The day with the night compared to the onboard sound card of the motherboard. If you want to listen to music from your computer, it is definitely worth its money. I suppose with a good combination of speakers, it will be elevated. I use it with simple pebble creative and it's fine.

I was lucky enough for the onboard Realtek to break down, so I got this card. I say lucky because nowadays most of us make do with onboard sound and we don't search for sound cards like we used to. The difference with the onboard is noticeable mainly in clarity - quality. Those of you with a "trained" ear will easily notice that there are many more details discernible when listening to a music piece, especially if you are using a good speaker system. Small in size, it won't take up space in your case, as it can be connected to a PCIe x1.0 slot. It also has a socket, of course, for the connector that controls the front inputs-outputs of the case (front panel header audio connector). It works flawlessly on Windows 11, "driving" a 5.1 speaker set from Creative. Simple and user-friendly software, which with minimal settings enhances the whole sound experience quite a bit.

Ok, you got it for two reasons. a) The sound chipset on your motherboard is awful or broke. b) Your headphones have high ohm requirements and you want something that simply pushes good power for little money. Its DAC is nothing special, the software isn't very useful, it just pushes power and for that it's just fine. There are much better performance options out there, but if you don't want to spend money on a DAC and you only use your headphones on the computer, it's a good cheap solution. Don't bother playing with the software unless you want a global EQ, just install the drivers and you're good to go. Also a good solution to run a cheap 7.1 home theater.

Everything is perfect!! Excellent for the price, so you can make an upgrade compared to the onboard. Clearly noticeable difference in quality and intensity!!!

It is the best sound card that someone can buy with 35 euros. A good start for those who listen to music (flac files) through a computer.

Many things play a significant role in a better sound experience, but I will not suggest details that I do not understand sufficiently.

Well, the sound card is value for money, and I believe that no one will be dissatisfied.

It presents a noticeable difference compared to the onboard of the motherboard, especially when you combine it with the software, which, as correctly mentioned above, prefer the official Creative website, gives life to the speakers (whether in low end or something better).

User-friendly program. Experiment with the settings, watch tutorials, there are several (depending on each person's ear).

Boost the sound in a 5.1 system. You need to play with the settings to find the right sound. Turn it up to the maximum without overwhelming the speakers, not to mention that it shakes the whole house with its intensity. 5 stars from me for its value for money

I recently changed my motherboard to the Msi Z390 pro, and I was not satisfied with the sound, unlike the Msi H370 Gaming that I had before. So I'm looking for a budget-friendly solution, and I chose this specific sound card. It's like day and night in terms of sound quality. The whole experience has been revived. From tinny sounds, I returned to musicality. Nice deep sound with bass. Clear. It's worth 100%.

Excellent card. You think that you have good sound on your computer since it has a built-in 5.1, 7.1, etc. card, but as soon as you install it, you will realize HOW wrong you were before.

It operates in the waters of onboard sound cards, after all, the chip that performs the DAC functions for all channels and headphone amplifier is from Realtek. If you are buying a sound card for music listening, you need something better like the SoundBlaster Z.

The sound is awesome, I have connected 2 audio systems (a Logitech stereo 2.0 and a nod 2.1) with T headphones and it has a huge problem. The neighbors. The only real issue is the drivers, which you download from the company's support page and not from the CD because it's terrible, it freezes with every parameter setting. If you find the settings that suit you, you will love it.

Good sound card. Slow software installation. Improved sound quality and volume. I cannot compare it to any other as it is my first time purchasing. I am satisfied.

I bought it after an accident I had, which completely rendered my on-board sound card useless, with the aim of quickly replacing it.
In general, I don't have high demands from the sound card and the result is highly satisfactory, with very good performance. The only negatives in its use are the absence of separate virtual devices for each input/output of the card (e.g. connecting headphones to the front output simply isolates the speakers from the rear output and I cannot have them simultaneously) and the absence of a "stereo mix" (or "what you hear" as it used to be called) recording input.
Also, the price at which I got it (~36€) is considered high compared to what the card offers (at least for me), but simply because I needed it immediately, it was the most economical choice considering the urgency.

At 38 euros that I bought it, I would have liked it to be a little more quality-wise. Otherwise, I have to say that I used to consider sound cards as something I simply didn't need. I was wrong, however, as with this card, I saw a huge difference in sound quality. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend it if you find it at a slightly better price.

So far everything is fine, no comparison in terms of quality with the VX 5.1 I had. The only issue is with the software, when I installed it, it stopped working!?, so I uninstalled it and let it play through the drivers that automatically download on win 10. I didn't bother fixing it further, it might be my own mistake.

The software that comes with the card is very good and user-friendly. I noticed a big difference compared to a simple card I had in the microphone input. Even if I whisper, my girlfriend can now hear me through Skype, and I have a simple Logitech desktop microphone. I'm not a pro in sound, but it satisfies me completely. It's a great addition if, for example, you don't have a sound card on your motherboard (like in my case where I burned it) or if you want to upgrade from 2.1 to 5.1. My only complaint is the price. Good choice if your motherboard's sound card is burned out. It doesn't have anything different from the on-board one. I want to emphasize that this specific model, as confirmed by the manufacturer, does not provide the option of Stereo mix, meaning you cannot simultaneously record from your computer, for example, a radio station or a song you are listening to on the internet, only from an external microphone or line in source.

The card is perfect for its price. I have installed it in my second PC. In the first one, I use the Asus Essence STX. Comparing them, the differences are minimal, almost unnoticeable. So, comparing it to a 200 euro card, I have an opinion. Very good sound, good bass. I highly recommend it, with eyes closed.

Bought 3 days ago for €36. Very good sound card, I combine it with the Logitech Z533 and before that I had the speakers of the monitor.... The software that accompanies it is awesome and the sound after installing the card is 60%~ stronger without it!! I recommend it

A joy is for its euros and has slightly better performance than the Asus Xonar DG and especially in the 5.1 speakers it blows me away!!!
I had the ASUS first and because after a few months of purchase it started to clog the sound and make noise, I got this little card.
I have it in a small PC that is for video/television and music and I am satisfied for the 3.3 years that I have it!
