Since 1550, there have been official references to the existence of the monastic vineyard. The estate and winery were used by the monks for the cultivation and harvest of grapes. The must was transported by mules to the Great Cave, where it was transferred to 500lt barrels. The replanting of the abandoned vineyard took place in 1999 with a long-term lease from the Monastery of the Great Cave. The vineyards include the following varieties:
- Mavrodaphne
- Mavro Kalavritino
- Cabernet Sauvignon
- Merlot
- Syrah
- Lagorthi
- Assyrtiko
- Malagouzia
- Riesling
