Excellent as a pod kit, better than many mod kits due to battery and pod capacity, especially since you can have resistance from 0.2Ω to 1.2Ω. In the package I received, it included the kit with one pod for DL vaping (instead of two that I saw in the videos and is also shown on Skroutz), two resistances (0.2Ω and 0.4Ω), and a very small charging cable. It is very important that it is compatible with all the pods of the Luxe series and with the GTX resistances that have been around for quite a few years; they are excellent in performance and reliability and - mainly - you can find them everywhere because they work for many models. I should note here that there are both RDL and MTL pods on the market, which combined with the right resistance, perform exactly as you want. For me personally, it's 4/5, but I must mention some negatives:
- Unfortunately, the liquid refill is done from the bottom, again with silicone. Fortunately, there are no leaks at all (Be careful when attaching the resistance). If it lights up red, meaning it does not recognize the pod, clean the poles with a dry cloth and all is well.
- Unfortunately, during the resistance change, it drips normally, which is a shame.
- It does not have a lock. However, it has a protection that if the fire button is held down for 10 seconds, it completely shuts off the pod and, additionally, it is anyway difficult to change the watts by itself as it can only be done through the short menu it has, so it might be unnecessary.
- After the first puffs, perhaps even before the first ml, the liquid level is not visible (the pod looks empty) and you have to keep turning the device upside down.
- There is no indication of the resistance in ohms on the screen. This is a small problem if you have more than one pod with different resistances, so you essentially have to guess from the automatic reading of the resistance. This is a very important function since in practice you cannot burn the resistance by exceeding the recommended watts if you do not have Smart Mode activated. EDIT: It shows you the resistance in ohms when you attach the pod. You do not have the indication on the screen, but you see it by putting in and taking out the pod.
- There is no automatic puff, for those who are used to it in other pods.
- As the watts increase, the noise also increases; it is generally noisy from 30-40W and above.
- The battery percentage displayed on the screen is not reliable. In mine, from 100%, it dropped directly to 86% after quite a while of use and then to 75% without intermediate indications. Also, the remaining charging time displayed when I charge it is much shorter than what it will actually take.
- Personally, I did not see what Vaporesso claims, that the intensity of the puff changes if you attach the pod by rotating it 180 degrees, perhaps because I am using it at 16W.
I should also note that if you do not need such a large battery or do not deal with watts, take a look at the Luxe XR and Luxe X2 as (a) they accept the same 5ml pods so you are covered and (b) because this (the Max) is thick and heavy. For me, with the RDL pod and 0.8Ω resistance, it produces about 13-14ml. If you do less or much less and do not play with the watts, the two above will cover you.
Εξαιρετικό σαν pod kit, καλύτερο και από πολλά mod kits λόγω μπαταρίας και χωρητικότητας των pods, ειδικά απ' την στιγμή που μπορείς να έχεις αντίσταση από 0.2Ω ως και 1.2Ω. Στην συσκευασία που παρέλαβα εγώ περιλαμβανόταν το κιτ με ένα pod για DL άτμισμα (αντί για δύο που έβλεπα στα βίντεο και φαίνεται και στο Skroutz), δύο αντιστάσεις (0,2Ω και 0.4Ω) κι ένα πολύ μικρό καλώδιο φόρτισης. Είναι πολύ σημαντικό το ότι έχει συμβατότητα με όλα τα pods της σειράς Luxe και με τις αντιστάσεις GTX που κυκλοφορούν αρκετά χρόνια, είναι εξαιρετικές στην απόδοση και την αξιοπιστία και -κυρίως- τις βρίσκεις παντού γιατί κάνουν για πάρα πολλά μοντέλα. Να σημειώσω εδώ ότι στην αγορά υπάρχουν τόσο RDL όσο και MTL pods που σε συνδυασμό με την σωστή αντίσταση, αποδίδει όπως ακριβώς θέλετε. Για εμένα προσωπικά είναι 4/5 αλλά οφείλω να αναφέρω κάποια αρνητικά:
- Δυστυχώς η αναπλήρωση υγρού γίνεται από κάτω, πάλι με σιλικόνη. Ευτυχώς δεν έχει καθόλου διαρροές όμως (Προσοχή όταν κουμπώνετε την αντίσταση). Αν σας ανάβει κόκκινο, δηλαδή δεν αναγνωρίζει το pod, καθαρίστε με στεγνό πανί τους πόλους και όλα καλά.
