Romed plaster bandage 10cm x 3m consists of a rigid fabric and is used after immobilization of fractures, orthopedic surgeries, or corrections. It reinforces the application of splints and molds.

It is immersed in water for 3-4 minutes and transforms into plaster. It absorbs quickly, evenly, and takes on a creamy texture. It consists of 17 strands of woven gauze and porous plaster made from gypsum. The bandage exhibits minimal plaster loss while the rich creamy texture allows for easy handling. The mold is safe for transport after 30 minutes. It dries completely after 12-24 hours.

Recommended water temperature is 20-25 degrees Celsius.

The orthopedic plaster is a shell that encloses a limb or large sections of the body to stabilize and hold anatomical structures, such as broken bones, in place until healing is confirmed. Plaster bandages consist of cotton bandage combined with plaster of Paris.
