I bought it for use on a Z5 and it works perfectly. Pressing the button halfway activates the focus and pressing it all the way takes the photo. There is the option to lock for long exposure. On the packaging, it doesn't mention any Z system cameras, but most of them are supported just fine. From the research I did, the definitely compatible models are: Z5 Z6 Z6II Z7 Z7II D750 D780 D7500 D7200 D7000 D5600 D5500 D5300 D3300 D610 D610 D600 D90 P7700 P7800 P950. Always with some reservation, of course. A very basic requirement is to make sure it has the correct plug in the front that fits your camera, as it may vary in some model series.