- Δυστυχώς κατά την αλλαγή αντίστασης, στάζει κανονικά, κρίμα.
- Δεν έχει κλείδωμα. Έχει όμως μία προστασία που αν κρατηθεί πατημένο το fire button για 10 δευτερόλεπτα, κλείνει ΕΝΤΕΛΩΣ το pod και, επιπλέον, είναι ούτως ή άλλως δύσκολο να αλλάξει μόνο του τα watt καθώς γίνεται μόνο μέσω του σύντομου μενού που έχει, οπότε ΙΣΩΣ και να είναι περιττό.
- Μετά από τις πρώτες τζούρες, ίσως και πριν το πρώτο ml, δεν φαίνεται η στάθμη του υγρού (το pod φαίνεται άδειο) και πρέπει να γυρίζεις συνέχεια ανάποδα την συσκευή.
- Δεν έχει ένδειξη των Ωμ της αντίστασης στην οθόνη. Αυτό είναι ένα μικρό πρόβλημα αν έχεις περισσότερα του ενός pod, με διαφορετικές αντιστάσεις οπότε ουσιαστικά θα πρέπει να μαντέψεις απ' την αυτόματη ανάγνωση της αντίστασης. Πολύ σημαντική λειτουργία αυτή καθώς στην πράξη δεν μπορείς να κάψεις την αντίσταση ξεπερνώντας τα προτεινόμενα Watts, αν δεν έχεις ενεργοποιημένο το Smart Mode. EDIT: Σου δείχνει τα Ω της αντίστασης όταν κουμπώνεις το pod. Δεν έχεις την ένδειξη στην οθόνη μεν, την βλέπεις βάζοντας και βγάζοντας το pod δε.
- Δεν έχει αυτόματη τζούρα, για όσους την έχουν συνηθίσει σε άλλα pods.
- Όσο αυξάνονται τα watts, αυξάνεται και ο θόρυβος, γενικά είναι θορυβώδες από τα 30-40W και πάνω.
- Το ποσοστό μπαταρίας που υπάρχει στην οθόνη δεν είναι αξιόπιστο. Στο δικό μου, από 100% έπεσε μετά από αρκετή ώρα χρήσης απευθείας στο 86% και μετά στο 75% χωρίς ενδιάμεσες ενδείξεις. Επίσης, ο υπολειπόμενος χρόνος φόρτισης που εμφανίζεται όταν το φορτίζω, είναι πολύ μικρότερος απ' αυτόν που τελικά θα χρειαστεί.
- Εγώ προσωπικά δεν είδα αυτό που ισχυρίζεται η Vaporesso, ότι αλλάζει η ένταση της τζούρας αν κουμπώσεις το pod περιστρέφοντας το 180 μοίρες, ίσως όμως γιατί το δουλεύω στα 16W.
Να σημειώσω επίσης ότι αν δεν χρειάζεστε τόσο μεγάλη μπαταρία ή δεν ασχολείστε με watt, ρίξτε μια ματιά και στα Luxe XR και στο Luxe X2 καθώς (a) δέχονται τα ίδια pods των 5ml οπότε καλύπτεστε και (b) επειδή αυτό (το Max) είναι χοντρό και βαρύ. Σ' εμένα με το RDL pod και αντίσταση 0.8Ω βγάζει περίπου 13-14ml. Αν κάνετε λιγότερα ή πολύ λιγότερα και δεν παίζετε με τα Watts, σας καλύπτουν τα δύο παραπάνω.
