Varietal composition: 17%
Region: France
Tasting characteristics: The House of Lillet was founded in 1872 in Podensac, a village south of Bordeaux, by Raymont and Paul Lillet, two wine, spirit, and liqueur merchants. They created the first French vermouth-apéritif from Bordeaux wines and handcrafted fruit liqueurs. As a base, 85% white wines from Bordeaux (mainly Semillon) and 15% local liqueurs are used, which mature for 12 months in oak barrels. A refreshing apéritif with a pleasant fruity and floral taste.
