Analysis

There are very few things I truly want to squeeze into my home but can't fit. The most notable example is a projector, and seeing the Wanbo X5 and its price, I get another pang of disappointment that doesn't seem to belong anywhere.

Or at least, it doesn't fit somewhere where it wouldn't bother my wife. The doghouse is uncomfortable.

The Wanbo X5 is a Smart projector, as it runs on Android 9.0, with all the certifications, so it is compatible with all streaming platforms on the market. Yes, even with Ertflix and Ant1TV.

Projection Technology

The projection system offers impressive brightness levels of up to 1100 ANSI Lumens, with the Wanbo projector displaying a Full HD image (native resolution) with a Wide Color Gamut for unparalleled colors, high contrast, and a natural, realistic picture.

It has a projection size ranging from 40-120″, at a distance of 1.3 to 4 meters from the projection point, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio.

Contrast Ratio

Both focusing and Keystone correction if the projection is not straight, are automatic, with the Wanbo X5 supporting Front/Rear and Ceiling Projection.

To run Android, you'll find a quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, while the X5 supports Dual Band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, and is equipped with stereo speakers with a total output of 10W.

Connectivity

On the port side, you will find 2 USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI, one headphone jack, and one AV In.

Finally, I would like to mention that Wanbo has gone to the effort of creating an excellent cooling system called “Dual Vortex Storm Cooling” that manages to keep the X5 cool with minimal noise.

Γνωρίζει κάποιος πώς να κάνει την εφαρμογή της Cosmote TV να λειτουργήσει; Την κάνει κανονικά εγκατάσταση αλλά μόλις την ανοίξεις βγάζει Error (invalid api key). Υποθέτω η συσκευή δεν είναι Android certified ή είναι rooted ( μάλλον απίθανο...) και η εφαρμογή της cosmote το "βλέπει"... και κολλάει. Δεν μπορεί... κάποια λύση θα υπάρχει... Βοηθήστε!
