommend it – there are more stable and efficient options in the same category.
Μεγάλη απογοήτευση – τελικά αντικατάσταση μετά από ταλαιπωρία
Αγόρασα την τηλεόραση Philips 55PML9008/12 λόγω των τεχνικών χαρακτηριστικών της (MiniLED, Ambilight, P5 AI), περιμένοντας κορυφαία ποιότητα εικόνας. Δυστυχώς, από την πρώτη στιγμή παρουσίασε έντονη διαρροή φωτός (backlight bleeding), σε βαθμό που επηρέαζε σοβαρά την εμπειρία θέασης.
Ακολούθησαν δύο επισκευές (με αντικατάσταση μητρικής πλακέτας και πάνελ), χωρίς ουσιαστικό αποτέλεσμα. Αν και η τεχνική υποστήριξη της Philips ήταν άμεση και επαγγελματική, η συνολική διαδικασία ήταν εξαιρετικά χρονοβόρα και απαιτητική για τον καταναλωτή.
Τελικά, μετά από 25 ημέρες συνεχούς επικοινωνίας, εγκρίθηκε αντικατάσταση με νεότερο μοντέλο.
⚠️ Παρότι η σειρά φαίνεται τεχνολογικά εξελιγμένη, η αξιοπιστία της συγκεκριμένης μονάδας ήταν προβληματική. Δεν θα την πρότεινα – υπάρχουν πιο σταθερές και αποδοτικές επιλογές στην ίδια κατηγορία.
This specific 65" television, with ambilight, the mini-LED panel 120Hz and a price of €800 (this is the current price as of 10/9/24 at a large red store) is truly VFM. The menu is really fast, it just lacks CosmoteTV and EonTV. The sound of the television is satisfactory. Where it really excels is the picture, which combined with the ambilight leaves you speechless!
Η συγκεκριμένη τηλεόραση με 65" , με το ambilight, το mini-LED panel 120Hz και με τιμή τα 800 € (τόσο υπάρχει αυτή τη στιγμή 10/9/24 σε μεγάλο κόκκινο κατάστημα) είναι πραγματικά VFM. Το μενού πραγματικά γρήγορο, του λείπει μόνο η CosmoteTV και EonTV. Ο ήχος της τηλεόρασης ικανοποιητικός. Εκεί που πραγματικά υπερέχει είναι η εικόνα, που σε συνδυασμό με το ambilght σε αφήνει με ανοιχτό στόμα!
Very good picture guys. The menu is user-friendly although it doesn't have many applications but it has the basics. Netflix, Disney, Amazon prime, YouTube. It doesn't have Cosmote TV, It doesn't have Spotify. I have installed google TV and I have everything. I also added a JBL 600W soundbar and it's a SLAUGHTER inside the bedroom. My wife suffers.
πολύ καλή εικόνα παιδιά. Το μενού είναι εύχρηστο αν και δεν έχει παρά πολλές εφαρμογές αλλά έχει τις βασικές. Netflix, Disney, Amazon prime, YouTube. Δεν έχει Cosmote TV, Δεν έχει Spotify. Έχω βάλει google TV και τα έχω όλα. Έβαλα και μια ηχόμπαρα jbl 600W και γίνεται μέσα στο υπνοδωμάτιο ΣΦΑΓΗ. Η γυναίκα μου υποφέρει.
